"This is not a gang-related hand signal."
Dear Commissioner Goodell:
Please consider this as my application for the position of NFL Gang Hand-Signal Monitor. A copy of my resume is enclosed. I believe I have the experience and enthusiasm to make an excellent Gang Hand-Signal Monitor who will protect the NFL's brand from corruption by association with thuggish street gangs, as opposed to thuggish interior linebackers and cornerbacks.
A brief summary of my background:
West Side Story
I first became interested in gang culture when my sister bought the original cast album of "West Side Story" in the 1960s. We would sit and listen for hours to "Maria" and "Somewhere", she singing along with Carol Lawrence, me snapping my fingers in time to Leonard Bernstein's music. In my mind, the clash of the Sharks and the Jets remains the quintessential gang conflict. I know the Jets are in the AFC East, but I thought the Sharks were a hockey team--please advise.
When you're a Jet, you're a Jet all the way.
I began to play football, two-hand-touch below the waist, and soon experienced gang violence first hand as I was gang-tackled by the Hogan brothers, the Lamy brothers and the Arnest brothers shortly after I hauled in my first kickoff and headed upfield. Thereafter, I played down lineman in a two-man front, three-Mississippi before you rush the passer.
The Fonz
In the 1970's, I switched my allegiance to Arthur "Fonzie" Fonzarelli's Falcons, an expansion team. Their arch-rival was the Demons. A review of the NFL's web site does not indicate the current location of this team. Were they moved to Los Angeles?
More recently, I have spent a great deal of time reviewing game film from the hit musical "Grease", which features the T-Birds, a bunch of greasers who wear black leather jackets. I believe this gang has already made significant inroads among Oakland Raiders season ticket holders.
I think you will agree that, based on the above-described experience and interests, I am well-qualified for the position I seek. I look forward to hearing from you. A self-addressed stamped envelope is enclosed for your reply.
Let's keep the violence on the field and off the streets!

So apart from having officials who tend to make mistakes none too often. We'll now be getting members of the Crips and Bloods to look for gang signs being made by the players ?
Unnescessary gang sign by the quarteback 187 his a## .
Does that mean if there's a player making a gang sign on the on the field then either a member of the Bloods or Crips'll get to 187 their a## ? If that's the case then it'll already add to the violent nature of the sport as it is.
Thanks very much Roger Goodell as if you've not come up with enough asinine edicts as it is already !
As soon as I saw the West Side Story reference I knew this was gonna be a good one, you had me laughing out loud. I was slightly disappointed though, I was anticipating a Warriors reference...
The Year of the Gerbil??? I hear that EVERY YEAR is the Year of the Gerbil in the Red Sox clubhouse. Those Red Sox players just can't get enough of it!

And if they should seek to establish as the norm in the NBA. Then I for one won't be surprised at all. As the players in the league are as big a bunch of wannabe gangstas as you could wish to find anywhere.
Look no further than The Diesel himself .
What gangsta let alone hood rat do you know would want someone to sniff their a## ? His words not mine.
I have no doubt at all that some of the NFL dummies are flashing gang signs. But all you have to do is fine them that week's salary for a documented flash. They may be dumber than a door half of them but they can understand losing their stripper money for that week.
As a serious Pats fan, the Commish has more important thing to deal with.
His priority has to be how to police and deal with my team, the Patriots. We have become the symbol of disgrace in the NFL, and I don't like it. Brady is a terrific QB and now he associated with this plague.
I believe Goodel thought that we had the integrity and character to handle this ourselves. I guess we do not. We have to get rid of all everyone in management that was involved. From BB up. I don't believe we have to fire all the coaching staff, but it would help. We need to do this now to get ready for the season.
We can't carry this around forever. Sorry Patriots, I love you guys, but not like this.
Maybe the game of football should be turned into a street fight with pit bulls allowed. The dying team loses. Hey gangsta America! youd love that! What a reality show youd have! I hope all gangs eventually kill themselves.
NFL is trying to clean up the image problems andhave been since Goodell has been in charge. Tagliabue kept his head in the sand the entire time he was in charge. High profile job like these guys have and all the sponsorship money the NFL gets is why all this is happening. Being in a gang is g.a.y. as it is, and no one is paying those chumps to show gang signs.
Oh, so hot lady! It was said she just enjoyed hot dating with a black guy on /////========= ==============================m i x e d l o v i n g . c o m=========\\\\\\. c o m so many fans show interesting to her hot photos and videos there. Nice to enjoy more details about it...
anyone caught throwing gang signs in an NFL football game should be suspended for multiple games, and kicked out of the league on the second offense.. there's no excuse for that kind of stupidity.
