Finally the Big Game is upon us.  Now that Media Day is over and all the parties have all started, even though people who throw the party, don't really attend.  Now we begin the useless talk shows, and having Terry Bradshaw and Jimmie Johnson talking about the receivers choice in gloves for this weekend.  I wonder if pre-game shows will hold off and only talk about the game for an hour, unlike the 4 hours that FOX is doing.

I am just waiting for the game to begin.  The only problem about this weekend is that I have a hockey game of my own starting at 9:00 Eastern time.  I will only be able to see the entire first quarter, and most of the second quarter until I have to leave.  Too Bad, because when people ask me where I was when perfection happened, I will have to say "Playing the pass on a 2 on 1,".

In case you didn't get that, I am picking the Pats to win, now the question is will they cover?  Let us look at a few things.  The Pats morphed into a cold-weather team after spending the first 8 weeks as a warm weather team.  No they are going to play on a fast field, with controlled elements.  The last time the Patriots played in 70 degree weather, they hung up 50 on the Redskins.  They had deep threats in the cold against the make-shift defence the Giants fielded in Week 17.  This is making me lean towards a Patriot win, and them covering the spread.

But then you have a good Giants defence, who will be able to get that excellent pass rush. Strahan and Umenyiora will have a difficult time facing probably the best offensive line in the NFL.  Generally a Brick Wall always beats a Corvette, according to the Big Aristotle.

I am going to pick the Patriots to cover the spread of 11.5.
