John Mellencamp sings of a town, a small town, where everyone knows each other, everyone is friendly and it's a place where everyone wants to live.

Our Town is a bellwether town in Sports too. We back the Bengals and Browns ( Kinda like the Republicans and the Democrats ). We really love only one College Football team, and for all that matters one College and thats Ohio State. I won't make excuses for this town. It's the kind of town that if you don't make it in some sort of the limited professional occupations here, including the Kenworth Truck Company, The Mead paper Company ( Known now as Glatfelter) and a few smaller arbeitplatz ( work places ), YOU WON'T.

You can see the town just die the morning after a Buckeye loss. Like when USC beat Ohio State 35  - 3.  Personally theres a safeguard in place now that when the #### lose, I can move that bad thought to the back of my consciousness, so that it doesn't bother me. I think I learned this while growing up, we were  poor. I have realized this and put in it the back also.

One thing is true, so far after the history of the United States, that no one has won the Presidency if they didn't win Ohio as a State, and especially Chillicothe. I include this CNN clip from  last night and this mornings news out of my town. Just in case someone wants to know where I blog from.

Here's to Ohio State and healthy players in the line up. This silly world and for the country. My hope is that whoever wins the Election, that they will take care of our town, our Country. We all need help, after all, this time the choices are bad and our future looks worse.

This is not a political post.. Rather it seems the no matter who wins the election, we have our Schools to root for. We have our little towns, unless you live in the big ones. The little towns bring out perspectives that living in large cities can subdue. Because here, we call it like we see it. We don't watch TV that much. In the Midwest, in little towns, we love our sports too, but we love our country. Still they bring in the sons back from worthless wars.

If you want to know who will win the election, just look to our little town.

Well, it finally happened and I wanna know who cares, and who is sad. Kimbo Slice, the You Tube wonder boy Street Fighter lost last night in a contest that went the whole three rounds against Ken Shamrock.

NOT !!!

Ken Shamrock had to withdraw due to an injury just before the bout, and one of the other Heavyweights who was supposed to fight another fighter was asked to step in. All of a sudden we have no Shamrock, all the hype about this fight gone out the window. Elite XC took the other fighter and put him in Shamrocks place, but it had to be ok'ed by Kimbo. He accepted like a gracious sportsman. Then in 14 seconds, that's right, 14 seconds it was over.  Kimbo dropped immediately by a jab on the chin, and he was pounced on for two more quick punches and it was over with.

I like Kimbo for what he was. A street fighter who was trying to make it as a MMA man. In my most humble opinion, Kimbo, let it go. Some geek with pink hair KO'ed you and it was over. I thought maybe it was set up that he take a dive. Didn't it seem like it to you. I know maybe 2 bloggers from Fox turned this one on for 5 minutes like I did, to see the spectacle that was Kimbo. For me, it's over. He met up with a smaller man, with pink hair. A true MMA fighter and it just reaffirmed my opinion that MMA fighters own street fighter and Karate fighters and maybe boxers. These guy's are trained to take you out.

What will become of Kimbo. He had a little gash on his left brow. Elementary kids fight worse than that. This was without a doubt the dumbest fight I have ever seen. It looked surreal. My opinion is , " Kimbo, take the money and run. Invest it wisely". You just lost a lost of faithful backers last night be that humiliating light, if thats what you call that. Go away now and quit pretending you are the baddest man on earth. If thats all you can take, you'd best retire.

Hello to all waiting on the remainder for part II of Bloggers who remind me of TV stars is, at best, postponed until I research everything all over again. My wife decided a day or so after the original to clean up the computer. You know, get rid of useless stuff and put into the recycle bin everything else. All the Photos are gone, the line up and everything.

Am I mad at Claudia. Hell know. I'm like George Lopez who has a prize wife  ( in my opinion) who got to marry a woman out of my league. High maintenance for sure ha ha .

So I gotta start all over. My original list, written on paper is still here, my only saving grace.

This was so much better than part one. It was awesome. Just wait a while and it will come soon.

