A response to Quinn comes up short again in big game

What is this guy and the rest of AMERICA on?I would like to try some. Brady QUINN is not even a top 10 college QB this year. Any JOE SMOE with a brain can have the career he has had playing 8 games a year agianst teams with dredfull defenses. How exactly has he restored the IRiSH back to respectability? They have lost 9 bowl games in a row, how respectable is that...And to beat it all they get every break the NCAA can give them without actually making it BLINDINGLY obvious they are helping them. The BCS is rigged to get them in a top 4 bowl every year, and they are the only school who is allowed to have their own network contract. Of course this is made really easy to accomplish just by simply not affiliating itself with a CONFERENCE...

Brady Quinn is average and the Fighting IRISH of Notre DAME are finally being exposed as the frauds they are... It won't be long till teams in legit conferences realize that if they simply say NO to the Irish wanting to play them during the season, the IRISH will go away or join the big east. It would be hard for the NCAA to help the Wounded IRISH get to these big bowls with no quality opponents on thier schedule. They are in the big east in every sport they play except football... Time for that to change and for THE MEDIA MACHINE to stop feeding us this #### as if we are to STUPID to see what is really happeneing.

  Ok its not like anyone from NASCAR will ever read this muchless take it seriously, but still I would hate to see the growth of the sport start a decline due to some very big developments I'm talking about the integrity of the sport. I have noticed over the past few years.  When 43 guys start the pace laps to take the green I want to know its in the drivers hands and they all have an equal shot. Its getting to where its just not that simple anymore. When was the last time a LOWES CAR didn't win at LOWES Motor Speedway? Let me tell ya Tony Stewart was the last to win back in the GM quality 500 in 03..Yep Mr. Johnson has won all 5 of the other nascar starts at the track in the last 3 years. Even the Busch series Lowes car has a 2 year run going at the tracks Carquest AUTO 300 spring race. I know it would be hard to rig a race but man that just doesn't seem right to me.  Now throw in the "Cheating" Crew chief and take a look at it...HMMM... Now if NASCAR wants to put a stop to the "Are they turning and looking the other way so some teams get an advantage" tag they should be getting with this they should A) send the whole team home if caught at anytime with an illegally set-up car from the time the car is pulled out of the trailer till it goes back in. And B) DO IT STARTING NOW.  Which is more important the FANS or the Sponsors. You have to decide. If Jimmie Johnson wins the Coca Cola 600 this year ...forget about it. He can't win  5 events in a row at a single track! Can he? Would ya think he cheated...HMMM

 So suggestion number one. Do not tolerate cheating, bending the rules, or anything that is deemed illegal.

 For my second suggestion I wanna see a DRIVER deemed being to aggressive to be actually penalized. Forget the end of the longest line that ain't gonna cut it. No pass though either, Take a lap is the right thing to do. Putting the guy a lap down should get the point across we will not tolerate that type of driving.  He still has a chance at the lucky dog so its not like he still is out of the race.  Once again it looks su####ious why NASCAR allowed Mr. Stewart to take out 3 contenders(if you count him) and just suffer a run from the rear to finish 5th...Harsh penalty Nascar for the guy that made your sport look SO DANGEROUS all week in the media then turns into the DANGER on Sunday.

 And finally a Compliment. I love the TRUCKS. The Truck Series is very underrated. Come on NASCAR wake up and smell the money. Turn the trucks into the LEGENDS series. Make the drivers have 10 years of cup under their belt before they can drive a truck.  I mean who wouldn't want to see Sterling, DW, DJ, Mark, Rusty, Craven, and the older boys beating each others doors in the truck series. Be like an all star race 26 weeks a year.

So is NHL Hockey back and better than ever? I for one think so, I mean I have not really followed the NHL for many years. I for one as a fan didn't understand all the rules and got bored rather quickly with the lack of scoring and slow pace of most games. So I really only payed attention come playoff time. Then comes the new NHL. They removed a few of the silly rules that really held the speed of the game down, and made it alot more competitive with the cap. Now I can't get enough. In the past NCAA basketball would trump a NHL regular season game everytime, NOT anymore. NHL you get an A+ for your efforts to make your sport better, NOW if only the NBA and MLB would follow suit.
