May I advise you to not watch another Seahawks game

I was reading a local paper again, and this happened about 6 hours from here, there was an 8th grader Rodney Torelli Now a senior, that went to middle school or a jr. high, he was never soppose to walk again after having his legs crushed in a terrible car accident when he was three, we wanted to sign up for the basketball team, they were kind of hesitint about it. " I was scared to death about letting him play" said his mother said. Well that year little Rodney didnt play, but he was bound determined he was going to be able to play basketball, the day after his mom told him it wasnt a good Idea, He got out of his chair but fell over, his mom came home to rodney laying on the floor struggling to get up. " oh my gosh what are you doing rodney" is what she said, rodney looked at her with tears and his eyes and said " Im going to be able to play mom, I will walk again" His mom spent the entire night laying down in bed weeping knowing her son wouldnt walk again " I thought I had to do something to helpo my son, I could tell he wanted it" A week or so later she took her son to the doctor, the doctor once again said theres nothing he could do, "it seemed hopeless to me, I never thought this would happen" well his mother soon relized she was spending more and more time picking Rodney off the floor, " I thought it was weird but I wanted my son to walk more then anything in the world so i thought I would start from the basics of walking again" Well that she did and over time he gradually started picking up differnt things that he hadnt done before, well over time he did learn how to walk, by his sophmore year in high school, he signed up for the basketball team, he went through three days of strenous try-outs, only at the end to be cut, yes he went home crying, he was hurt, all that work for nothing some people would think, thats not what he thought though, " I may have been cut from the basketball team, but I won no matter what, because i ver came what everyone said and I did learn how to walk again" I posted this because this is something you dont see just everyday, this kid had a goal and reached for it, i hope this inspires you to help someone who may have a sort of handicap, you just isnt sure about them selfs. Nothing is impossible if you just try, thank you for taking time to read this blog.

Well, the NFL season is over but i have noticed a few things about NFL fans that really grinds my gears. So im going to explain to you why I have a top 3 bad fan list and a top 3 good fan list if you dont agree or would like to argue please leave me a comment.

BAD:

3. Cinncinati Bengals: My friend has a cousin who lives in cinci, he asked last year if he liked the Bengals, he responded " NO, the Bengals suck!" This year however he turned out to be sporting all Bengal gear. I have noticed it other places to, like the mall, school, and various other places. This is a bunch of #### if you ask me.

2. Seattle Seahawks: They call themselves the 12th man, but really they are the #1 whinners, you lost the Super Bowl..BooHoo you were lucky to get there, you will get another shot considering your in the worst divison in the league.

1.) New York Jets: You have more fans killed at your games then anything else, for example " WHAT YOU DONT LIKE THE SAME TEAM AS ME!!!" *SLASH* No wonder the Giants are getting a new stadium, congrations Jet fans you are the worst fans in the NFL.

Best:

3.)Miami Dolphins: They continue to have bad seasons after bad seasons, yet they pack there stadium every game, and they never complain, and they tend to get jipped because there running back has a massive obsession with weed.

2.) Washington Redskins: Fed Ex Feild, Hogettes, Joe Gibbs, A Defense. The only bad thing about this franchise..Mark Burnell

1.) Green Bay Packers: Lambeau Feild..Brett Favre,Vince Lambardi,Reggie White, Bart Starr, The list goes on. The fans are always packing the stadium, even with a losing record of 4-12, they packed the stands in the blistering cold, and cheered for a team that had no chance at making the playoffs, when it comes down to it record dont matter in the smallest city with an NFL team, they just want to watch there team the Green Bay Packers.  Yes Packer fans, you have earned the right to say your the best and most loyal fans in the NFL.

