A response to Keith Jackson reportedly says he's retiring: Whoa Nellie!! Say it isn't so. Keith Jackson has been the voice of Pac-10 Football for as long as I've been alive. For nearly 4+ decades, there has been no one better. Next to Curt Gowdy, I do not know of any more legendary and distinctive sportscasting voices than Keith Jackson. Being one of the voices of the UW Husky and WSU Coug Football, I am proud to wish this former WSU Coug the best of luck in retirement.
I hail from the Pacific Northwest and the Capital City of Olympia, WA, and am all about my local teams such as my Sonics, Seahawks, Storm, Mariners, and local reps in March Madness like my UW Huskies and Gonzaga Bulldogs. If you've read my previous blogs, I'm for fair and just officiating unlike the travesty that was seen in the last Super Bowl, and am a huge promoter and fan of winter games like skiing and think the NW and Canada has some of the best skiing in the world, and love outdoor sports of all kinds. If you want to listen to a guy who loves the NW easygoing lifestyle, clean air, good coffee, micro brewery in every town, eco-friendly folks, and rivers full of wild steelhead and salmon for me to fish, stay tuned.
