Foxsports' NASCAR bloggers have all submitted their own ideas for a better version of the Car Of Tomorrow. Some were considered by Mr. France and the gang, and were almost implemented this year before the current COT was decided upon. Let's take a look at the cars submitted by our local NASCAR experts.
Part 1 of 2. If you aren't on this post see the second one.
This: JayJayDean Have u ever seen this guy write a short post in his blog? His writing seems to extend forever so a extended version of the COT is the right call.
That:JayJay's ideal COT is the longest one available, just as his blogs are.
This: Tezgm99 The Trans-Tasman Traveler is an Aussie, and Australia is well known for it's Outback.
That:Tez takes it a step further with the Subaru Outback sponsored by Outback Steakhouse
This: ccr1d3r. His Black Flag Outpost blog brings us humor and a different perspective on racing.
That: Only fitting he would suggest a black car to match his blog, and the Batmobile is the most famous black car of them all.
This: deemon55 is known to be a huge fan of alternative fueled vehicles and the extreme high performance machines.
That: How does 376mph in a deisel powered Peterbilt sound for some X-treme high performance action? His Car of Tomorrow is FAST FAST FAST! but it has a little trouble cornering.
This: Earnhardt fans, Forensic2, 8Jr8fan, and klvalus teamed up to develop a COT that would pay tribute to Big E and Lil E
That: However, with so many Earnhard fans around, there was no way the car would hold the whole crew, so they decided on a truck version instead..
This: xbulrdr8 is a big fan of the outdoors, but his original COT idea just didn't catch on for some reason.
That: He has recently given up and joined forces with the Earnhardt Talledega research team, while breweing his own beer in his mobile unit.
This: turnlefttony , Tsfanpc , TonyStewartFan - These Tony Stewart fans were only able to fund half a team, becuase the Eanrhardtsters stole most of their money for spare truck tires and new wood for xbuldr's mobile headquarters.
That: Maybe they can get the Earnhardt fans a deal at Home Depot on lumber, so they can afford to develop the rest of their car.
This: mudminnows is very attimate about expressing his love for the old days of NASCAR.
That: His selection would be the COY, Car of Yesterday, instead of Car Of Tomorrow.
This: HotfootLori- Have you ever wondered where she got that name?
That: Now we know why they call her Hotfoot! She got her start in NASCAR research working with mudminnows to bring back the original NASCAR car design.
Hope she has some good shoes.
This: photogr 's original concept was very popular with his GGW(Gorrilas Gone Wild) race team, but never caught on with the NASCAR executives.
That: He has since moved on, using his fame to start a new business in sales.
This: IowaGirl --The state of Iowa is the largest corn producer in the United States. She has an unlimited supply of parts for her COT concept.
That: Unfortunately she seems to lose all her backup cars when harvest season comes around.
This: All Revved Up has great body designs for his COT. The problem is, his engines continue to fail before he can actually complete any tests.
That: Maybe a Revv limiter would solve his over Revving issues.
This: 14Falcons' posts, quiet often, are about Sterling Marlin. He loves to comment on this guy, sometimes even to the point of rambling about him.
That: Rambling about Sterling Marlin? Hmmm , Maybe a 1966 Rambler Marlin is the only choice here.
I've read this three times! Each time my smile gets bigger. You have definately started my day off on a great note. Thanks for this. You are awesome. I love that banana car sooooo much!
Tex!
Super funny! I love it! How true that us Earnhardt fans stole money from TS...NO way do I need a deal at HD for lumber! I get hives everytime I go in that place! They can race half-a-car...(Pretty sure Tony is good enough to drive it anyway!) LOL!
Forensic, I was looking for a 90s truck that i saw once on Ebay or somewhere that had the 8 on side and the 3 shceme on the ohter. would have been great for you, but i cant find it.
CCR your Batmobile actually is probably the closest thing here to a real NASCA ride. lol
Cuda - Dont feel bad at least yours made it intact on here. I did one with lots and lots of numbers and it lock up for about 2 minutes loading , AND when I saw it the numbers were all over each other and had to delete it.
Im am glad yours made it one here cause I think it brought alot of smiles to everyone.
So I see and hear Tez is having the BBQ this weekend ?
Thank you for thinking about the Dale and Dale.
Cheers !!!!