Well its months away but hey why not get excited, because lets face it nothing exciting happens in the NBA unless theres a new dress code, fans getting punched in the face, and people getting slapped down with thousand dollar fines..oh lets not forget rap cd's for Ron Artest. Well if you havent figured out by the title im going to tell you my predictions for the final NBA standings, and at the bottom I will list the teams I feel will be in the playoffs and give reasons for that as well. EASTERN CONFERENCE

Atlantic Divison:

1.) New Jersey Nets: The Nets are playing very very good basketball as of late, winning 4 of there last 5 games, there only loss to the Spurs. Vince Carter, and Jason Kidd Finally are connecting and playing together. Dont be surprised if you see the Nets late in the playoffs.

2.) Philadelpha 76ers:  The 76ers have been playing up and down all year, and amazingly still have a chance at a playoff spot, this is very acheivable with Korver, Iverson, Iguodola, and Webber. This team has great potential if they could run with it. I personally dont think they will, and they will not win the Atlantic Conference, sorry to say they come in 2nd by at least 6 games.

3.) Toronto Raptors: Trading Vince Carter was the worst thing this team could have done. I know its been a while, but I think if you have him and Bosh, the Raptors are making a serious run to win this divison, honestly this divison doesnt have a lot of talent.

4.) Boston Celtics: This Tean is the best bad team in the league in my opinon. This teams only two flaws are 1. Their only player is Paul Peirce, and 2. They cant finish in a big situation. If somehow and someway this team did make the playoffs...bring out the brooms, they will make an early exit.

5.) New York Knicks: This team put all the marbles in when they got Larry Brown, well going along with the Knicks luck..they thought they had a good thing, I mean they were tied for the divisonal lead after the 1st game..keep on tugging along New York, maybe you will return to glory one day ( or a winning record).

Central Divison:

1.) Detroit Pistons: Im proud to say I only live 2 and a half hours away from Ann Arbor, well This team is something else, being compared to the Chicago Bulls of old..Thats an acomplishment, the record speaks for itself this team loses 15 games, and earns a number 1 seed in the playoffs.

2.)Cleavland Cav's: WOW, Labron might have accomplished his goal, turning a struggling team into a contender, I think if the Cav's were in ANY divison other then the Central or the Southwest, They would win the divison, I look for them to upset one of the higher seeds come playoff time.

3.) Milwaukee Bucks: Milwaukee??? They still have a basketball team? well start remembering you might be seeing them come playoff time, they really are not playing bad basketball right now, and there record is one of the better ones for the 4th place ranking right now..dont look away yet!

4.) Indiana Pacers: Ron Artest Gone to the West Coast..Indiana has to much "other stuff" going on to compete I think they will fall short, maybe finishing 10th or 11th in the final conference rankings.

5.) Chicago Bulls: The Bulls roster isnt bad, they just cant seem to win games, actually it was a toss up for last place. I think the Pacers have biger play makers and thats why the Bulls will take last place again.. A few more years or maybe next year, and the Bulls might be competing for at least 3rd or 2nd place in the divison.

Southeast Divison:

1.) Washington Wizards: Miami who? I picked the Wizards for a few reasons, they play with heart, they hustle for every lose ball..and they are riding on win streaks, there wins come in huge chunks, I think they get enough wins to steal the conference from Wade and the Heat.

2.) Miami Heat: Wade, O'neil, Morning, Haslem, well a team that was dominate last year is proven to be a little weaker then imagined, now that the Heat have a little competition, I see them folding in the last few weeks of the NBA season while the Wizards get on a big win streak.

3.) Orlando Magic: In every other conference probally a 5 ranking, but not in this one, the last three teams in this divison are fairly weak, but yea, im not going to go into much depth with these next few teams, because they wont have much impact unless they get a couple big upsets in the last few weeks of the season.

4.) Charlotte Bobcats: Dont look now, but the Charlotte Bobcats are not a bad basketball team, yet they are very young and inexperienced, they show great potential and when they become more mature..yes they will be winning there share of divison titles, it all comes in time my friends.

5.) Atlanta Hawks: Well this team has nothing going for them as of late, accept there jerseys, at least they look good sucking. The future is not even looking good for the ATL. I guess you should just stick to producing rap singers, b.c your surely not getting any type of basketball out of it.

