Josh Q. Public:I’m sorry, so sorry. That I was such a fool. -Brenda Lee
Public Apology:OK, here we go!I said some things. Said some things I shouldn’t have. Said some things that were wrong. Washington Redskins safety Sean Taylor died. Died a horrible death. Died a day after he was shot at home by common thieves. I thought the worst. I said as much. I blamed Sean for dying the way he did. For that, I apologize. For that, I take full responsibility. The Washington Redskins lost a beloved teammate. The Taylor family lost a beloved son. A beloved father. A beloved husband. The Redskins should retire #21. The Redskins should put #21 in the Ring of Honor. The Redskins should proudly wear his number next season. Those who knew him intimately, shared a locker room with him, or walked the halls at Redskins Park, insisted that Taylor was a different man. A doting father. A family man. All growds up. I didn’t see it that way. I was wrong. I am sorry. To all of Sean Taylor’s people, I hope that the memories you built will help you to carry on through this difficult time.

Misconceptions and preconceived ideas being what they are. It's understandable but the guy died a death that no one should have to die under. He's there trying to protecvt his family from a bunch of felons whose one goal once the crime was botched was to take a life. And that's what's so sad in this mindless act. And then we've got the more bellicose amongst us blaming it on the 'thug mentality'. #### that the taking of a life has absolutely nothing to do with that. It's insipid stupidity to even think that way !
Check out my two latest posts within this forum and let me know what you think ? They're titled When We Were Soldiers And Then We Came Home To Ridicule And Insults !
And the precursor to that is Eli Got The Job Done But Will It Be Enough ? I'll look forward to reading your comments.

If you were indeed one of those and you've alluded to that and offered your apologies. Then it's a dead issue. Taylor had his problems and had begun to turn his lefe around. At the same time he was a proud father who was engaged to actor Andy Garcia's daughter. The fact now remains that a child has lost its father , a mother her fiance and their lives can never be what it once was or could've been.
The assailants themselves are awaiting trial and they'll no doubt never see the light of day should they be found guilty.
