Stamps--How comfortable Carl and the Ancient Mariner will be together remains to be seen, based on the Boston episode and the fact that I'm not at all sure that the FO even asked Jamie how he felt about the signing. What's this about Big Sexy and Sirius radio? What did I miss?
I think there definitely need to be incentives for NFLers to keep playing to the end of the season. The one about putting a monetary reward on games is good.
Re: Randy Moss. He has been incredibly well behaved here in Oakland. When he scores a touchdown, the celebration is with class. I think his reputation is being repaired slowly but surely.
That being said, since you were trying to be funny perhaps Terrell Owens for Ron Artest would ring more true.
One thing I will say is that the difference between Owens and Moss these days is that Terrell kept mouthing off in the media while Randy kept quiet.
I thought of TO for Artest but I'd already done a TO bit in an earlier post. And I thought I had heard that Randy Moss was good at basketball or interested in playing it while Artest seemed suited for football. But, yeah, trying to be funny...

In grade school, I once received a "D" in both Art and Music despite the local convention that "C" should be the lowest grade in those subjects. I never lettered in high school sports. I flunked the Bar Exam the first time I took it. Over 6,000 runners beat me in the 1980 New York Marathon. I was rejected by the television show Survivor. So I must be good at sportswriting . My wife and three children are sure going to be surprised.
