Role players, doing their thing. Steve Blake being the steady playmaker that he his, occassionally burying that necessary 3 ball. Channing Frye showing me that I was wrong for calling you "soft" last year. I'm sorry. What can I say about Ike Diogu?Raef LaFrentz proving to me that not all money is well spent. Good luck to James Jones and Jarrett Jack and of course McBob. Jack will be missed, especially by me. Voted by his teammates as the "Best Dressed, Best Friend" We'll miss you buddy!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AU7u4YxKnTI& amp;feature=related
and hopefully Mac 10 will win Coach of the Year!
and of course we have the best owner (Mr. Allen) and GM (Kevin Pritchard) in the league

When they went on that run in the early part of the season they showed what they were clearly capable of. And now with Oden expected to be fully fit . I see no reason why they can't acquit themselves this upcoming season.
No doubt the perennial contenders in the West'll be there , as is to be expected. But I for one don't see any reason not why they can't be part of the fun also.
I think they'll make playoffs. Last year they were in contension for a playoff spot, but couldn't keep it together, they're a young team and if they all stay on the same page they'll make it.
I guess Rudy isn't the Spanish Pistol Pete. Rubio will easily be a top five pick, if enters the draft next year. I just hope the Lakers or OKC don't get him.
ESPN Top 50 Rookies of the '08-09 season has three Blazers on it. Oden at 2, Fernandez at 3, and Bayless at 11. The upcoming season is full of promise.
PF is from the Northwest. I'm a huge fan of the Seahawks, Mariners, and Trail Blazers! If you don't root for your teams, even when they're losing or re-building, you are not a true fan.
