So, which doo do you prefer, nash's new cut, or the old greasy look? These pictures are in order: Nash's new doo(from the arizona republic website), doo when he first entered the league (nba.com), and his greasy doo(steve-nash.net). Which do you prefer?
I like being clean cut, so I hate the third, my pick would be the middle but I think he was like 21 or 22 there. You are right, his new doo makes him look like he is sick.
It'll take some getting used to, but I'll take the new one because it gives him less to do on the floor. I got tired of seeing Stevie sweep his hair back behind his ears after every play.

i like the new doo like mean mentioned...less work for nash...because long-sweaty hair gets sticky, my old hair was pretty long not as much as nash's but still then one day i was outside shooting and my face was full of sticky wet hair so i cut it..the question is can he get another mvp with shorter hair?
maybe he wouldn't have had the ball stripped from him in that Lakers Playoff game with the new doo, becuase he wouldn't have so much damn grease from his hair.
DPhyrst-thanks for stopping by and your comments
Bully23-thanks for your comments here and on the broncos post. I have also played with long and short hair and it is a lot better with the short hair, no doubt.
i'd vote for something between 2 and 3...3's too long, 2's too..._____(insert politically incorrect word here).
the buzz really does make it look like he's on chemo.
i never liked the long greasy look, especially the tucking behind the ear every 2 seconds....my friend jen will be pi$$ed when she sees the new do...that'll make me smile though.
Ram Pride I've got to go with Nash in the third frame. The first picture makes him look like Belsen concentration camp survivor.........with no disrespect meant to the survivors of that tragedy. It's been said that the women find him appealing and considering his track record who am I to argue. Elizabeth Hurley, Alyssa Milano and Gillian Barberie to name but a few have been charmed by Nash's coyness.
Ram - Sorry it took me awhile to get over here. I got pulled away while working on my USA basketball follow up post, then had to finish it last night.
This is a fun post. The latest edition is definitely cooler for the summer, but does look like it adds at least ten years to him. The vintage Santa Clara lockes are funny, and I definitely never cared for the long unkept mop. I was always bracing for him to whip out a skateboard on the break. Although the Rookie look was my favorite, I geuss I'm cool with the new doo. It's streamline and if you are going to be the coach on the floor, why not look like one!
Burger-no problem, I know you have a lot of work to maintain the BOTD two days in a row. Congrats. It will be interesting to see if he keeps the new doo through next season, vegas odds are saying probably not.
Smoke-Thinking about Sinead O'Connor first thing in the morning is NOT appreciated...lol.
I'd rather see Nash like I remember him with his hair longer. Being shaved does make him look older. The pic of when he joined the league aint bad and he could probably pull it off again.
By the Way:
The reason Steve Nash cut his hair is because he was getting spotted in public and being confused for the phoenix serial ####/killer.
I agree! How dare that white guy get his head shaved. Is it okie-dokey if some of us whities that have become hair-challenged not don a wig? Just asking 'cause this white guy is truly confused. Speaking of bad hair dos, does anyone remember the black guy Scottie Pippen and his attempt to shave the noggin? Looked like inverted corn rows. Speaking of who gives a #### on the color of one's skin and/or fig pouch, can't we all just pierce our nipples and become one homogenized race?
