has announced that Emmitt Smith will be moving from their main NFL
commentary team to head up his own studio show this season. "Janitorial
Closet With Emmitt" will debut this season to anyone who happens to be
passing near the closet it is being performed in. The decision to move
Smith came after witnessing what a horrid announcer he was last season
doing analysis for their post-game coverage. Constantly stuttering,
making up words and phrases such as "pelaties", "carousing", and his
favorite way to describe a bad loss, "blowed out".
Executives
told Smith that he will now have a chance to host his own show, and it
can be as uncensored and crazy as he wants, just as long as he doesn't
get in the way of the janitorial staff. Smith's show will air everyday
at 11:00 PM, primetime opposition to their flagship SportsCenter
broadcast. ESPN are confident however, that they will not suffer
significant loss of viewership. If you are ever in the ESPN offices,
you might want to stop by the closet to check it out.
You're right about Emmitt being terrible behind the mic. Emmitt did one thing Great and that was run the ball. The sad thing is, this is all ESPN's fault. They're who hired him. What, you don't do any testing to see if you're capable before you go live on the air? Shame on ESPN. Just like you. You're a terrible writer and a lousy comedian. Fox Sports should have checked you're credentials first before hiring you. Now, you've made them look stupid! Perhaps there's one thing you do well and it looks like you're still trying to find out whatever it is!
ESPN could do the world a huge favor and let emmitt sit between Jaws and Mike on the Monday night football coverage.... and put a roll of duct tape around Tony Kornheiser's big fat stupid mouth so nobody would have to suffer through listening to
that jack as/s retarded commentary ever again.

Even though Kornheiser will still be on ESPN, that will not even compare to the #### blatherings of Patrick-OLberman on Sunday nights. Thank god they are only doing a segment.
Still, at the end of da day, I not understands why some peoples make fun of Emmitt's speaking skill. Him deserve to be the sport commentator for the ESPNs. He know how to do the communicate. I love those style he bring to the game....
