For my RBs I have Lawrence Maroney (NE), Sammy Morris (NE), and K. Jones (Det). Given Maroney's ? status do I start Morris and Jones (who will probably still be relegated to the red zone) or since NE plays the Clev Clowns do I start both NE backs?
Also for my 3rd WR should I start Colston, McDonald, Jennings (GB), or A. Davis. Colston is the better receiver but given the passing defenses each receiver faces this week, and NOs troubles on offense, I am leaning towards Davis or Jennings.
Lastly is it worth trading TO for Steve Smith given the QB issue in Carolina? Smith isn't the receiver he was last year yet but is the only star on their offense while TO has to share receptions in Dallas.
Any help here would be appreciated.

who should i start Sammy Morris, Brandon Jacobs. Or should I trade Jacobs for Cedric Benson or put in Dallas Clark. I really need help as I go up against a huge team that I need to beat.
with andre johnson out i picked up andre davis...for some reason he's not projected to score any fantasy points, why is this? if not davis should i start crayt0n or roddy white instead?
I'm relatively new to fantasy so I need an opinion. Does starting a running back and a defense when they're playing each other make sense? Or would they essentially cancel each other out? Here's my problem.
I have Ronnie Brown, Reggie Bush and Houston's and Detroit's defense. After Brown's performance last week, I want to start him over Reggie Bush since Bush hasn't gotten many points this season. I would also like to use Houston's defense even though Detroit's got me 25 fantasy points last week. The reason for this is because I believe Houston will force some turnovers on an otherwise lame Miami offense.
So, which of these combos makes the most sense?
1. Ronnie Brown and Houston's defense
2. Ronnie Brown and Detroit's defense
3. Reggie Bush and Houston's defense
My Roster
QB Rivers, Schaub RB E.James Bush, Foster Taylor G. Jones WR Housh. A. Johnson McDonald Jones GB Engram TE King Heap K Gould Rackers DST ARI & SD
I was Offered a trade McNabb Welker for Housh. and
River shpuld I do it am thinking no but would like some ones input on it thank you
I have a flex position available; should I start Kevin Jones or Jerricho Cotchery? Also,I have Favre,Pennington,Hasslebeck, and Rivers; should I drop Rivers or Pennington?
I just want to know what you think of my team...
I traded this week Roddy White & L.Johnson for T.O. & Sammy Morris. My starting lineup is:
Romo-L.T.-Edge-M.Colston-T.O.-O.Dan iels-(w/r)S.Morris-(w/t)S.Holmes-M. Crosby(k)- Green Bay
On the Bench I have:
Big Ben-K.Keith-K.Jones-G.Jennings-A.Bo ldin-K.Winslow-Indy
Just curious what you think. About playing Keith instead of S.Morris and if you would pick up B.Marshall and drop Jennings. Also if Colston doesn't produce this week, would you drop him or wait another week? Thanks much!

I am 0-4 this season. My league plays 2/3 RBs and 2/3 WRs format. My QB is Brady. My RBs are Gore, L.Johnson,D.Foster,C.Taylor. My WRs are M.Colston,V.Jackson,S.Holmes,W. Welker I need to win some games. Do I need to add/drop some players ? I thought the roster looked pretty good, but I just can't get the right lineup.
I have B. Berrian, V. Jackson, and B. Engram...Which 2 should I start...and how about T. Jones (NY Jets) or Lendale White...Jones has been a real let down till this point. Help a brotha out...
I have J. Addai(Ind-RB), D. Foster(Car-RB), and C. Portis (Was-RB). 2 of which who are injured. I also have A. Boldin(Ari-WR) injured do I drop one of them and add someone else or sacriffice this fantasy week and hold on to them?
i have Shaun Alexander and Marshawn #### and dont know which to start. Alexander is on your do not bench list but on your rankings he's lower than ####. who do i start?
For this week 5, my available WR's are M.Colston (vs CAR), J.Cotchery (@ NYG) and D.Bowe (vs JAX). I have my RB spot set, L.Tomlinson and at my R/W spot I have Ronnie Brown. My question is, which two WR's should I start? Or, should I start all three and sit R.Brown?

