Hello, FOX Bloggers and FOXY Bloggers alike, this is Mike Greenspire, and I am here to award the first annual Pittsburgh Sportsman of the Year Award!

The award goes to the best player or coach in Pittsburgh Pro sports of the past year, starting in August 2007, and going to July 2008. Any Pittsburgh sportsman in that time period is eligible for votes!

I have limited the field down to 3 contestants, based on the sportsman with the most votes for each professional team in the 'Burgh! Vote on only ONE of these three!

Evgeni Malkin

Nate McLouth

	tigervidmar Jul 21, 2008 11:02 AM		the QB play in the NFL is so marginal i've rated Big Ben in the top five. steeler fan do not get to crazy with ben this year he gots a makeshift line and a coach who has not sold anyone on his ability . i also do not like the discord with the rooney bros. i bleed purple but the iron men are my consolation prize in the big game...... MALKIN IS MY CHOICE *****

	thesupposedbuckles Jul 24, 2008 9:07 AM		Sticking with Geno. No slight on Ben, he had a great year, but Geno carried his team during a crucial stretch and was solid in the playoffs despite a late fade.
