Uh-oh. Steeler fans have been blindsided by a very rare move called "The Good Cleveland Move". It is very seldom seen, but has struck 4 times just today and yesterday. This is really scary. I mean, APOCALYPSE scary.
The Cleveland Browns re-signed QB Derek Anderson just 10 hours after the RFA period started. This guys is incredible.
That was scare #1
The Browns also extended Jamal Lewis's contract, keeping him as a Brown for a while. That's one more thign for the Steelers defense to worry about.
That's scare #2
The Cleveland Browns, contrary to what I, and other FOX Sports NFL Writers reported, have landed DT Shaun Rogers from the Detroit Lions.
That was scare #3
This is by far the scariest move yet. If you have children, please cover thier eyes and ears. The Cleveland Browns... SOMEHOW, SOMEWAY... acquired Donte Stallworth from the Patriots.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHH! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!
-Mike Greensp...
There's someone over there. HEY! Who are you? What is that on your face? It's... no it can't be!
IT'S A COMPETITIVE CLEVELAND BROWN! AND HE'S WEARING THE DAWG MASK! SOMEONE SAVE ME!
man, youve been rippen it up since you got your computer fixed, take a breath, relax, pace yourself.
1&2 they had last year and it wasnt enough, but, with the other two additions they should be better but if the steelers shore up that Oline it will be buisines as usual, dont panic just yet.
Mike,
Hurry up and just pull out the pepper spray on his arse! LOL! Steelers might finaly get some competition from the Browns now...(cough) yeah right!
P.S. What you think about my Saints getting Vilma for a conditional pick? Sounds like a steal to me.
The competition started again in 07.With these additions however, now it's really on.
I like the Steelers way of building through the draft and keeping key guys in key places. I believe the only places we need help are on the O and D lines.
If Ben has time to throw again with the plethora of weapons on offense, I like the Steelers chances.
That being said. It's great to see the return of the Browns to the playoff mix. I think the devoted fans of Cleveland deserve it and it brings back one of the best rivalries in football. I'm excited and ready to watch both contests in 08.

Cleveland has been making the right moves, just like we would. Trade picks for starters. I don't see why it doesn't happen more.
My Vikes are signing good players, too.
blue@orange, LOL. Yes, the Steelers lost Faneca, but they'll still be strong. Cleveland has greatly improved their team. *dusting off the brake dust from the bus he was thrown under*
Despite the alarming rate of intelligence that seems to be emitting from somewhere near the northern area of Ohio, I'm not too worried. They always find a way to lose, lol. But seriously, I do actually see them as a potential threat with a rising star in Anderson and an speedy gamebreaker in Stallworth. They now have a solid core of WR's with him, Joe, Edwards and Winslow. But I think Jamal is getting too slow and won't be as much of an impact and everyone hopes and/or believes. If the steelers can address the O-Line and pass rush troubles, I don't see how we won't win the divison yet again.
blue@orange- It's hard with so much excitement going on around!
Jon- No, I'm not gonna be in denial about it. This absolutely does make them the best team as of now in the North. There's still plenty of off-season left, hopefully, the Steelers will make a move to cancel these ones out.
blue@orange- Uh-oh.
Gambit- Worst move of the week. By far. The system that Mangini runs didn't work so well with Vilma, but he's worth more than a 2nd or 3rd round pick, whihc is what I think they're gonna end up with (NYJ) Take care!
MeanD- I dunno, they seem to be wanting to win for a change.
6fig- It certainly does. This will be an exciting rivalry in 2008.
sls- They are, and it's a step in the right direction, which is back to the playoffs. I think that thye should draft Henne form Michigan with their 1st-Round Pick. I just don't see Jackson being able to lead this team in the passing game in the playoffs. We'll see.
Jon- Faneca was one of the best OLineman in Steelers history, and it's a shame that he wouldn't resign with a contender, instead of the Jets, who just traded away their best player on the D.
Capn- Intelligence is coming out of The Mistake On The Lake at an alarming rate. It is getting hairy.
bob- LOL! Good one!
Tsunami- I take it your a Browns fan? I wouldn't go so far as to put them as THE BEST wideout game in the league. Certinaly no lower than the Top 5. Here they are, in my opinion:
Mike, the fact of the matter is that Faneca wanted more money than the Steelers were willing to pay him. It's going to be strange to see Faneca in green and white rather than black and gold.
As a lifelong Steelers fan I have to say Good! Honestly it's about time the Browns fielded a competitive team. I'm not so sure about DA, but he might have the goods. That 4 Int showing against the Bengals didn't look to great to me though. As much as it would hurt to get beat by the Browns, if they can beat us then we're doing something wrong. We're the team to beat, they're finally trying.
The great thing about the NFL is that they determine the best teams on the field in competition. Great job, Cleveland! But, you still have to win the games...
All I want to say is LOOK OUT STEELERS!!!!!! Cause my Cleveland Browns are gonna kick your butts TWICE!!!,, This rival is a very intense one and also a very fun one. But, look out, cause here we come!!!!!!!! I love you Browns!!!.. and,oh.. yes,, look out Cincinnati Bengals!!!! Things couldn't look better for the Browns.. Go Team!!!