I am thinking of picking up Ricky Williams for the later weeks. Am I high, or is this a good thought? That was a joke. My real question is: which 3 Running Backs should I start out of (Sean Alexander, Frank Gore, Clinton Portis and Ronnie Brown)?

Curious which 2 RBs I should start given the injuries (which could slow them down) and the defenses they're playing?
1. Jamal Lewis 2. Clinton Portis 3. Kevin Jones 4. Narshawn ####
I drafted B.Jacobs but after his injury i picked up D.Ward, Now that Jacobs maybe coming back do i start Jacobs and bench Ward or Start them both. I also have S.Morris from the Pats he and Ward have been getting me some good FP What to do! What to do!
I have Jennings and Driver should I start both or leave one out and go with cotchery or b.marshall?
RR: Start Driver as he’s Green Bay’s top receiver. The Bears are struggling with injuries in the secondary and are vulnerable to Green Bay’s No. 2 passing attack led by the immeasurable Brett Favre. Make your second choice be Brandon Marshall. The Chargers secondary have reverted to their inconsistency of seasons past, making the pedestrian Damon Huard look like Tom Brady when he passed for 284 yards and two scores on the road against it. Javon Walker will miss his second straight game with a knee injury and won’t return until after Denver’s Week 6 bye at the earliest.
RR: Travis Henry insists that he’s going to play after practicing Friday. However, he had limited participation, not a full one. If Henry is inactive, start Young. He’s looked great in limited duty, averaging 9.2 yards per carry. Otherwise, Kevin Jones is the call as he will likely be the featured back. He could score on a goal-line chance. Owners desperate for a running back starter could look towards Young, even if he only serves as a backup to Henry on Sunday. Henry could re-injure his knee or ankle, paving the way for Young to be Denver’s featured back.
RR: If Maroney is active and starts, start both Maroney and Morris. They both will receive scoring chances. Jones will be getting more touches as he keeps improving with more time, but may not equal half the production of New England's backs facing the league's third-worst run defense in Cleveland. Even though Maroney and Morris would be sharing time, New England will still likely score twice as many touchdowns as Detroit.
Also for my 3rd WR should I start Colston, McDonald, Jennings (GB), or A. Davis. Colston is the better receiver but given the passing defenses each receiver faces this week, and NOs troubles on offense, I am leaning towards Davis or Jennings.
RR: I’d stick with Colston. He’s clearly the Saints’ top wideout and can take advantage of a weak Panthers secondary. Carolina has allowed the opposing’s top wideout to gain 100 yards in three of four contests and has yielded five touchdowns to the top wideout.
Lastly is it worth trading TO for Steve Smith given the QB issue in Carolina? Smith isn't the receiver he was last year yet but is the only star on their offense while TO has to share receptions in Dallas.
RR: I wouldn’t settle for less than a No. 1 fantasy receiver for Smith. Speaking of the two, I would trade Smith for Owens. Tony Romo is playing great, making Owens a top weekly start no matter the defense. If Carr remains the quarterback, he’ll have trouble against aggressive defenses like Arizona, Tennessee, Green Bay and San Francisco.
I have patrick crayyon and calvin johnson. who should I start?
RR: Start Crayton as he receives the edge after his stellar last game and better health. Plus, Johnson will be battling for catches with more receivers than Crayton.
with andre johnson out i picked up andre davis...for some reason he's not projected to score any fantasy points, why is this? if not davis should i start crayt0n or roddy white instead?
RR: Andre Johnson is out, so he's listed with zero points. Andre Davis is projected for five catches for 80 yards and a score and is ranked No. 13. Start him as he's currenlty Houston's No. 1 WR and will be facing a struggling Dolphins defense.
I'm having troubles choosing a #2 RB to start this week. I am at a cross between Willie Parker and Derrick Ward. I fear Parker will have a less than stellar game against a tough Seattle D, but Ward likely has to share duties now with Jacobs notably on the goal-line, lessening TD points for Ward. Should I start either of these two? Or should I approach another option?
I'm relatively new to fantasy so I need an opinion. Does starting a running back and a defense when they're playing each other make sense? Or would they essentially cancel each other out? Here's my problem.

