I am currently the happiest kid on earth!
Feb 06, 2006 | 11:34AM | report this

Today I was the happiest kid on earth because last night my Steelers went hunting and killed some hawks. I went to school today wearing my Hines Ward jersey and since I currently live in Jacksonville there were only 3 Steelers jerseys in school but we were all happy. Oh bye the way im from Pittsburgh.

I'm mad that people are saying the refs cheated for the Steelers and stuff and the Seahawks out played us maybe they did have more yards but the Steelers executed unlike the Hawks. It is time for people to give respect were respect is due.

Last I would like to say Go Steelers hope fully a repeat next year and I will miss you Bettis thanks for the Memories

My questions and thoughts.
Jan 30, 2006 | 12:34PM | report this

First I would like to start off by saying Go Steelers.

Now lets get down to buisness. My first question is where will Devin Hester be drafted? I have heard anywhere between late first round and late third.

My thoughts about this: If the Steelers lose Randle El ( I think they should keep Randle El) I think Hester would be good or maybe Sinorice Moss. Althought I would like to see Lendale White drop to the Steelers but that definitly isn't going to happen.

Next I would like to say that I believe that the Pitt Panthers will beat U Conn tomorrow.

From what I hear T Mac and Yao Ming will be in the All Star game I think this is retarded neither of them have been healty I think there are people more deserving.

I also belive Kobe will go off for a 100 points this year.

Steelers will win the Super Bowl.

Mustang will win this competition

Pistons will beat 73 wins unless they lose a star to injury.

Tiger is back!!!!

I hate seeing Artest in a Kings jersey

The last thing I have to say is Go Steelers

Super Bowl predictions
Jan 23, 2006 | 4:56PM | report this

SO far in the playoffs I am 7-3 in my predictions and at  the beginning of the season I picked the Steelers and Panthers to be in Super Bowl 40 and I had it almost right. So now for my pick.

Steelers vs. Seahawks

I think the Steelers will take this one by at least 10 and here are some reasons why.

> The Steelers are playing with the win this one for the bus attitude last year at this time Big Ben promised Bettis that he would get him to this game and they would win it and now thats gonna come true.

> Roethlisberger has grown into a clutch Qb it just amazes me how much he has matured since last year.

> The Steelers are on a hot streak this playoffs they have beat the 1,2,and 3 seeded teams and the Seahawks play in a mediocre nfc.

So Go Steelers beat them Seahawks

Devin Hester
Jan 10, 2006 | 12:42PM | report this

My question about Devin Hester is where do you put the guy? Is he a reciever who hasn't reached his potential or a corner back who needs a lot of work. I saw that he is projected as a late first round or early second round pick. I found that surprising I was thinkikng more like a third round pick. But hey there are many teams at the bottom of the draft who could use him. In my opinion here are the teams who could use him and oh yeah he is a great kick return threat.

.Jaguars- They need help on special teams and they also need some one who can change the momentum of the game quick.

Broncos- They need a speedy reciever.

Steelers- I don't really think they need him but imagine having him and Randle El. I would just love to see Hester in a Steelers jersey.

Bears- They need help on offense.

If Hester is a first round pick these are the teams I think could get him.

Even though I would like to see Hester in a Steelers jersey I think the Steelers will try to get Greg Lee later in the draft.

My thoughts on the Steelers 2006 schedule
Jan 09, 2006 | 7:08AM | report this

Next year I think the Steelers have one of the hardest shedules in the league if not the hardest.

Home- Baltimore, Cincinatti, Cleveland, Denver, Kansas City, New Orleans, Tampa Bay, and Miami.

Away- Baltimore, Cincinatti, Cleveland, Oakland, San Diego, Atlanta, Carolina, and Jacksonville.

So next year the Steelers play 5 playoff teams and 4 teams that could be play off teams ( Atlanta, Miami, San Diego, Kansas City.).

The wheels on the Bus go round and round
Jan 08, 2006 | 5:24PM | report this

As a kid growing up in Pittsburgh Jerome Bettis was the first NFL player I ever heard about. As a little kid I especially liked Bettis because his nickname is The Bus. Now I am older and I have grown to love the game of football and I love Jerome Bettis and the Pittsburgh Steelers. As of right now it seems like this will be The Buses last season. In his career he has 91 rushing touchdowns and is 5th overall in rushing yards and if he stays for one more year he will most likely move to 4th overall. After seeing over the years how Bettis carries himself on and off the field there is no one more deserving of a superbowl ring than Bettis. Today he helped the Steelers beat the Bengals he had one rushing touchdown and had 3 last week against the Lions. So as of right now the Bus is still going strong and hopefully his last stop in his career will be Superbowl 40 in Detroit what is also his home town.

So I would like to say thank you to Jerome Bettis for all the memories he has given me and good luck next week.

My Madden 2006 Offensive poistion Rankings
Jan 03, 2006 | 2:23PM | report this

These ranking are for the most dominant people at Madden.

Quarterback's

1. Peyton Manning- his QB vision is the whole field he can pass to any one with out turning it.

2. Dante Culpepper- He has a big QB vision and he can run plus he can take some hits.

3. Donovan Mcnabb- The same things I said about Culpepper.

4. Tom Brady- People might ask why is he this low? And it's because while using him he have to turn the vision and aim unlike Manning's and he has no speed so that's why he's down here.

