Fitting how the Blazers open the season, on the road against the Los Angeles KobeBryants. The rivalry has been restored and what better time to renew the rivalry than opening night, in Hollywood. The Blazers will have 13 nationally televised games, including a Christmas Day showdown with the Mavericks in the Rose City, who we owned last season. I hope my tickets include that game, as they did last season. The twelve game pack, should be packed (no pun intended) with great games again this season. Should be fun to see a healthy Oden, a flashy Fernandez, an MVP named Roy, an LA that you don't hate; averaging double-doubles, Trout and his crazy hops, Marty bury triples, the '80-09 ROY player named Bayless, Joel punishing opponents in the paint, and Sergio and Blakie dishin' and swishin'. Who knows, maybe there will be enough left over burn for IkeDiogu, Money Man Raef, and the French kid, Nicolas Batum.
The time to make Rip City relevant again has come! To the playoffs and beyond!
sorry PF im picky!!!! but ohhyea im getting pumped also with the blazers.... nate macmillian has done a heck of a job all the years hes been here in oregon..... also when he got rid of the criminals on the team.... sheed wallace for example??????
I hold the distinction of the single worst fantasy baseball team ever it seems...nevertheless why would they ban you?
Finally it would seem you are in a microscopically small subset to hold the opinion of me you do but everyone's entitled even if they're wrong. Thanks for the kind words.
And the hits just keep on comin'!! The schedule offers a few more nationally televised games than in years past. Why? Because people are starting to take notice of the biggest phenomenon sweeping the NBA. I cannot wait to see Oden, LaMarcus and Roy as fixtures + all the other studs we have to sub. We are going to have a DEEP, versatile bench. Rise with us... BTW PF- I'm adding you to my favorite blogs. Boom-shaka-laka- RIP CITY!
And guys, You may love directly chating online with hot babes about it on " I n t e r r a c i a l L o v i n g . C o M" where Men or Women can meet many sexual black and white girls or boys who love sports.
I wouldn't call splitting the season series, the Lakers owning the Blazers. I said it would renew the rivalry, which hasn't been much over the years.
The Blazers will start to win more of the games that count over they next few years. You guys can just wait and see, like the rest of us. All the opinions of the Laker fans are starting to sound like they're all coming from one dude. Dizzle is the only one, who has some knowledge about the game. The rest of you appear to be riding the Kobe Bryant bandwagon.
Mr. Hardiman: It was you who instigated my sour opinion of you. You can't talk down to people and not expect a negative reaction. That's on you. While I think you're a great writer, I just don't understand your need to feel like you're better than everyone else.
PF is from the Northwest. I'm a huge fan of the Seahawks, Mariners, and Trail Blazers! If you don't root for your teams, even when they're losing or re-building, you are not a true fan.
