Now I'm not one for prima-donna WR who want to cry re-negotiate every year, when the market changes. But this guy Plaxico one of the biggest strongest and a homerun threat still for his size (most 6'5"+ WR are possesion WR's) deserves the money!
Ok we've heard this before , where would the Gmen be without Tiki and they were fine, or Pettigout and so on....
But if you ask me as good as Tiki was ...RB's are one of the easiest things to replace any GM will tell you this too.
Top #ten WR's in the NFL aren't. Now I can name @ least #3 games last season in which "Plax" single handely won it , the Jets, The Skins and once against th Eagles. And that's NOT to mention his impact on other games in which he didn't inpact the box score such as those.
You could never say that about Shockey maybee in 5+ years with the team I can maybee remember him single handedly winning one! if that?
plax is a jerk, and that is why the Steelers would not pay him. I hope you know what you are going to get with him. maybe the switch to New York did him good. Just be careful, If the guy starts to get lazy, (not practicing, not performing against undersize defenders) then all you did was pay thru the nose for a malcontent.
