With the recent success of Kyle Bush I see fans appearing out of the woodwork...Granted there are the K.Busch fans that have been there all along then theres the K.Busch fans that couldn't name five drivers if their life depended on it...
I am not against someone being a fan of anybody in any sport I am only against Bandwagon fans that have no clue as to what they are talking about and when their driver or whoever does well they brag about them as if they are related..
My question is when your team/driver/whatever the case may be isn't doing so well were are they I look around and its as if they got pulled into another dimension...(poof their gone)...Twilight Zone type ####..
My only advice to these band wagon fans is this we want to see you when your team/driver/whatever isn't doing so well ......example:New England band wagon fans they had hundreds of post before they lost the superbowl after the game it was like a ghost town..
I could hear the clint eastwood theme and tumble weeds rolling in the baren spaces that a week earlier were a thriving blog room..
And don't worry we can tell the difference by your(my guy/team/whatever is so much better than yours)..and by your complete lack of knowledge on the subject your hoopin and hollering about ..Nobody likes a phony and nobody likes a band wagon fan...
Now me Im a fan of JR. just so we are clear and I also Like Tony Stewart ..Jr. hasnt won a race in over two seasons but im still a fan and will not desert my driver just because hes not doing so well..But I 'll be the first to let you know when he wins..
Good one, JW. 2 or 3 years ago, all that red #### clothing in the stands wasn't just Bud red. Kasey Kahne had a lot of wagon jumpers back then. Most of them, except the women, have moved on to the next hot driver.
One of my best friends back in school used to change football teams every year. We always knew who his favorite team was...Whoever won the Super Bowl the year before, unless they started doing bad. Then he would jump on the new bandwagon.
Does your bandwagon include first year fans of NASCAR that happen to like this young guy? Does that constitute a "bandwagon" person? If so, then I guess I qualify. Anyone else?
Dwindy--I know when you started liking K.Busch and also know you took the time to reserch the sport before commenting on it you have done a great job in your Nascar posts so no I wouldnt call you a bandwagon fan a little looney buy hey someone has to root for him..lol
That doesn't look at all like a bandwagon......I'll try to find you one, but then again, I still don't know how to post pictures, followed your directions, but......////btw some clown in Seattle is picking the Clowns, er ah, the Browns top be AFC North champs...can you imagine!!!! Penquins won 4 to 2!!
I climbed on the Tony Stewart Bandwagon in about 99 I think and believe me there were times when I could've and probably should've jumped back off. But I didnt. And here we are today..lol. And yanno, one little thing that made it worth it (love him or hate him) was the second time he climbed the fence at Indy and immediately told the reporters that "that one was for the fans who've put up with all the #### through the years". Something small but something for a long time fan to really enjoy hearin. :D
Sweetkena--I added you to my freinds list--and at least you stuck with him thats what true fans do..and I love it when he climbs the fence..thanks for stopping by.
Fuzz--I seen annother pic of like 300 people on a coupla buses but for some reason couldn't download the pic will try to find another one..thanks for the visit
Photogr..Mikey's been struggleing but it makes it that much sweeter when he gets the win some things are worth the wait...Like a JR. win..thanks for dropping by..
LOL. This is great. Well, as long as the bands keep playing and the wagons keep rolling I'm going to stay with Burton, Kenseth, and Mears. Not a lot to cheer about lately, but I'm sticking with my guys.
JW,
If commenters say they love Kyle Boosh and are huge Hendrix Motorsports fans is that a clue as to what wagon they are on and how long they have been there? Just curious.
Now me, I've stuck with Geoff Gordone since he first came to what ever the series used to be before Cup officials switched wagons a few times.
Cheers.
