Now that Terrelle Pryor is starting and Beanie is semi healthy is Ohio State in a position to get back to the title game if they win out ?
They looked good against Wisconsin and their defense finally started getting pressure on the QB and Beanie was pushing defenders into the endzone and out of his way.
With Terrelle being a true freshman and a true freshman starting at center I think they have more than proved themselves but are they ready to face another USC I guess the next true test will be when they face Penn State If they beat them their ranking should be right up their with USC's. IMO
I know this has been an upset filled season so far and I know we havn't seen all of them yet this comming week will start to seperate the pretenders from the contenders.
My only problem with The Buckeyes is their play calling it's boreing and predictable I know that with Terrelle running some option plays it creates a new wrinkle but everytime I see him pitch the ball I ssense a turnover comming so far it hasn't happend but It's scary and just a matter of time.
I know last year they shouldn't have been in the title game but It wasn't their fault the teams that should have didn't win when they needed to.
So I'm asking do you think they can make it back this season or not ?
In a land far far away there is a town called Upsetville and they have been getting some notoriety here lately.
It seems no one give this town any respect until they defeat the giants that surround them...It all started with a local boy named David when he defeated the mighty giant Goliath.
There are several teams that represent Upsetville and this weekend they rose to the occasion and defeated their Nemesis.
The Beavers defeated the Mighty Trojans that the world thought would reign supreme.
The Wolverines defeated the Badgers with stingy defense and some razzle dazzle from their offense.
The Shipmen defeated some nasty Demon Deacons.
The Tide Rolled all over the Bulldogs..UGA was not happy.
And Some Rebels ran rampent over the Gators.
The Terrapins beat the Tigers like the tortoise beat the hare.
It was just another day in Upsetville and the celebrations could be heard around the world.
This been another crazy week in NCAA football and I love it .
Just goes to show you that the BCS is truly BS and all the experts are humbled and prove that no one really knows whats going to happen .
Mark May can once again #### some crow which just happens to be the towns main cuisine.
OSU-Is going to have Youngstown State as their first game .
I thought I would do a weekly run down of Ohio State's victims er I mean opponents.

Good Luck To the Youngstown State Penguins
Go Buckeyes
Some information and statistics are from Wikipedia search Youngstown State.
The Buckeyes shouldn't have been in the Championship game last year... sure they backed into that game... sure they lost...
It was supposed to be a rebuilding year ...
But they couldn't help it that some "other" teams out there couldn't handle their buisness..
They went and lost...Yes I know all about how overated they are.. and how they are 0-9 against the S.E.C...and how they are so slow that they use sundiles to time the players 40 times..
But there is one thing that you can't say about Ohio State and that is that they don't have any fans...Through thick and thin...Loss Or win...Cold or Hot..We are there and will continue to be there untill the end..
They have some of the best fans in all of college football and will travel to any city any where any time and will cheer the Bucks on in any hostile environment.
I have been lucky enough to have been alive for 2 of Ohio States National Championships and I have a feeling I might see one more in my lifetime...
They are bigger... stronger...faster..than last year... and who knows the third time just may be a charm....
and then I can say Iv'e been alive for three National Championships.
But whatever the outcome of this season I will still be a fan...
Because thats what true fans do they stick it through untill the end.
Today I had to leave work early for I had Some really bad symtoms I was at my witts end. So I went to my family MD. to find out what the heck was wrong with me well the news I'm sorry to say is bad news really bad news in fact its horrible news.
After extensive testing and all kinds of bloodwork my Dr. broke the bad news to me I had a severe case of Lackof footballidis (Lack -*Lak- Of -Football- *Idis) he claimed it was the worst case hes ever seen and recomended a specialist.
After I went to the new Doc. he explained to me that my Football Lobe was underactive. Here in the illustration the lobe mentioned is pictured.
He told me that not filling the football lobe with acts of two teams going after it on the field and the sounds of cheering crowds and the sights and sounds of hard hitting linebackers and safetys colliding with running backs at full speed is whats wrong with me.
He said it can lead to severe depression and restlessness and mood changes almost like Tourettes Syndrome #### *#### damnit to* #### hell #### son of a #### * eh sorry bout that it can happen at any time.
But there is some good news I guess its cureable I guess some time soon I will get the needed information that the Football lobe needs and then it will become active and the healing will begin and I should be back to normal in no time (maybe).
Do you like your team/driver/whatever --then you are a fan.
A fan, aficionado or supporter is someone who has an intense, occasionally overwhelming liking of a sporting club, person, group of persons, company, product, work of art, idea, or trend. Fans of a particular thing constitute its fanbase or fandom. They may start a fanclub, hold fan conventions , create fanzines, write fan mail, or engage in similar activities such as blogs..
