Jun 21, 2007 | 4:45AM | report this

The Stl. Rams have the best QB, RB, & WR combination in the NFC.

Last year Mark Bulger threw for 4,301 yds. 117 less than Drew Brees the league leader. RB Steven Jackson ran for 1528 yds thats 471 yds more than Deuce McAllister. Steven Jackson also had 806 yds recieving thats 608 more yds than Deuce. Torry Holt had a down year and amassed 1188 yds 150 more yds  than rookie sensation Marqus Colston.

New Orleans had one good year.Stl. has been consistantly putting up big numbers for years.

With WR'S Isaac Bruce ,Dane Looker, and the addittion of Drew Bennett TE Randy McMichael RB Travis Minor ,Brian Leonard and Dante Hall returning punts.

The STL. Rams will have from top to bottom the most dangerous offense in the NFC.

youre 100 percent correct. I hate how people say the 49ers are going to take the division....I think they will be better and two seasons later they will be a force to be reckond with. But for now look for st louis in the nfc championship game.....(vs - bears, saints, or panthers maybe)

Tory Holt is incredible, but Shaun Alexander is better than Steven Jackson, and Hasselbeck and Bulger are about equal on talent.

My point being, the Seahawks still win the West.

I love Shaun Alexander but he is getting old and has a foot injury that wont heal, no way is he better at this point in his career than SJ.

Seattle is on the decline RB's don't get better with age.Seattle beat the RAMS twice last year with two miracle field goals. With all the weapons the Rams have this year I don't think Seattle can keep up, even though they have a better defense than the Rams.

The Ram's offensive is just sick. If they get some defense they will contend for the chip. As it is now, they should win their division

Not only does Seattle not win the West, If Arizona gets it pulled together they might finish dead last.

I hate to do this but couldn't resist.......Are you telling me T.O. isn't the best receiver, I guess you don't mean in their own mind......
sorry I couldn't resist...I do think the Seattle defence advantage will give them one more chance, maybe for the NFC title if they can fix porkchop, or get someone to fill that left guard position..

Owens is a very skilled WR .This blog is about the best QB,RB,&WR combination on the same team in the NFC.

I do beleive the Cowboys deserve some consideration here as the best combo and the best offense in the NFC. Between the two teams. If the Cowboys are able to fix their one big flaw (namely Roy Williams getting beat downfield) then they are easily the most complete team in the NFC.

You really think Romo is a elite quarter back based on what? His first five games. Who is your running back? Dallas can't be mentioned in this category Saints or close not Dallas not yet.

Dallas has a two headed monster at RB with Jones and Barber who together are just as good as SJAX. They should be better this year because Jones sounds enthusiastic about the offense.

I'll give you that T.Holt is the best WR from the two teams but right behind him are T.O., T. Glenn, and Crayton. The Rams have McMichael but the Cowboys have Whitten and Fasano.

Everybody wants to write Romo off because of one botched snap? Give me a break. They were on the brink of the NFC title game already as far as Bulger has taken his team.

YOU TRUELY THINK JONES+Barber= Steven Jackson.

Seriously?

Question,

Did you forget first ballot Hall Of Fame WR Isaac Bruce ?

Hey if Romo has a good season I will be the first to give hime credit.

Mark Bulger is the most underrated QB in the leauge.
let me say this again. Mark Bulger is the most underrated QB in the leauge. If Mark played for the Patriots they would have one more ring.

What about Bruce? Between the two teams I rank WR's:

1. Holt
2. T.O.
3. Glenn
4. Crayton
5. Bennett
6. Bruce

during the season romo averaged similar stats as bulger. i am not saying he would have the same stats had he played the whole season. but put him on the rams and playing the c-hawks, cardinals, and 49ers twice each and i like his chances. T.O. wasnt as good as holt last year but he was injured most of the season. also the same with jones and barber let them play in the west, different story.

look romo stats might have been up there with bulger (no way, you should never drink the bong water) because his defense gave him the ball to play with alot more frequent than the rams. Marc Bulger is a million times better than romo, romo only went to the pro bowl because he plays for the calfgirls.

Uh wtf.......wtf is the only name that fits you...after your comments anybody who knows football is like, wtf?

First off, we played the bears last year Nfc Champs we play seattle twice the nfc champs the year before. We play you guys again this year. T.O. was injured huh? Torry Holt has had a knee injury that has been bothering him badly since 2004 season, this offseason he got knee surgury and has been said to be taking the offseason even more seriously. T.O. is real good, but torry holt is just plain out better. Torry Holt has the best hands in the nfl, hands down. not even an argument. someone who's bad year led one of the deadliest offenses in recieving, to the drama queen that had the mossed dropped passes. did you see how scared t.o. was when he played the eagles and lossed? he was scared, he had a clean pass thrown his way, and dropped it because he heard footsteps (jeremiah trotter) thats something torry would have never done. and this is an argument? what the f***

So you lost to the bears last years nfc champs. and you lost to the nfc champs the year before twice the first time with shawn alexander hurt and the second time with shawn and matt hasselbeck out. look i could care less who you lost to. oh did you know the calfgirls handed the super bowl champs their first loss of the season. did you see my post where i said i dont think romo would have the stats of Booger or that T.O wasnt as good as Holt. read first.........WTF?

haha booger, haha. youre comment was ignorant. there is no way dallas is better or plays in a better division and thats why they dont have as good as chance. If the texans would play in green bays division, they would take it. but they dont, so whats the use of giving these athletes an excuse for their sorry play....NONE. thats life, some poeple were born into rich parents, some parents hand their kids a buisiness some kids have to struggle their whole life and have everything stolen, so what?!? man up!

