Barack Obama Is A Baller
Jun 16, 2008 | 4:56PM | report this

Jimmy Kimmel talked politics and hoops with Presidential candidate Barack Obama yesterday.

If Obama is elected, he plans on replacing the White House's bowling alley with a basketball court.

Barack thinks "Kobe Bryant is the best player in the world." And he "didn't anticipate Boston manhandling the Lakers the way they have so far."

Neither did I Mr. Obama.

Neither did I.

kellyscott - Good one.

TheSizzel - Yeah, I heard about that. I posted the video of the last incident at my site. The altercation was beyond dumb but who goes to a showing of a playoff game wearing the opposing team's jersey?

I would never buy a ticket to watch a showing of a Lakers-Nuggets game at the Pepsi Center. What's the point? My team isn't playing live in Denver so why would I want to watch the game with 20,000 of the opposing team's fans?

Doesn't make much sense to me.

It's a shame you moved back to Ohio, you could have taken out an ad in the LA Times and invited all of those unruly fans over to your house for the game.

yeah hoffman,

that seems to be a popular reaction from what i've seen.

the celtic fans should have worn laker jerseys.

what difference does it make if the game is live, or simulcast?

in a bar or an arena?

in detroit or denver?

way to justify laker nations actions.

shocker.

Lol. I'm not justifying or condoning anything.

I don't think the fans who were assaulted should have worn Lakers jerseys either. I just question why they would want to be there in the first place.

As a basketball fan, it's another reason my vote is for Barak this fall.

"Who goes to a showing of a playoff game wearing the opposing team's jersey?

apparently, someone who believes he won't be in physical danger in a major US sports facility, just because he supports the opposing team.

I for one hope the perpetrators were caught and charged for their CRIME !

I apologize if the video offended you. Kimmel and Obama didn't really talk too much politics.

I thought the clip was humorous in nature.

You're right, and so do I.

>Father Daughter Talk
>
>A young woman was about to finish her first year of college. Like so
>many others her age, she considered herself to be a very liberal
>Democrat, and was very much in favor of the redistribution of wealth.
>
>She was deeply ashamed that her father was a rather staunch Republican,
>a feeling she openly expressed. Based on the lectures that she had
>participated in, and the occasional chat with a professor, she felt
>that her father had for years harbored an evil, selfish desire to keep
>what he thought should be his.

>One day she was challenging her father on his opposition to higher

>The self-professed objectivity proclaimed by her professors had to be

>how she was doing in school.

>Taken aback, she answered rather haughtily that she had a 4.0 GPA, and

>The father slowly smiled, winked and said gently, "Welcome to the
>Republican Party."

This is the "change" Barak Hussein Obama speaks of.
Wealth redistribution is a tried and true method of Marxism.
For me, race has nothing to do with it.
I would vote for a green skinned alien if he held the Constitution up as the beacon of truth.
The only "change" with the Democrats will be what's left in your pockets.

God help us.

Figures that the terroist would come up with a basketball court in the white house.

If i am elected president I would have a 1/4 mile dirt track on the white house lawn and charge free admission for the races..

Photogr for President.

Bleed:

Quite a fitting parable. I liked it .

Bleed -- Funny one. Thanks.

Hoff -- Clicking the video just brings up a message that says, "We're sorry, this video is no longer available."

Worst -- The #### Lakers fans should look at it this way: let opposing fans come. It just means the opposition is buying tickets and supporting the Lakers. That's like the Taliban making contributions to George W. Bush's re-election fund or something.

I can't believe they canceled it though. How 'bout more security and less alcohol?

Bush is the "terrorist".

Worst president EVER, probably not a very good bowler!

Excellent job ruining the economy and ruining the USA'S reputation worldwide. Unless you are a millionaire, work for Halliburton, or big oil, you are in a much worse place than before the election was stolen by Jeb and the Supreme Court.

Republicans unfortunately have betrayed the defenders of the Constitution, we have lost more freedom under this administration than in the rest of the country's entire history.

Now, it's the party of warmongering and torture...
