            The Art Of Hypocrisy

We as fans sitting in out recliners and comfy sofas sit back and whine and cry every time a player commits an error or does something we feel we could have done better.

How many of you have sat back with a cold one in one hand and remote in the other and watched your QB miss a wide open reciever and then say even I could have made that pass.

 Really raise your hands. ------Ha" this is a blog I can't see your hands.

Hypocrisy is defined as- "The refusal to "...apply to ourselves the same standards we apply to others".  I don't know about you but Iv'e been guilty of it millions of times.

Lets for a minute put the shoe on the other foot so to speak say we grab Joe Shmoe of the street suit him up and see how many passes he completes in a game.

You have approximetly 3  1/2 to 4 seconds to make a split decision before a 6ft8 monster weighing 265 trys to kill you and thats if everybody dosn't miss their blocks. wonder how many interceptions he would throw or how many incomplete passes.

And how about baseball when you favorite player strikes out?

 I know you could have done better- I would love to see an average person go and try to hit a 95mph fast ball or a Wakefield nuckleball.

I bet you would be standing there looking silly I know I would.

And how bout hockey how many times did you think you could do better I bet a 20 second round with Jody Shelly would clear up any misconceptions that you could do better.

And the biggest one I always hear Nascar I could drive better than that--Sure you could Skippy thats why they are there and your at home watching I know I cant drive 500 miles at 200mph not without changing my underware.

So just remember next time a player/driver  does something you feel you could have done better--- could you have ?    Really ?
