Seeing Red
Jun 07, 2008 | 7:31PM | report this

First, a big CONGRATULATIONS to Brad Keselowski.  Of course, I didn't get to actually see it, or his celebration!

DirecTV should be castrated... or ESPN, I'm not sure which.  Anybody else miss the ending of this great race from Nash-Vegas?

After all the wait, the mishaps, the 'almosts', being wrecked by Mark Martin earlier this year ... you done it!

Guess I'll go hunt down a video.

Awww, Lori, that rotten. I was having ISP problems the whole race but managed to stay on line at the end. I hope you get to see it. And yes, WTG, Brad!

Amanda - it was quite anti-climatic that's for sure. I'm sorry you were having problems, but glad you saw the end :)

I've actually found the videos on nascar.com now. That was a GREAT pass he made on Bowyer. His mom was just adorable.

Yes, WTG Brad!

Had the family over riding Go-carts in my back yardthis evening(yeah i have a really big yard) so i didnt get to see the race, but i had a feeling Keeslowski would win today. He looked pretty fast in qualifying and practice.

What happened to your dream boy Joey Logano? I see he finished 31st.

Thanks cuda! Gotta give credit to my spotter, The Six Million Dollar Man, with his bionic eye and all! He said, "Slow, slow, slow...STOP!!" (As chaos was unfolding ahead of me)

Hot Foot:

The wife mentioned that too while I was doing a honey do list last night. We have Direct TV too. She thought it odd that they cut away before the race was over.

Glad to see Brad win a race. He was due one.

Cuda - yeah, the Biff was at it again.

Jon - absolutely, big Congrats.

Dwindy - I think it was DirecTV.

Forensic - what a mess. I did find a video on nascar.com.

Photo - Yes, it ticked me off that the coverage just went away with 10 laps to go. Oh well.

I did get to see the end of the race on Direct TV, but I was recording it, as I have vowed to not watch a live race. Congrats to the 88 team!

Direct TV also blocked my signal somehow on the Sprint cup race so I could not rewind it...I could go forward but not rewind while the race was still live...pretty weird eh? I think COMCAST may be in my future!
