Prison Quarterback
Apr 08, 2008 | 9:21AM | report this

Michael Vick is going both ways in prison. Slick Vick is quarterbacking both sides in the prison football games. I guess Paul Crewe is too old to get any reps? The real Crewe, not that half-assed Sandler. Apparently it's just inmate on inmate action----just like after lights out----without the guards having a team. Mean Machine, Mean Machine....

                                             We got next

Vick is doing his time in the United States Penitentiary at Leavenworth, Kansas. Ooohh, that sounds tough. It may be, but Vick is actually in something called a minimum security satellite prison camp. Sounds almost as rough as the NASA Space Camp I attended one summer. Now that was tough, 200 nerds with no bullys to keep them in line.

This is a Virginia Tech communications major.

According to the New York Daily News, Atlanta Falcons owner, Arthur Blank, and Vick have been exchanging love letters. Blank confirmed that Vick sent him a letter first-----Do you like me? Check yes, or no----then Blank fired one back. Blank also blabbed that Kevin Winston, a Falcons executive, has visited Vick several times at Space Camp....er, I mean prison camp. Blank says that he has no plans to visit Vick. What a tease.

Prison sure has aged Vick, seen here with a 'friend' of his.

If you are one of several that Vick owes money to, first, Ha Ha, you deserve to lose it, and second, it might take awhile to recoup your #### investment. See, your meal ticket, Vick, is washing dishes in the joint for 12 cents an hour. Nice to see all those business courses at Tech paid off.

Vick's still learning exactly what goes in the dishwasher.

Vick seemingly had it all. ####, fighting dogs, leaching relatives, and a hollowed out plastic water bottle. Now can he come back and turn his life around? Will 23 months in the big house straighten him out? Will he appreciate everything that he once had? What would be your one word answer to those questions? "Either, get busy livin', or get busy playin' quarterback."

I knew the remake was going to s--k when ESPN said that Sean Salisbury was training Sandler how to throw the football. Sean Salisbury? Maybe if he was showing the boy how to inhale Summer Hummers or Alabama Slammers at the local brewpub. But throw a football? Well at least all of the WWE wrestlers were pretty funny. Kevin Nash and the estrogen bottle? LOL, damn that was good.

moseby....I couldn't make it all the way through the remake. 15 or 20 minutes was all I could take.

I love Salisbury on TV, and he's even better on the radio.

Greatest line ever on ESPN...."If you're scared, buy a dog.".......Sean Salisbury

You do know that Salisbury got "fired" from ESPN, don't you? They didn't renew his contract.

I used to like his bluntness, but then he turned into every other "analyst" at that place - an opinion spouter who changes his mind every time the weather changes.

mose....yeah I knew he was fired. Didn't he go to the NFL Network? Not that it matters, as my 800 channels don't include it. Thanks Comcast.

He was also great in that little league baseball movie with Rob Schneider.

Haven't seen him yet. But I don't turn the NFL Network back on from the SB until after draft day. So it could be that he is there. Rich Eisen gives me the creeps, though....

Correct-a-mundo on Eisen.

Could you believe some TV newswoman was stalking him? She didn't look too bad either. From Philly I believe.

Hey Hanahan!

The Vick crew is comin' for you!

I heard Sean left of his own volition to seek greater challenges... Wonder what that means?

Not sure about that Dwindy. He had been suspended for awhile after a "drinking" incident like Dana Jacobsen's. Think at that time ESPN was looking to replace him with someone more "mouse" friendly.

Hanahan, I'm sure as hell not a sixty minute man...

Check this out... Seems Vick continues to sell Blank a bill of goods:
The odds that Michael Vick recently played football for a federal prison team are about as good as the chances of escaping Alcatraz, federal prisons officials say. Sure, the former Atlanta Falcons quarterback might have tossed the ball around with a few inmates at the Leavenworth Federal Penitentiary Camp, officials said Monday. But he didn't become an inmate at the Kansas facility in time to suit up for the prison football season. Their assessment contradicts published reports that Vick played for teams in Kansas, staying in shape by tossing the ball. Vick, convicted of federal dogfighting charges in December, arrived at the minimum-security prison in January, said Tracy Billingsley, a spokesperson for the U.S. Bureau of Prisons. He was too late for the football season, which includes only a handful of games. "They only play [football] in the fall," she said. -- Atlanta Journal-Constitution

The papers say he is paying for protection-Does that mean the pocket is collasping around him or he is getting dogged??? That "going both ways" sounds sorta freaky!!!

The dog in the dishwasher is the absolute perfect picture. Where did you find it? I think we'll see him in the NFL again simply because of the talent...and our constant need to forgive one transgression in hopes that there will be another one on a grander scale. Not that I think it would be right. Doesn't say much for our society but...there is a certain history, eh!!!

That is one tough damn dog. Although he did probably like the 'sprinkler' in the dishwashing machine. Must have been on cool cycle.

Regardless of where Mike has spent time, believe me, it has been tough. From silks a furs, and million dollar abodes.............to a jail cell. No freedom, maybe a TV here and there. Wake up time. Problem is, it probably scared him. He has never been scared before. Call it Tysonism. He won't have that edge anymore. He has been beat. He has been beat down. He will never be the same player he was on that magical night in the Superdome in College against FSU for all the marbles. That was the night that everyone expected to see in the Pro's. For the rest of his career. Never happended. And sadly. Never will. Aww......... ####, my dog just laid a loaf on my carpet. Time to get another dog I guess.

I google image searched dishwashers and came up with the pup.

Doubtful. I could also be talking about the Virginia Tech vs. Florida State National Championship game in 1999 when Michael Vick led Va Tech to a 4th quarter lead over the mightily favored Florida State Seminoles. Before that game, Vick was hype. After that game he became the #1 overall pick in the NFL draft.

Nost....that still sounds like V. Young. "Before that game (USC-BCS-NC), Young was all hype."

You see Young doing more in the NFL than Vick, and that's not much? I don't.

Hey Hanahan,

You are one sick Bas#$@%. Vick’s left hand has a tat too on it. Vick's body in your picture from the shoulders down does not fit the contour of his head.

There was no call for this BS you posted. Once again the dumb downing of America is showing on your part. You are so weak minded.

You don't have to see racism here. It is visible. How many dog fighting stories you have heard on the news lately? The national average is still about 900 a week nation wide, so what happen?

Lisa H

This is funny? What are you snorting?

You guys are quick to cut down racism but here is the example. No one has posted ONE SINGLE blog about the NBA official betting scandle to fix games or affect the outcome of games for profit. If he were an African American would you possibly have drawn him in a picture in a prison jail cell with a slot machine or black table and basketball rim over his bed or something. No you would not nor have you even thought about it until I wrote this blog.