The QB I can't decide on is Vick people love to use him 1. because he's fast but he can't throw and he gets injured easily I would rank him between 8 and 15.

Runningback's

1.Tomlinson- He's fast he  and can break tackles. Rarely fumbles and he can catch.

2.Shaun Alexander- He's just flat out good.

3. Edge James- Fast hard o bring down has good carry.

4.Preist Holmes- He has a little bit of everything.

WR's

1.Randy Moss- He burns coverage. He goes up for the ball and he has great hands.

2. Marvin Harrison

3.Owens

4.Holt

5.Ward- He can block and catch great.

This is taking longer than I thought so I won't give no more describtions.

Tight ends

1.Gates

2. Tony Gonzalez

3. Jeremy Shockey

O-Line

1.Olin Kreutz

2.Willie Roaf

3.Alan Fanaca

4.Will Shields

Those are my rankings for the most dominant people on offense I know I didn't include fullbacks but O Well

My AFC wild card game predictions
Jan 01, 2006 | 2:49PM | report this

Steelers at Bengals

This will be a great game I think one of the best games ever. This game will come down to the fourth quarter were Big Ben will lead them to the game winning touchdown.

Outcome- Steelers win 21-20 because the Bengals couldn't stop the run.

Jags at Patriots

Even though I currently live in Jacksonville I hate the Jags I think they will lose this game by alot I mean who is gonna play Quarterback Leftwich or Garrard.

Outcome- Pats win 35-13

Stuff about the NFL this week
Jan 01, 2006 | 2:43PM | report this

Congrats to Shaun Alexander you had a hell of a season all I got to say is MVP,

Congrats to my Home town Steelers for making the playoffs and congrats to the Panthers for winning today and clinching a playoff berth.

Coach Vermeil farewell to bad you came up just short of the playoffs.

Larry Johnson this man is crazy I personally think he will be next years rushing leader if he starts this guy is great.

Bettis please come back one more year.

Favre nice career you haven't said that your retiring but I think you are but your next stop is Canton.

The last thing I'm gonna say is let's go Steelers superbowl 40 here we come.

My thoughts on the AFC probowl team
Dec 31, 2005 | 6:59PM | report this

I pretty much agreed with the AFC probowl roster the only thing I didn't agree with was the wide receiver position.

On the team they got Marvin Harrison, Chad Johnson, Chris Chambers, and Rod Smith.

The thing I don't agree with is Rod Smith yes he has played good this season here are Smith's stats

G   GS No Yards    Avg      Lg TD 20+ 40+ FD

15 15 84 1094 13.0 72 6 15 1 54

I think Hines Ward should be going to the probowl instead here is his stats.

gp   gs           rec.    yds    yds/rec    td

 14    14           68      935     13.8
   11

As you can see Ward has  played one less game  and he has 5 more touchdown receptions and is average more yds/rec.

THE Steelers are back
Dec 19, 2005 | 8:33PM | report this

As of right now now Steelers are in control of there future they currently hold the 6th and final afc playoff spot all they have to do is win against the Browns and the Lions should be easy right?

Now let me talk about how dominant the Steelers have been the last 2 weeks with victories against the Bears and Vikes. They are back to playing Steeler football what means they are running the ball well and are playing hard nose defense again. Sunday against the Vikes the Steelers defense stopped the Vikes 3 times in the redzone intercepting them twice and blocking a field goal. And the offense is running great with Big Ben back and Parker playing great. So if they keep playing this good come playoffs teams better watch out

Hines Ward=Under Rated
Dec 19, 2005 | 8:08PM | report this

I think Hines Ward is way to under rated I mean he is one of the most consistant recievers in the league. He does his job game after game and never complains. I believe he is a top 5 reciever. He is also the best blocking reciever and maybe the toughest after each hit he gets up smiling and laughing. His stats are good considering that the Steelers don't pass much and I belive he has made the pro bowl four years in a row and should be on his way to his fith this year. He's had over a 1000 recieving yards in each of the last four seasons. Here are his stats.

RECEIVING

Year Team G GS No Yards Avg Lg TD 20+ 40+ FD
1998 Pittsburgh Steelers 16 0 15 246 16.4 45 0 3 1 12
1999 Pittsburgh Steelers 16 14 61 638 10.5 42 7 6 1 31
2000 Pittsburgh Steelers 16 15 48 672 14.0 77 4 8 2 31
2001 Pittsburgh Steelers 16 16 94 1003 10.7 34 4 13 0 52
2002 Pittsburgh Steelers 16 16 112 1329 11.9 72 12 19 2 66
2003 Pittsburgh Steelers 16 16 95 1163 12.2 50 10 18 2 60
2004 Pittsburgh Steelers 16 16 80 1004 12.6 58 4 15 2 52
2005 Pittsburgh Steelers 13 13 61 830 13.6 85 10 7 2 46
TOTAL 125 106 566 6885 12.2 85 51 89 12

350

So just give me your opinion on Ward