 

WESTERN CONFERENCE

Southwest Divison:

1.) Dallas Mavericks: Leagues top 10 scorer (Dirk) and an owner who gets into peoples heads, your bound to take first place in your divison, I dont think the Spurs stay hot the rest of the year. Mav's win the divison by 4 games

2.) San Antonio Spurs: Your former Champions, I dont think the Spurs have what it takes to beat the Mavericks, They Will find themsleves with a big injury, Maybe to Tim Duncan, I feel this coming on, when it does, its going to be all Mavericks In the Southwest

3.) Houston Rockets: Call me crazy I think the Houston Rockets make a big come back in the standings now that Yao, and Mcgrady are both healthy at the same time, The Rockets will get back to there winning ways but wind up just short of a playoff spot.

4.)Oklahoma City/ New Orleans Hornets: This is a good team especially after going through Hurricane Katrina, I appuald this team for there effort, not having a home court, but still finishing with a winning record. This team is playing for something, a little something I like to call pride and honor, unlike most teams in the NBA who just look for a paycheck

5.) Memphis Grizzles: Finishing last in this divisonal powerhouse is equal to finishing third or maybe even 2nd in some of these other divison, i predict at seasons end not one team in this divison has a losing record, not even the grizzles.

Northwest Divison:

1.) Utah Jazz: Credit to The Jazz they had been struggling and they have turned there season around thanks to Kenyon Martin, They will win there Divison, giving them a great seeding in the playoffs, maybe a chance to go deep into the playoffs, without names like Karl Malone, and Jon Stockton.

2.) Denver Nuggets: Well between Carmelo complaining about whos in the All-Star game, and Kenyon Martins swearing problem..the Denver Nuggets will finish 2nd and luckly still get a playoff spot, I think they will make an early exit though.

3.) Minnasota T-Wolves: Not the type of season they were hoping for, mainly hoping for a 8th seed, but thats not looking to promising unless they go on a HUGE win streak and one of the teams in the Southwest decided they know how to lose.

4.) Seattle Supersonics: Last year they were great, this year they're a joke. I think there is to many side distractions in Seattle, or maybe they can be like the Seahawk fans and blame the season on the refs.

5.)Portland Trail Blazers: I have nothing to say about this team other then they have no talent, this team couldnt  win a basketball game if they had Chuck Norris.

 

Pacific Divison:

1.) Pheonix Suns: This team has talent, I have strong feelings that you might be seeing them in the NBA finals this year, The past couple years they have made serious runs, maybe this will be there year.

2.) L.A Clippers: This team can do it all on offense, hit the three, mid range jump shot, and dunk. They were looked down apawn many years because the L.A Lakers were so good, but the past few years the well known profile for the Lakers has been deminishing. They will finish in a 2nd maybe forcing a 4 seed vs 5 seed match up against the Lakers. :)

3.) L.A Lakers: Kobe Scoring 81 points every game is paying off, why dont u just make the whole he dont play defense he only shoots. Thats why the lakers get a 5 seed in the playoffs and get beat by the Clippers.

4.)Sacramento Kings: Yea you have Ron Artest you waited to long tho, you miss the playoffs by a long shot, you will be there next year tho, as long as Ron dont miss practice to make a cd.

5.)Golden State Warriors: Speaks for itself....

Rumors have been going around about Sammy Sosa retiring, Im thinking this might be a good idea in Sosas' part. Dealing with all steroid alligations, corked bats, and going from team to team the past few years. Im not a big cubs fan, but i can tell you that they are all laughing deep down in side. Sosa was a big inspiration and role models for kids for many years, and was looking to be in the hall of fame, now all of that has changed, he is hated by most basball fans, laughing stock of the league, and washed up, incase  you havent noticed sosa has dropped in every statistic possible accept in strike outs, Im thinking that "Slammin Sammy" should slam the door on his career before his career is completely deminished.
