Jake Plummer is 7-1 In his last 8 starts that he did NOT throw a TD pass? You gotta be kidding me. How does he have that good of a record? How dangerous does that make Denver if they actually had a solid QB? Why does he still have a job. Does his bootlegging really instill that much fear even if he can't throw a TD?

Will Marty finally break the curse? Seriously, every time he looks like he is in a position to beat Denver, something goes wrong... very wrong. Last year was the worst for them I think. Denver with really nothing to gain, waltzed into San Diego and beat them up.

Does LT get his 100th TD on Sunday night? He only needs 2 for it. He only averages 1 per game against Denver and is pretty much a lock for 99. But can he do it on the average he usually puts up there (53 yds)?

Will Oakland ever win another AFC West game? 11 straight losses. That's right 11. Not one AFC West win last year and 0 for 3 this year. For as good as the AFC West is, why do they suck so bad? Maybe Oakland would have been better suited in the NFC West, that's kind of a down confrence isn't it? Well Except Seattle, which was an AFC West team... Maybe they have a shot against KC... yea right.

Speaking of KC, is it smart to start Green after coming back from a concussion? Wouldn't it be wiser to ease him in first? Even as bad as Oakland is, their defense is no push over. Does Herm think this is a warm up game that no matter who he starts, he can't possibly lose?

And last, is the AFC West the best in the NFL? Seriously? Would current division leaders New England, Baltimore, or Indy survive this schedule (except Oakland, did I mention they suck)? It always seems rough for the AFC West teams because they beat each other up and it usually ends up keeping a very good team out of the playoffs.

Just some thoughts, I think I'll shut up now....

Is anyone more productive after coming off a season ending injury. For a player who blew out his knee, he does not seem to be feeling the effects of it. He has made a serious impact since his return and appears to be worth the money he is being paid. He does not even appear to be missing a step. His speed is still as dangerous as ever, and he is out playing DBs for the ball.

Currently he is on pace for about 80 Rec/1330 Yds/10 TDs. Is there anyone else out there that is currently up to par with that, which has made the kind of impact he has. He has deffinately allowed the Broncos to open up the field as we have seen the last 2 games, and is the most important player right now aside from Champ Bailey.

I really think that there is no one that can catch him here.

Colts: This is the team to beat. They seem to have shaken off the demons with New England and managed two strong wins on the road. Run defense is a MAJOR problem and if not fixed will spell doom for them in the playoffs. Now the only thing left is that gag reflex in Jan..... (Project #1 seed AFC South #1)

Patriots: Still a good team, but not nearly as good as years past. Depleated recieving corp makes Brady look jittery and uneasy about what is going on. The defense is mostly solid, but has a tendency to break at bad times. Running game has improved much, but lack of recieving weapons may hurt them in the end. (Project #3 seed AFC East #1)

Steelers:  Put a fork in 'em, they are officially done. I have to chalk this up to bad coaching decisions, bad front office decisions, and bad player off field decisions. They should have kept a few players they let go, should have started Charlie Batch instead of "Big" Ben, should have pulled Holmes before todays game. Maybe next year... (AFC North #3)

Broncos: Half of the passing defense still suspect against good QB/Recievers.  If quarterbacks would ever learn that they need to know where Bailey is and avoid that side of the field, it could be trouble for them. So far, Manning is the only QB to figure that out. Offense is still shaky. Plummer is still yet to prove himself in the playoffs. Unless he out duals Manning in Indy for the AFC championship game, Cutler will be the starter next year. (Projected #2 seed AFC West #1)

Ravens: Defense is good as usual, but are prone to what seem to be stupid mistakes. With the offense still suspect,they will be in trouble come the playoffs. Could be a 1 and done for them. They still seem to have yet to find an identity on that side of the ball. (Projected #4 seed AFC North #1)

####els: Defense is average, which would be fine except Palmer just does not look the same as last year. He seems to have lost something and it is not related to the knee injury. They are the only competition for Baltimore and looks like they will miss the playoffs. Unless Baltimore screws up, the Bengals will not make the playoffs. (AFC North #2)

Chargers: A very good team, however injuries and suspensions are likely to casue them some losses that will hurt. Defense is good, but the offense does struggle. If not for LT, they very well could have lost to a bad Browns team. The loss of Merriman showed today, and could very well lose the next 2 games to the Bengals and Broncos.  (Projected #5 Seed AFC West #2)

Browns: There are some bright spots in Cleveland, just not this year. Frye is starting to show he can do well. The gefense is still bad though. There are deffinately bad management issues at all levels here. Until that is solved, Cleveland is still in the dog house. (AFC North #4)

Jaguars: This is like Dr Jeckyl and Mr Hyde. They are a good team, problem is when the bad side shows. Maybe the QB change is good. Problem is that if they cannot stay as good as they showed they are, they will miss the playoffs. In the AFC 5 losses may not make the playoffs. They'll be fighting KC for the #6 spot in the playoffs. (AFC South #2)

Titans: They are in rebuilding mode, which seems to be coming along well. Look for them in a few years. (AFC South #3)

Dolphins: They are good, but as a team seem prone to mistakes. Bad mistakes. Bouncing QBs don't help the situation either. They need to build up on some positions and work at it for another year or two. They are not a complete team. (AFC East #4)

Chiefs: May be the team no one should want to play right now. They seem to have gotten it together. Edwards should stick with the hot hand and not start Green at QB. Ride it for all it's worth. Defense is still very suspect though. Battling Jags for #6 Seed. (AFC West #3)

Bills: Still have a ways to go. They are showing improvement over last year, but still need a good QB and another reciever. Things should come together in a year or two. (AFC East #3)

Texans: Still need to address that O-Line. If they can work that up, they could be dangerous, look for them to spoil someone's playoffs this year. (AFC South #4)

Jets: They have it together this year, but a tough schedule as really hurt them.  The next few games don't help them either. They really need New England to fall off that pedistal to have a chance, but it won't be this year. (AFC East #2)

Raiders: Two words: Art Shell.... Enough said! (AFC West #4)