So, which of these combos makes the most sense?
1. Ronnie Brown and Houston's defense
2. Ronnie Brown and Detroit's defense
3. Reggie Bush and Houston's defense
RR: I’d start both Bush and Brown if possible. Put one at the second running back and the third at the flex spot. Or trade one to strengthen your wideouts or quarterback. Letting a high draft pick or a top back reside on the bench every week and score zero points for your team does little good (unless your team is already strong and a trade won't help). If you can’t make a trade, then go with Bush and Houston’s defense. Bush should receive more touches and goal-line chances with Deuce McAllister out. If Ronnie Brown continues his recent torrid pace, he’ll be put on my “cannot bench” list. And if Bush continues to struggle, he becomes bench material. You may already have trouble trading Bush for equal value.
Houston's defense is the better play against Miami's turnover-prone Trent Green (He leads the NFL in interceptions with 7). As far as defense, on a weekly basis, you receive more points via turnovers and touchdowns scored from them than points allowed. A running back’s performance is independent of a fantasy defense in terms of yards gained. Only fumbles lost (which negatively affects a running back’s score little compared to his positive overall score) and scoring affect a fantasy defense. Usually, though, once a shutout is lost or more than a field goal is given up, few fantasy points are awarded of significance to points allowed. A running back and his opponent as your fantasy defense can still co-exist on your fantasy team and score many fantasy points for your team. Remember that special teams touchdowns often count for fantasy defenses, too. It’s more relevant to avoid starting a marginal fantasy quarterback facing your fantasy defense. It’s also fine to start a top fantasy quarterback facing a top fantasy defense of yours. Both could still score well.
My Roster
QB Rivers, Schaub RB E.James Bush, Foster Taylor G. Jones WR Housh. A. Johnson McDonald Jones GB Engram TE King Heap K Gould Rackers DST ARI & SD
I was Offered a trade McNabb Welker for Housh. and
River shpuld I do it am thinking no but would like some ones input on it thank you
RR: Keep Houshmandzadeh, especially since your next best receiver, Andre Johnson, is battling an injury that could keep him out again in Week 6. I would release Jones for a third quarterback to give you another option for whoever has the best matchup. This week, Schaub has the advantage over Rivers. Both Jason Campbell and Derek Anderson are good pickups for a third quarterback. In addition, Rivers can still rebound from a disappointing season. At least you didn’t spend a high draft pick on Marc Bulger or Drew Brees.
I have pittman and ward. Which one should I start with westbrook on a bye?
RR: Brandon Jacobs was the Giants’ featured back before his injury, so it remains to be seen if he still will receive the majority of carries. Ward may only be used sparingly or the Giants could revert to the roles of Tiki Barber and Jacobs last year with Ward assuming Barber’s role. I’d go with Pittman as it’s expected he’ll share the workload with Earnest Graham.
Who should I start as my flex. Shaun Alexander, Selvin Young, or ernest graham? I have LT as my starter
RR: Alexander is a weekly start. If both strong safety Troy Polamalu and tackle Casey Hampton don’t play, that hurts the Steelers run defense significantly. They are listed as questionable and both missed practice Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Look for the Seahawks to stick to the run as much as possible and not abandon it with Shaun Alexander if those two are out.
I have Shaun Alexander and Marshawn #### and dont know which to start. Alexander is on your do not bench list but on your rankings he's lower than ####. who do i start?
RR: Stick with Alexander as he plays for a better offense and has a better chance to score multiple touchdowns or gain 100 yards on a weekly basis. He’s not worth the risk of benching even against a strong defense. My recommendation is to don’t sit the top backs who will likely finish among the stats leaders at the end of the season. With a few more good showings, #### could join Alexander on my "Cannot bench" list, no matter the foe. He's still only a rookie in his fifth game who has yet to rush for 100 yards.

RR: I'd go with Morris and Jacobs. Morris has produced even when Maroney has started, scoring in Weeks 2 and 3. Jacobs will still likely be the goal-line back, even sharing duties with Ward. That gives him the edge over Ward for now until we see what their roles develop into come gametime.
i have ron dayne and ladell betts on my team for flex spots. do you think i should hold on to them because of the injury histories regarding ahman green and clinton portis or are they just taking up space on my roster?
i have steven jackson, larence maroney, and i picked up keith from the colts and young from the broncos, ahmad green is available this week, its hard to wait untill game time at 4 to see whos playing, what should i do? i would really like to hold on to these back ups but i need starters.