I attacked not nessecarily you, but the whole dallas fan base. They are the most ignorant people to ever deal with. probably because nothing ever happens in that whole of a state. But the thing is they were dealt that hand, and if their division is better, than they should produce the nfc champions or superbowl champions year after year. Youre only as good as your opponent, practice makes better, if you play against high school level teams, you will not have a chance at beating the ravens, bears, colts, patriots.....etc. Now their team isnt horrible, but their offense is nowhere near the level of the st louis rams offense. But some teams match up well with others and some dont. I dont think beating the colts meant anything, at all. nobody remembers things like that, they remember champions. so lets move on...no more excuses, they are professionals.

pf, there is no way shaun alexander better than steven jackson. shaun alexander in his best days is slightly better than steven jackson now. Steven jacksons better days are ahead oh him, seattle doesnt win the division no way....that was dumb, the nfc west has already been decided. st louis wins, second third and last place hasnt been decided. thats all up to you guys. I doubt 49ers and cardinals will do good considering our HELLA TOUGH schedule. The Rams and Seattle are the only teams tough enough mentally to have a good record, but seattle will lose twice to the rams, we have your number. we are pulling your card homie. YOURE DONE!! the greatest show on turf, just remember that

like i said before i think the rams could have the best qb,rb wr combo, but like YOU (24)stated above the cowboys do have a better defense. also i think our team had more success last year and got better this year, yet to be seen. I still cant figure how you think your division is better we had three in the playoffs you had one. the team with a winning record against other teams in your division was the cardinals and they suck balls.

24LA7holt81jackson39
Jun 27, 2007

No. they have a descent division. Neither is better. youre teams played to their potential. Cardinals never played to their potential. 49ers cant play to their potential due to the development they need. The seahawks bearly beat us, both times (sounds dumb, but its the truth) my defense even last year, had enough talent to put us in the playoffs. We had two injuries to the offensive line (orlando pace andy mccollum) still, our offense is a hundred times better than any offense in your division. the only good teams in your division are the eagles and cowboys. even then the cowboys are over rated. terrell owens does a great amount for you guys without even touching the ball. presence alone, does enough to open up holes for your weak rb's. and the eagles didnt have mcnabb the whole season. due to the lack of talent on the nfc, your team produced three wild card teams. so what we were only a game aways from making it. this season you guys might have one team to make it. eli manning is just as good as rex grossman. he looks like he plays for the opposite team more times than he looks like he plays for his own.

rams are better than any team in your division, the seahawks beat you guys last season, and are about hand in hand with the eagles. the 49ers are better than the redskins and might be better than the giants, who knows. the giants and redskins are both better than the cardinals, but the cardinals have larry fitzgerald matt leinhart and edge, they got a couple of d'bs that are pretty descent, so I would say they are hand in hand. Maybe your division was better last year, but like i said the rams were a game away, and we would have produced two team and you guys would have produced two. they are about even. I dont know.

.......said the rams fan. like i said before it doesnt matter who you lose to even tough the c-hawk barely beat you (without their best players)
the cardinals gift wrapped that win when warner fumbled, all they had to do is run the clock and kick the field goal. lets review rams vs panthers 0 points booger 142 yards 0 tds 1 int jackson 27 rushing yards. dallas vs panthers 35 points
romo 247 yards 1 td 1 int jones92 yards 1 td barber 49 yards 2 tds
TO even outgained holt 107-68. you are right i dont know #### but i know #### when i see it and it plays in st louis. sorry i tried to be nice about it but no matter how you look at it the rams have an incomplete team there offfense isnt so much better than everyone else like it was during the super bowl run.

#### had five interceptions more than bulger did, with 13, bulger had 8. #### also played about five or six games less. had five interceptions more as well and was the reason why they ended their playoff run. jackson had 1528 yards on the ground and 806 recievng julius jones had 1084 rushing and 142 recieving marion barber had 654 and 196 recieving.
jackson had a total of 2334 yards, both your rbs had a total of 2160. haha
T.O. had 85 receptions 1180 yards 13 tds longest reception was for 56 yards.
Torry Holt had 92 receptions for 1188 yards 10 td's longest reception was for 67 yards wich was a touchdown and a highlight third best catch of the year. similar stats except, torry holt had a knee injury since 2004 that finally had surgery on and was considered to have a bad year. remind yiou bulger didnt have the same time he normally has because of two linemen out for the year, our center was out on game one....
