This season I am posting right around .700 for my picks. I am pretty accurate with my upsets. I look for good feedback and good sportsmanship on my posts. We may be fans of different teams, but we share a love for NFL football.
Green Bay @ Dallas:
Both of these teams are needless to say be quite impressive. I pick the Packers to win a close one even though the game is in Dallas.
San Francisco @ Carolina:
Carolina has been downright horrible this year and the 49ers posted an impressive win against Arizona this week. The 49ers will win in Carolina this week. Gore is back.
Jacksonville @ Indianpolis:
The Jags are rolling. The Colts are winning, however they are not impressive. Jags will steamroll the Colts at home and go into a tie for the division.
San Diego @ Kansas City:
The Chargers will win the division this year and sneak into the playoffs. With the injuries the Chiefs have sustained I cant see them winning this game. Chargers win.
New York Jets @ Miami:
This is it. Miami wins their first game on the season. An impressive defensive stand against the Steelers on Monday caused me to pick an 0-11 team to win.
Detriot @ Minnesota:
Where did the Vikes come from? They should have AP back this week (a good thing for me and my fantasy league). Vikings destroy the faltering Lions.
Seattle @ Philadelphia:
This game depends on two things. 1. Will Seattle pressure the QB? 2. Will the Eagles play McNabb? The last time Seattle went to Philly they crushed them 42-0 and took most of the starters out in the second half. I dont see that happening again, however I see Seattle winning. The Eagles have huge heads for a below .500 team and Seattle is looking to grab a three game lead in their division.
Atanta @ St. Louis:
St. Louis will win their third game of the season here pending any injuries. They are defeated at home and need a win. Atlanta is just downright horrible this year.
Houston @ Tennessee:
The Titans need to avenge their humilating defeat to the Bengals this last week and will do so against the Texans.
Buffalo @ Washington:
The Skins will play with heart after their loss of Sean Taylor. Buffalo doesn't stand a chance.
Cleveland @ Arizona:
How about them Browns. They will make the playoffs but will not get out of the first round. Arizona will lose this game by 10 points.
Denver @ Oakland:
Oakland will win against the declining Broncos. This is an upset pick.
New York Giants @ Chicago:
Dont let the Bears win last week fool you. The Giants are for real (just as long as they dont play Dallas or Minnesota). Giants win.
Tampa Bay @ New Orleans:
Two good teams face off. Next to Thursdays game this is the hardest game to pick and I will go with the home team here. Saints win.
Cincinnati @ Pittsburgh:
The Steelers have been less than impressive of late and them barely beating the Fins is a direct reflection of that. Bengals roll the Terrible Towels in Steel City.
New England @ Baltimore:
Who in their right mind can pick the Ravens? Pats win.

Most of your picks are right on more than less, except the following. IMO.
Because Dallas is at home, I pick the Cowboys in a close one.
Miami over the Jets? Sounds like wishful thinking on your part. The Steelers may have only scored 3 points Monday night but the Dolphins didn't score at all.
Carolina may be horrible but the 49ers are worst.
Both the Rams and the Falcon stink. Besides that, who cares who wins.
I wonder between Denver and Oakland who is declining the most? However Denver still has a chance for the playoffs and Oakland doesn't.
Giants are for real? really....as long as they are playing teams with a losing record. Well Chicago has a losing record, right.
The Bengals and the Steelers are both less than impressive. But the Steelers are at home and at least have a defense. Lets hope the field is in a playing condition.
well i just read your pick on the dallas green bay game. i do though have to disagree with you. i think the game will be close untill farve throws an int towards the end of the game giving the cowboyz a victory by 11-12 points. i dont think they will be able to stop witten up the middle and to on the long ball, when they play the deep ball they will get a big dose of barber and jones. the dallas running def. is playing awesome right now and greenbay cant run the ball we all know that. so dallas will play the pass all day and stop farve.i see farve throwing 3 ints. dallas 38 greenbay 27.

you all are crazy fools if anything Tony HOM0 will throw an INT. the packers pass defense is better than the cowboys and the packers are 2nd in the league in passing offense. Tony HOM0 has 13 INT next to Favre's 8. Gotta take the Packers in this one. i agree with u nationtravelers

also thekidd007 UP YOURS!!! the packers have a running game. they have had one for about 5 weeks now with ryan grant. get this. out of the 5 games he has played as a starter he has had 100 yards rushing in 4 of them ok. no way will the cowboys win
First time in the blog, I am impressed with your explanations for each pick, but I have to say I feel like the Titans will take a nasty fall against the Texans.
I have to disagree with ya on that one. If AJ starts, the Eagles will win! I think the Eagles will come out with short passes, spreading the ball around, and mixing Westbrook in with the run just enough to keep Seattle off balanced. Overall, I look for a real solid game by the Eagles, while holding the Hawks O intact. The only aspect of the game that has me worried is special teams. The Eagles' cover team, and return team have been, well, not so special..that is one advantage the Hawks will have. All in all, if AJ starts I see the Eagles winning this one 27-17.
If McNabb starts, Hawks win 24-3.
Let me assure you the Jags will not steam role the Colts even with all the Injuries. No team will ever steam role the Colts they are to good even with all the Injuries. As a matter of fact U better be concerned about the Colts steam rolling the Jags.

While we both picked the Cowboys to win you almost picked the correct score, good job. I wonder how this game would have come out if Favre didn't get hurt in the second quarter?

I guess its back to the drawn board for you and the Packers, if Favre is out for any length of time at all the Packers will be in deep trouble. Favre holds this young Packers team together and its divided we fall. I wish Favre all the good luck coming back but it did not look good watching him on the sideline getting his arm worked on.

As much as I would like to disagree with you I can't and that is exactly what I said on my blog. Pick and Pans week 13.
I am a native of the Pacific Northwest. My Grandfather was a very small minority owner of the Seahawks and even owned the land the original Kingdome was built on, he sold his portion to the Nordstrom family in 1979.
With that being said I was born a fan and was less than a two weeks old when I went to my first Hawks game on Dec. 3rd 1978 when the Hawks played the Browns.
As a kid my family moved to Arizona where things changed in sports, becoming a Phoenix sports fan is bittersweet, just like being a Seattle fan. Combined the two cities have two championships . 1979 Sonics and 2001 Diamondbacks.
I am now living in SoCal with my wife and two children, with one little future Seahawk on the way.
