The former Jacksonville Jaguars QB, Byron Leftwich, has been signed to the Atlanta Falcons.
Let's be honest, Joey Harrington was never going to be a successful starting QB. This is the team that I thought would hire Leftwich. My second pick was Kansas City.
Byron Leftwich has plenty of weapons to show off in Atlanta, such as: WRs Joe Horn and Roddy White, and RB Warrick Dunn. The defense is good, but could use some improvement. He should make an impact quickly. He has plenty of time to turn their 0-2 start around, and a playoff berth looks likely.
Not that it matters, but I don't think that Leftwich is going to get his old number: 7.
Also, out of Dallas!
Ther Dallas Cowboys sign former lineman for the Chicago Bears, Tank Johnson. This is an excellent move, and he should definitely help out their already potent defense. The Cowboys seem to look as if they could take the division with one hand tied behind their backs. Wade Philips and the coaching staff did an excellent job getting Tank quickly, and he should mean even more planning and preparing for their next opponents.
That's all for now!
Don't forget to check out Marty walker's "Daily Game Balls" under "Hatchetman's Parade of Sports" to the right of this blog.
New Orlenas seems to be incpetent, Carolina lost to the surprise Texans, andTampa Bay will be their biggest competition. Nobody thought that Atlanta and Tampa Bay would be the two duking it out for the South this year! I love excitement!
First of all New Orleans will turn there dismall looking season around and still win the NFC South. Byron Leftwich saving Atlanta is just wishful thinking. They have no O-line. And Tampa though they put a whooping on New Orleans will still finish the season just above a very bad Falcon team
