Mike,
Definatly HOF first ballot. Top 5 QB in my opinion. I have some others I believe just by watching that were better. I know stats say what they say but I am just going by what I seen with my own eyes.
Brett and Butter
it now seems that to many BreenBay has lost their brett and Butter for the Packer team and fans, Is it right for so many, and myself to wish just one more year Brett, i think it is right to wish for that. is it right to feel let down, or to have any hard feeelings of him saying look ive had enough, NO. it is time to say THANK YOU, Thank you for what you have done for our tiny town for the people of Green Bay, for the people and football players that love the game of football, key word GAME. lets all thank Brett for what he has done and how he did it, show our children of what they can do if they really want to, on how how it hard work can do so much for you and youre friends, Brett enjoy youre new life, enjoy youre family, show off youre frist 14 point buck to the world. THANKS
Gambit- defintitely Top 5. I'd be interested in hearing who you have above him.
scott- Thank you for dropping by. He truly was the beating heart of the Packers organization. I wonder what Rodgers cand o for them. He'll be hard-pressed to get them back into the playoffs.
WOW! Wait until he gets inducted, then sell it for boo-koo bucks! Nah, kidding, keep it as a reminder that you witnessed the single-greatest player of all time finalize his career.
1.Joe Montana
2.John Elway
3.Bret Favre
4.Dan Marino
5.Troy Aikman
Now consider this is only guys I have had the privalage of seeing with my own eyes. Also I do not base these on stats,SBrings or MVP's. Solely based on just my opinion of who I thought were the best.
Favre's going to the HOF (in an aside, John Madden will probably induct him!). But I've got him, on my list, behind Montana, Elway and John Unitas. Still, he has the major records, and he helped make Green Bay relevant again, so he deserves acclaim.
Brett the best QB of all times, 1st thats to hard to say haveing to take the teams some of the other great QB's played on,to have team's of the same tallent would be imposable to find and that would be the only way something like this could be judged,I how ever will say i dont think there are many that loved the game itself or played any harder than brett did. ROOKIE card i had the tops stadium club rookie of his and sold that back near 1998 for 110.00 that was the rare one to get the others at that time were going for about 8.0-15.00 i think,i have not done much with cards in many years, now would be a good time to see about selling it , get a beckett price guide to see the vaule, selling that card in WI.would add more vaule and selling it in green bay would add even more, see what you can get if you dont like the prices then wait until 8-2 months before the hall of fame and that could be the very best time to sell, dont wait untill after that time as the prices will be dropping,as after that the people that wanted the card will have had it, remember it is just like the stock market, good luck, and may a gator never get hold of bretts right hand while he is fishing.