I been asked to write a post so I'll stick to my team and throw some things in the soup. Seems like my time, will power to battle the know it all's just isn't there anymore. I just can't keep it civil. I failed now 4 years the many of Ed Clinch's tests and chastisement's that have come at me for being bad, and he knows I'm christian who is the worst sinner. I cannot match him on the religious front, so even though maybe  I've been a Christian longer than he's been alive, and practiced it almost the same, he feels like the Father who brings judgement down to those who needs to be shook up a little. Thanks Ed Clinch. He really is a good bloke, if you understand him. He just comes from a planet that hasn't been created yet.

I love Ohio State. I realize they aren't as good as the media portrayed them the last year or so. But being a fan go's farther than football games. I live 45 minutes south of the "Shoe", and on any given day I'm likely to drive up to campus, during the week and get out and walk around for a couple of hours. This place is so magnetic, so large and the feelings of grandeur and magnificance is overwhelming. Buildings built on the 1870's maybe. Not as old as Harvard or Cornell or others, but still it's been here long enough to fill my mind with those who have walked it's halls and auditoriums of many years gone by. I won't make any claims as to being the best, oldest, more traditions, largest enrollment or student body.

I will take exception to those who constantly put down the Football team, if only to try to turn attention away from their schools inadequacies. RevBrianBlack has a problem with Ohio State, who knows why. SRMgenius does too. So many others have something against this great University, but there's just one problem for them. We don't care. When we read it I could just go off, not really personally, but just in defense. I don't know why REVBB has this problem. Let the world judge your team and try to speak more like a human being. People will react with you and the hard sell just doesn't cut it. I remember Brian Black and I  were friends at one time, and I don't think we aren't now. Just take a chill pill and enjoy Missouri's rightful climb to the top. They are amazing and Chase Daniels will win the Heisman as long as he takes it to Oklahoma.

SRMGenius is another problem. I'm not saying he is bad, but this guy likes controversy. His last couple of blogs really show that to be true. I'm a Gator fan too, Oklahoma, Nebraska, USC, Penn State and Michigan too, as long as they aren't playing against my Buckeyes. ((( This section editited for it's innacuracies.))) It's just a job. It helps pay for doctor bills, groceries, bills, car payments, just like you all.

Here's an update on my health. A lot of you great friends of mine know that I seem to be in a test from God, especially with injuries, unbearable pain and no future except hanging out here sometimes. Fussboss sends me great stuff on my email, he doesn't know how he has lifted my spirits on bad days, and good days. Lisa is always positive. When She Steelers and Southern Cindy where pulling in to Talladega, on that memorable Fox sponsored trip for Southern Cindy, our best friend here at Fox who finally succumbed to cancer not long ago. THEY TOOK THE TIME TO CALL ME. THAT WAS AWESOME Degraff, Jon, Rev, volfan and Broncogirl and even 1steelers1, exbulrider, GAMBITXXX, bayoudog Mike Greenspire and so many unnamed but not forgotten friends who have been positive knowing the health problems I have. Of course you guys know I struggle with pain from having low back spinal fusion, then I got run over at my work - Kenworth Truck Comp, a month or so after I returned to work. Cracked the new fusion through the bone, and it bulged out the top 3 discs above it.

I alo have been diagnosed with a Liver tumor, and now skin Cancer on my back, edema caused by congestive Heart failure. Lost my house , trucks, boats, underwear, TP and we moved to a Apt . Really nice if you like APT's. It's been really a ride, but my faith, my friends here have helped me cope with all this fun.

So when I write something and your name is mentioned, it's out of an attitude of " Come on man, it's just College Football". So many other things take priority. I hope you see what I getting at. Hateful posts help no one. They do actually make that person look smaller than life. I always find good with the bad. I hope you all do too.

I want to say Hello,my first ESPN blog post. I write over on Fox Sports too as Marty Walker. Anyway, I am a Buckeye fan, and to me, tradition there is awesome, plus the almost 60,000 students there. The Girls are amazing. Not you usual in state cows, but some awesome honey’s from your state too, I’m sure of it.

I want the Buckeyes to win Saturday night, but I see things for what they are. I hate Jim Bollman, off coor. for the ####. With the athletes here, the plays are questionable. Where did they get this #### from. I know Tress calls the plays, but its Bollman who take care of the offense during the week. Enough of that.