Not a big NASCAR guy. Okay, not a NASCAR guy at all, but this was extremely well done. Not too sure what made me stop by and read this, but the time spent doing so was worth it.
Thats to bad about Photo and how NASCAR wouldn't let him run his car due to the shape and it being a family sport. But we gain a racing team and sponsors.
To the STEWARTS - Let it be known we made a deal money for free beer, in the small print it said 1 free six pack to every crew member at date of signning. They didnt have a crew at that time.
We also have loaned wood to Mudminnows for his car and now GGW racing has a 3 car team.
We have sent Mudmine to try and get Hootfoot on board with free beer & bananas to bring us up to a 4 car team.
If hootfoot turns down our deal, we will have to go back to the table with Tez and see if he will race full season and not just the road cousres.
If it wasn't for Texascudaguy you would never have found out about all of this. So thank him again.
cheers
Man am I glad I found this.. (although I don't know how I got here). No I haven't been drinkin'.. I really needed a good laugh tonight, I just saw my husbands truck at another womans house... dammn!! Thanks for the laughs!1
JayJay. you will have a big advantage on the straightaways though. You will be entering turn one of the next lap before your even out of turn 4. Could help a lot when the caution flies
forensic. I had major issues trying to get it too load even after splitting it in half. Was dissapointes when i tried to add my usual Mike Smith cartoon and it would scramble the whole blog. Must be a Fox thing.
Ricko. Stop by more often. I wanted to add some regular non-nascar bloggers to the list, but decided it would cut into my beer time.
This is classic writing and imagination. How in the heck did you come up with the pics to match the bloggers. Trully a great laugh a minute..
Gorillas Gone Wild Racing Team.. Now that is an idea UMMM>>>

photo-- your's was easy. Not a shortage of #### in cars on the net.(Internet, a learning tool? Yeah right!)
Some required a little help form Yahoo search and Google, and a little creative thinking. Just don't expect that to be a habit from me...the creative thinking part. Someone might start to expect it all the time, and be severely dissapointed.. LOL
cool thanks cuda i think the cot shouid be my avatar can you say noarrow dynamic btw 400++hp sbc in a ford it plays heck with the tech guys at the super chevy show best pass at a mile high 12.95 @ 107 no posi the hump in the middle below the side pipes is the motor can you say midship

Cuda - I thought about brake pads, but the truck pads won't fit, I knew she would have plenty of shoes. So I had to go with what we had. plus who needs brakes at DAYTONA.
Hootfoot - What you dont like beer and bananas ? So is that a no or yes ?
If it is a no, we got to try and get Tez'z banned lifted on ovals.
Do you really think Home Depot would have enough lumber for the Jr. fans to finish their COT design? lol Might need to get them their own forest and lumber mill.
never fear, Forensic, for photo and I are teaming up. He's doing Atlantic while I'm going rallying....it's all about stress-testing those GGW engines before we make a run on the Cup series :P
Forensic - Better get Hottiefoot under contract soon. Tez is working on a deal to get her and the the Tazmanian Devil(fastest 2 pair of feet in racing) as Chief members of his team.
tsfanpc- It was your team(Stewart Fans) that only had half a car.
We are also still in negotiations with Taz since whenever we need a yellow he can help Lori to create a smokescreen that makes the officals think someone has blown an engine....it's all about gaining every little advantage you can get :P
If we can't get him, we will open up talks with roadrunner for the same reason.
Falcon. That Marlin is a pretty rare car these days. Not that disimilar to a 67-69 Barracuda either.
I couldn't find a pic o####uy beating the bleep out of a USC car, LOL,
so I settled on the Marlin for ya. Glad you enjoyed.
Did you and Lisa kiss and make up yet? There are rumors you too are merging teams, with Lisa adding a Flux Capacitor to the design, and using Iowa's corn cars for fuel.
Hottiefoot with an Aussy accent?
hmmm.. Might have to get an exclusive interview with her.
Tez--- You stay away from Roadrunner! He's a Mopar...guy.. LOL Your team is out of control. Trying for total dominance. Did you u work for Hendricks for a spell?
lol, I know very well that RR is associated with Mopar....my neighbour owns a Superbird. He's a big Dodge fan actually. He's also got a Ram and a Challenger....you'd get on great with him, lol
As for HMS....you know what they say; if ya can't beat 'em, copy off 'em :P
