this is the dumbest blog i've ever read. there aren't even any picks here, and barely any pictures. how in the hell are we supposed to know what you are trying to say?
When I first loaded it there was nothing but text on my screen, but the logos are there now.
Oh well, that makes my Rooster joke meaningless.
Since I've become resigned to my inability to correctly pick outcomes, I'm going to go for consistency, right or wrong.
Lol.
Therefore, Rockets win, as based on one game the Jazz are back to "pretender" status.
Suns win, since I have stated the Spurs are clearly in decline.
And finally, Cavs win, because in spite of how crappy they have looked since the trade (or Vogue cover), I granted them "contender" status, and a Wizards victory would ruin that statement. (This last pick is my least favorite, Cavs look done, but it is what it is).
A farmer wanted to have his hens serviced, so he went to the market looking for a rooster. He was hoping he could get a special rooster and told this to the market vendor.
The vendor replied: "I have just the rooster for you. Randy here is the horniest rooster you will ever see!"
So the farmer bought Randy and took him back to the farm. Before setting him loose in the hen house, though, he gave Randy a little pep talk: "Randy," he said, "I'm counting on you to do your stuff." And with that, Randy strutted into the hen house.
Randy was as fast as he was furious, mounting each hen like a thunderbolt. There was much squawking and many feathers flying, till Randy had finished having his way with each hen. But, Randy didn't stop there.
Randy went into the barn and mounted all of the horses, one by one, and still at the same frantic pace.
Then he went to the pig house, where he did the same.
The farmer, watching all of this with disbelief cried out, "Stop, Randy! You'll kill yourself!" But Randy continued, seeking out each farm animal in the same manner.
Well, the next morning, the farmer looked out and saw Randy lying there on his lawn. His legs were up in the air, his eyes rolled back, and his long tongue hanging out. A buzzard was already circling above Randy.
The farmer walked up to Randy saying, "Oh you poor thing, look what you did, you've gone and killed yourself. I warned you, little buddy."
"Shhhhhhh," Randy whispered, "The buzzard's getting closer."
i want, hope and pray that the cowtown crapaliers can get past those big mouthed wizards. however i am not so blinded by my hometown team/ player bias that i won't pick against them.
you seem to forget i bet REAL MONEY on NBA playoff games.
you should try it sometime. it's a sure cure for homerism, and might just give you a whole new perspective on the game you love.
it seems that for you reality is all about your "perception" for me reality is all about reality.
i'm still just doing all i can to be as real as it gets.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Bron-Bron put his team on his back again. I guess I'm just counting on a little more resistance from DeShawn Stevenson than Tayshaun Prince put up last year.
Cleveland isn't near the defensive team they were last season either.
I agree with all the picks... on some conditions. If Manu isn't healthy, I can see Phoenix pulling an upset (assuming Robert Horry doesn't hipcheck Steve Nash again!). And the same goes for the Wizards (although they're getting healthy at the right time). Otherwise, solid picks.

About the only thing now that's a certainty with regard to the playoffs. Is that we'll have a team from the east and one from the west meeting in the Finals.
As to who they'll actually be is most certainly open to conjecture and debate.
All that's needed is for one team's premier player to suffer an injury serious or not and their whole postseason presence could go up in smoke.
Thanks. I think you're right about Ginobili. Shaq, Duncan, and Amare will get theirs but I think the series will be decided by Manu and Grant Hill. Hill is going to have to play HUGE defensively for Phoenix.
I love basketball. While many basketball fans enjoy the month of March, I prefer the months of April, May, and June. I look forward to productive chats, heated debates, and honest opinions.