Saturday hopefully will be a better game than the first two OSU played. Where’s the killer instinct. Where’s the swagger that a team fore casted to be the best is supposed to have. They need a hate coach. One who talks to them all week long. Winners will understand what I mean. Well, lets see what happens Saturday Night in the Coliseum, good luck.

My hope is that it's a good game, and despite of what I said the other day, I will be there to watch hopefully greatness, hopefully own both sides of the football.

To all my fellow Buckeye fans, let's get up for this game, a great early season match-up between two traditional tradition schools, with a lot to prove.

Some seem to emulate the famous people, while others most certainly are either that person for real, or were reincarnated as each blogger. Stay with me and see if you agree.

Who is Curly Gambitxxx asked. I thought I'd leave that one up to you all. I was thinking Blue& Orange, but Gambitzzz is a clown sometimes too, but he is so skinny, er, I mean, tall with a muscular build. Before I go on, I have Part Two ready to go. I think I'd like to see how this is received. You never know. My disclaimer is I'm on drugs for back damage so I don't really know if I'm hurting someone feelings. ARE YOU WANTING PART TWO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am proud of the Buckeyes play last Saturday. Obviously there are way too many haters here at Fox and maybe I can help tell you why you hate them so much. Coming from 3 years of observation of many comments and blogs, I think I have a grasp on this hate thing.

1. Most people hate tOSU just for the acronym I just typed. Failing to understand why "t" is up front, you think it's arrogance. It's all about this weeks game against the Bobcats.Check previous post.

2. The hate also comes from I've heard is that many people hate the media stamping Ohio State a perennial champion from the Big 10 and Midwest. This bothers me somewhat. The team hardly releases any news notes ever, just when they have to, but it's the media's fault for that. One thing I can tell you is that if the media bypasses every team in the Midwest like Iowa, Northwestern, Penn State and many more, seemingly featuring mainly OSU. is that our fault. Hell no.

3. The SEC fans. For some unknown reason, a lot of trolls come from the SEC territory. They have no reason at all, ever, no way no how to be jealous or worry about us. They've won it all lately and so I would hope those from the South would quit the hating. Stick to your own conference. Seems last year that while the Florida fans were hating on the B10 and tOSU, they didn't watch out for Auburn, who burned them in a big win for Tupperville. I'm not talking about respectable bloggers like Gambitxxx, Bayoudog or The Rev and some others. It's the ones you hear from that just pop in to start their ####, and over on the main stories and comments underneath.

These are the main reasons you see the hating on the Buckeyes, and my guess it will never stop. Is this true College Football fanaticism. Does this truly show the heart and soul of most College Football fans, who just love the game. I don't think so. I see it as the people who always talk this #### as people with mental problems. When you only speak down about other teams, instead of just enjoying football in it's best form, you tend to lose something about yourself. My hope is all of us, even I, will show more sportsmanship.

Here's to a great football season for all fans. Loving is much better than hating.

Who of you bloggers can say why you are a hater of the Ohio State Buckeyes. It really can't be over tOSU part, which is a inside Ohio put down of Ohio University Bobcats in Athens Ohio. Some years ago the Bobcats started a statewide controversy when they proclaimed themselves as the real Officially recognized State University in Ohio, thus granting them patent rights to the name. As hard as they tried, Ohio State won, hence the "THE " in front of OSU. Pronounced THEE, it digs into every Bobcat fan and faculty and Alumni. They started it. Oh well. But it seems arrogant to the rest of the nation, it's like we our saying Hi we are THE Ohio State University. So people, don't take it as arrogance unto you, it's just to Ohio University.

The other reasons still fail me as to why Ohio State is one, if not the most hated Colleges in America. I never knew this fact until I came here to Fox to blog. I was always on top of everything Ohio State, but the shock of how hated it is still gets to me. I think we are just like any other school out there. Nebraska, BYU, Boston College, Texas. We all live and breath our local Colleges and we love our colors, traditions and integrity of our schools. So what makes you hate Ohio State.
