Check out this story. Doesn't sound like Sapp was happy in Silver and Black.

Ok, no one has responded.
Why not, peeps.

Warren Sapp reminds me of my older brother...big, bad and always pissed off.

I don't have the patience or the time to read the story, but I will post my opinion anyway because I am bored. Sapp beat Oakland in the Super Bowl and then got traded to them when they were going downhill shortly after the Gannon injury. For those of you who have forgetten, before the Gannon injury the Raiders had the best winning percentage in all of pro sports! Anyway; Sapp should be greatful to the Raiders for the payday and financial security the Raiders have provided him and his family for the rest their lives. Afterall who would be happy with six straight loosing seasons ask anyone in the Raider Nation.

So I guess there will be no Warren Sapp in a "Space Raiders" TV show on the NFL Network like that old goofy promo teased us with.

It's a shame that Sapp got caught up in the mediocrity of the current Raiders. You think he would have begged Gruden not to send him there since I am sure Gruden had some war stories. Let's face it, Sapp will go into the Hall as a Buc, there is no way he would honour Al Davis by going in as a Raider and inflating the value of the mediocre teams he was on.

There are worse teams Sapp could have been traded to, Arizona, Cinci, and the Jets spring to mind.

Sapp was happy enough to take the Raiders' money and run with it all the way to the bank. He knew what he was in for when he went there. It's not as if he hadn't been forewarned.

The Raiders are in still a state and will continue to be. And now with the advent of Javon Walker's latest stupidities what else ought one to expect ? Oh yeah everyone who's a fool would be expected to believe Javon's story. Even Jimminy Cricket.

justanotherfan - too true man. If you're going to be a Raider, and you sign up to be one, then you take the good with the bad...period.

When Sapp arrived in oakland, the damage was already done. Callahan tore that team apart before he was fired. Carreer ending injury's to Gannon and Rod Woodson left the team leaderless. Al made a huge mistake by hiring Norv Turner because they still lacked leadership. Moss never wanted to play for Oakland and he basically never did he only added to the woes of the team. Art Shell was a desperate attempt at stabilizing this team, and Shell's coaching utterly brought this team to it's knees. For Sapp to trash this orginization is thoughtless considering he came from a team that was a perrenial joke before Tony Dungee arrived. Any team that had to go through what this Raider team has gone through in the last 5 years would have some horror stories. Now that all the paychecks are cashed he wants to run his mouth? i think it's pretty classless.