In a few cases, individual fans may become so fascinated with the objects of their infatuation that they become obsessive. These fans engage in behaviors that are considered extreme or abnormal. This includes idolatry or other forms of worship such as creating a personal shrine dedicated to the idol at one's home, and can sometimes extend to the point of the fans becoming stalkers . I have seen fans who go overboard and have seen fans with the personal shrines to their football team.
Some fans do push the envolope and go into a relm that I don't think has a description maybe crazy would be close. I root for my team but do try to show respect to the oposing teams fans..but sometimes it dosnt matter how you treat a person they are just a bleep hole and for that there is no cure at least not to my knowledge..
So I am here to wish your team /driver/whatever good luck and I hope we as fans can show each other respect and keep our cool in whatever situation may arise and remember life is to short so lets have fun watching our favorites and give others the same respect we would ask for ourselves..
Lou Holtz is a man you just have to love and yeah he reminds me a little of this guyThe lovable Sylvester ... Hes great at his Locker room Talks and was a Respected coach at Notre Dame as was credited to Bringing SC back to prominence...
Lou Holtz is now in the College Football Hall of Fame and to me thats a great honor considering the company he is in now..
WELL IVE BEEN GONE A MINUTE, BEEN IN THE RAINFOREST RACING SLOTHS
YOU MAY NOT THINK THESE SUCKERS ARE FAST BUT LOOKS MANY TIMES ARE DECEIVING I INCOUNTERED ONE ON A RECENT TRIP INTO THE RAINFOREST,WHERE MY EYES WERE OPENED TO A FASINATING NEW SPORT.
"RACING SLOTHS" THE ONE I ENCOUNTERED (RICO MUSWAVY) WAS HIS NAME ,
TOOK ME TO HIS VILLAGE WHERE I WAS INTRODUCED TO THIS SPORT, THESE CREATURES ARE VERY SOCIABLE AND LOVE THE GREEN STUFF (COUGH),AFTER SETTLING INTO THEIR TREETOP FORTRESS I SOON NOTICED THEM RACING, I COULDN'T BELIEVE HOW FAST THEY WERE,
THEY WERE RACING OVER TO A NEARBY TREE AND SLAPPING AN OLDER SLOTH RIGHT IN THE KISSER, NO SURPRISE HE WASN'T HAPPY AND BEGAN CHASING THEM BACKTO THE OTHER TREE.THIS IS WHERE SPORT INSUED. NOW THIS OLDER SLOTH WAS PRETTY DAMNQUICK AND CAUGHT ONE OF THEM AND SLAPPED HIM INTO NEXT WEEK,
IT WAS A RIOT,AFTER WATCHING THIS FOR AN HOUR AND 1/2 I FINALY GOT THE COURAGE TO GIVE IT A WHIRL.WITH A LITTLE ENCOURAGEMENT FROM (RICO) AND A LITTLE MORE OF THE GREEN STUFF(COUGH) I CLIMBED TO THE EDGE OF THE TREE.
THEN " OFF I WAS" GAINING MOMENTUM I COULD SEE MYSELF GETTING CLOSERTO THE OLD SLOTH GETTING EVEN CLOSER I NOTICED HE HAD A GRIN FROM EAR TO EAR.(GULP)
FINDING MY INNER COURAGE I SLAPPED THAT SUCKER SO HARD I THOUGHT I HAD BROKE MY WRIST, I THINK IT SURPRISED HIM I DON'T THINK HE'S EVERBEEN HIT THAT HARD BEFORE, I DIDN'T STICK AROUND BECAUSE I KNEW HE WAS PISSED OFF,
SO I TURNED AND STARTED TRUCKIN BACK TO THE OTHER TREE.IT WASN'T LONG BEFORE I HEARD THE SOUND (THAT TO THIS DAY WILL MAKE ME PEE MY PANTS) A GROWL AND HISSING SOUND THAT SOUNDED LIKE A HEAVY METAL SINGER GARGELING BROKEN GLASS, AND THEN I FELT A CLAW GRABBINGMY LEG,
AT THAT POINT I SCREAMED LIKE A FOUR YEAR OLD GIRL.WHICH TO MY SURPRISE SCARED HIM THIS WAS MY CHANCE TO ESCAPE AND I MADE IT SAFELY TO MY TREE,
WHEN I GOT THERE I WAS GREETED BY (RICO) HE WAS LAUGHING SO HARD I THINK HE HAD AN ACCIDENT IT WAS FUN BUT I DOUBT I'LL TRY IT AGAIN.SO IF YOUR EVER IN THE RAIN FOREST AND MEET A SLOTH NAMED (RICO)
I am a football fan first and foremost I will root for any team as long as their not playing the Buckeyes and am also a Nascar fan and root for Dale Jr. and Tony Stewart I like humor and jokes and stay away from politics and religion I have a black belt in crowbar and baseball bat .
