Joakim Noah got arrested on Sunday for carrying an alcoholic beverage in public and a big ol'' Ganja cigarette in his pocket.
Now its not for certain if he was hanging out with Josh Howard or Ricky Williams at the time But it wouldnt have surprised me.
Now I know it was just a little of the hemp and should be no big deal" right mon" But then again he is in a leauge that has supposed drug tests and is a supposed role model for kids that beg for his autograph even if a player dosnt want to be a role model for kids aka C.Barkley it comes with that big fat paycheck you get..
Maybe he invested in the wizzanator to pass these tests or maybe its ok to puff the green in the NBA..Who knows but it seems to happen alot..correct me if im wrong but didnt Parrish get arrested years ago for recieving like a pound in his mailbox..Talk about lazy (just send it to me)..Next time get in the car and go get it like everyone else..
I personally dont have a problem with people smoking a little of the ganja as long as their not around children and do it in a peacefull manner. I bet there are more crimes commited by people drinking alcohol than people smoking herb..
But it is still illigal in most of the country and you are risking alot by doing so and even risking moreso if you are an athlete.
Truly, as far as MJ is concerned, I don't think it should be illegal. I'm thinking in terms of the costs involved with enforcing the law... I think if the truth was known the dangers from weed are less than those from alcohol use and abuse... If they had an age limit like they do with alcohol I think we'd all be better off as a society... I can assure anyone out there that the use doesn't lead to stronger drugs...

Texas prisons are full of folks that got caught with the killer weed! Ive been a member of "Normal" since the 70's. It dont make sense! I have to leave it alone or I will go back and the Cboy dont like the slammer!!!
The cleaner way is the old bong hit, not that I have ever tryed them, the water gergaling makes me laught to much. Again not that I have used one. Also when you knock it over onto the carpet is a big deal to clean that smelly water out of it. again not that I have used one. When buying one you can't ask for it by calling it a bong, its water pipe, That I have used.

Legal or not Noah and in particular his father ought to respect the laws of the land.
His father was the proverbial pothead throughout much of his professional tennis career. Hence the reason his career ended all too abruptly. He was probably too high much of the time to realize where he was.

Being what I am, rather, was....I oppose drugs that fall into certain categories.........
Really did some serious forensic research on "weed" for a term paper...took the whole semester to complete....Found that the "main ingrediant" in marijuana also spelled marihuana is THC (look it up). It attaches to brain cells and never "leaves". THC is also contained in LSD......Just like nicotine, distilled, can kill you so can THC in the right dose. Heavy "dopers" have tended to do less well on certain tests than previously...same #### for alcoholics too, so.....
Casual use is not so bad, but then, why damamge your brain cells.....you know your body metabolizes alcohol at one ounce per hour....more than that it starts killing brain cells.....and booze is legal as are cigarettes, why add another?
Ah, well.....that's my opinion....I think I'll find that paper, got me an A plus for the course of study and post it .........

Fuzz--good report there and im sure its not healthy for anyone im jus sayiny if compared weed is probably less likely to make you crazy as to do crimes.. I did a test once (long Time Ago)and I do know for a fact that no bag of potato chips or twinkies are safe when under the influence of the herb..thanks for the visit I appreciate it...JW

I know that weed can help cancer patients regain there hunger after chemotherapy and it also help prevent glaucoma and improves night vision there are many medical uses for the drug and should be legal..

Joakim's father won the French Open in '83 his lone Grand Slam event win. However he parlayed it into a successful recording artist in France primarily. That ought to tell you all you need to know.
He's also known to actively enjoy the sacred bud of life all to frequently.
As to Joakim perhaps someone ought to tell his stupid #### that you don't walk around the streets of Gainesville with alcohol in one hand a bag of weed in your pocket.
