Kellett's Top 25 WEEK 1
Sep 04, 2007 | 3:57PM | report this

First,  you will notice that Michigan didn't make the list. That's all I will say about thier loss this week.

Second, Alot of these teams played soft teams as we all know.

Given that, the following is the way I see the first week unfolded:

1. USC - I still have at 1 , but very unimpressive.

2. WEST VIRGINIA

3. OKLAHOMA - Very impressive, could be #1 with solid win against Miami.

4. LSU - Struggled HARD in first half of season opener.

5. TEXAS - Disapointing start, play like that against TCU and you will lose.

6. LOUISVILLE

7. FLORIDA

8. WISCONSIN

9. GEORGIA - They put the brakes on a good offense, but the way they moved the ball impressed me. SEC Championship?

10. CALIFORNIA - Could be playing for National Championship if we see that kind of performance each week. Watchout USC.

11. OHIO STATE

12. NEBRASKA

13. VIRGINIA TECH - Maybe it was all the emotion, but they couldn't run the ball. Must play better against LSU.

14. UCLA

15. GEORGIA TECH - It's not that they beat Notre Dame, but how they beat them... WOW. They played like a top 10 team.

16. PENN STATE

17. RUTGERS

18. ARKANSAS

19. BOISE STATE

20. TEXAS A&M

21. TCU - might be better than 21, we'll see next week. they could beat Texas. (upset pick)

22. HAWAII - Again better than 22.

23. MIAMI

24. TENNESSEE - They played well. Cal out ran them and out lasted them. But this Tennessee team could beat most.

25. AUBURN - except for the final score; it was a loss against Kansas State. I feel guilty for not putting Washington or Clemson here.

Please provide your feedback.

Should the NFL really go global???

Will playing NFL football all over the world ruin football as we know it?

Sure it's nice to find new markets and make more money. But, will the GAME itself get lost in all the travel? I thought NFL Europe was a great idea, but now it's gone. Only to be replaced by more games in other countrys...

WHY?!?

Football is an American sport. If people from other countrys want to see a game, let them come here buy the ticket, stay in a hotel, eat at our resturants, and spend thier money in our country. It's called tourism, and it helps pay for stuff!!!

Maybe we should start a campaign to keep football in America. OR maybe I'm the only one that fears playing football all over the world will ruin football as we know it.
