What up my Fellow Sports Fans. Well this is my first blog here on Fox Sports.  As my sample bio will tell you, I'm just a regular guy with a blog who loves the heck out of sports.  As any respectable wannabe sports afficianado I know a fairly good amount about the wild world of sports.  Still, despite this claim most of my blogs will deal with God's gift to the human race: Football.  I tell ya, there are few things better than watching football in this crazy world.  Here's just a quick list of where my priorities lie:

1. God

2. My Family

3. Football

4. Women

5. Video Games About Football

So let's just this thing moving.   In my blogs you can expect a few things to always be a mainstay here.  Firstly, unless you are a Chicago Bears fan or BYU cougar, I will treat you with the respect that I would expect for myself.  If you are a Bear or Cougar, thou shalt feel my wrath!  While that sounds kind of "Cub-Scouty" that's how I roll.  Secondly, you can expect a wild attempt to write humorously about sports (feel free to call me a poor man's Rick Reilly).  Thirdly, just expect hear the praises of my two favorite teams: The Packers and the University of Hawai'i Warriors. When the football seaon ends, I'll become much more biased, but until then, unencumbered enthusiasm for the Green and Gold will reign supreme.

With that said I better start talking about some sports.  My topic:

The Packers vs Redskins Game

As the Pack come off of their first loss of the season, cheeseheads are left scrathing their heads.  How does Brett Favre throw for 322 yards, Chicago's Cedric Benson ,a.k.a. Ricky Williams cruddy clone, run for a 2.4 average, and the Packers Deshawn win run all over the Bears D still equal a Packers loss?  Well it's very simple, and it can be said with two words, Charles Tillman.  "That d*mn ball stripper don't ya know" as he's become known among Packer fans kept the Bears from being pummeled by the Pack with two key forced fumbles from Packer rookie James Jones.  Don't blame Jones Packer nation, he's a rookie who's been playing lights out so far, expect him to screw up a little.  While it would have been nice if he made his errors in the bye week, the game is over, and the Pack have to get ready for a hot Redskins team.

With a solid QB situation, the Washington Redskins are gonna make things difficult for the Packers.  The Skins QB Jason Campbell looked more like a young Donavan McNabb than a first round bust against the Lions last week.  Despite having a strong game, the skins are having weak run support from Clinton Portis and Ladell Betts.  In other words, for all of you fantasy players, bench'em if you got em.  Unless you have Brett Favre, you need a running game.  If they couldn't run for a hundred yards on the Lions, they won't against the 15th ranked run defense.  That ranking is also decieving, the Packers have faced Brian Westbrook, Ladanian Tomlinson, and managed to hold both of them under control.

Speaking of running games, the Pack may have found some semblance of a running back.  Rookie RB Deshawn Wynn was running away from the Bears D like he had slapped their mamas until he cramped up and disapeared into the abyss for the rest of the game.  Fortunately, he's back and with him and a healthy Vernand Morency, the Packers may have something.  It doesn't help that Washington's run-defense is about as effective as a BB gun against a rabid Rosie O'donnel.

It could be a long day for the Skins if they don't get a lead early as the Packers look to bounce back from a game they should have won.

Prediction:

Packers: 27

Redskins: 17

Packmaster's Fantasy Picks for this game.

For the Packers:

QB Brett Favre: Start him, expect at least 250 yards and 2 touchdowns.

RB Deshawn Wynn: Start him, Wynn could be a possible number two back this week with a chance 80+ yards and a touchdown.

WR Donald Driver: Bench Him, I love Driver, but the Skins secondary is tough and he'll be up against Fred Smoot or Carlos Rodgers all day.  Expect Greg Jennings and James Jones to have solid days.

Packers DST: Start them, While the Packers secondary leaves something to be desired, that is Charles Woodson and Al Harris at CB.  The run defense will be solid and expect the front 7 to get to Jason Campbell a few times.

For the Redskins

Jason Campbell: Bench him, Unless Clinto Portis comes to life or Ladell Betts turns into Barry Sanders, Cambell will have suffer without a running game.  While he has the chance at 15-18 fantasy points, the chance at a 3 INT day looms over him like Chris Berman's hair-piece.

Clinton Portis: Bench Him, I've already torn into old Clinty enough, he will not have a good day on Sunday.

Santana Moss:  Start Him, there may be a bright spot for Washington as Santana Moss will have chances for some big plays against a young Packers secondary.  He's lightining in a bottle and will burn Al Harris at least once in this game.  If you have guts and want to take a risk, Moss could have a 100 yard, 1 touchdown game.

Redskins DST:  Bench them, It won't be a good day for the defense if Brett Favre gets rolling.  Before that lame duck he gave to Brian Urlacher in the 3rd quarter on Sunday night, Favre has been lights out.  The Pack will be les conservative on 3rd down and will try to set up play action with a possible running game.  While Antwaan Randle El could break something, the Packers probably won't kick to him.

That does it for now.  Expect more in later blogs, but I just had to get this one up.  Thanks for taking the time read my rants on the greatest sport of all-time.  LAters.
