Good GAWD, man...those are phenomenal numbers!..Wonder if any one else in history has ever had a start of the season like that in history?...I'm sayin' "No"..
anytime anybody beats the yanks I am happy, sure wish the red sox had him, lugo 9 errors already, sox need to lift him from the lineup for a while, his error last night mostly cost the sox the game vs tigers
1981 Valenzuela started 8-0 with 0.50 era...got that from Wikipedia...don't know iffit's BEST start ever but HOLY S_it!!!...That wuz 2nd name that popped up in my head...
Lee pitched seven scoreless innings, lowering his ERA to 0.81. Since the end of World War II, only three pitchers have won their first six starts while posting a lower ERA: Fernando Valenzuela (0.33) in 1981, Roger Clemens (0.73) in 1991 and Pedro Martinez (0.79) in 1997.
Lee became the first Indians pitcher to win his first six starts since Greg Swindell in 1988 and lowered his major league-best ERA to a microscopic 0.81. Way to go Lee!!!
Orange u glad--Thanks for dropping in and Swindell was a good pitcher I cant remember if he was right or left handed pitcher..Got love C.lee dudes determined this season he never wants to see another farm team again..lol
Moseby...ha ha your funny lets see what happens this season when they play the Browns..and The Indians were so close last year but didnt get it done... lets hope they can do it this year..but ive been a fan since they were consistant celler dwellers so any time they have a winning season Im happy...thanks for the visit..
Well you aint gettin the sweep but your boy did pitch another gem last night 7 innings no runs no walks and 7 Ks . i'm still lookin to trade Verlander.
He's pitching very well for me thanks. lol Don't forget about Volquez who is 5-1 with about a 1.08 era. I have Lee,Sheets,Volquez,Lincecum,Vazquez , Harden and Scherzer......good times for this first time fantasy geek.

Wait until Lee faces the rest of the league. The teams he has faced so far are a combined 86-89. Does anybody remember Andy Hawkins? Probably not, but one year he started 10-0. Statistical anomalies are abundant in baseball.
How about this one. Hawkins pitched a no hitter and lost 4-0.
I am a football fan first and foremost I will root for any team as long as their not playing the Buckeyes and am also a Nascar fan and root for Dale Jr. and Tony Stewart I like humor and jokes and stay away from politics and religion I have a black belt in crowbar and baseball bat I love dancing with Kangaroos and cliff diving into a swimming pool
Who needs a stupid counter anyway either you read it or you didn't..JW
