I like swagger. I like confidence. I even like a little bit of cockiness and arrogance. I have these qualities myself. With that said, this disturbs me. No wonder they call us Gen En as in Generation Entitlement. A lot of what's wrong with sports can be found right there. I know who I blame but you decided for yourselves.
Sports of old had all that too, but it also had good sportsmanship which is now lacking. Look at the backgrond of the majority of current athletes-uneducated (choose to be at that), poor gehetto thugs. "Good Sportmanship" will get you killed in the hood, so they bring their survival attitude onto the sports field. Can't blame them and Big Sports Money doesn't care because the bucks are rollng in. It's an ugly world but one we made.
