EVER SINCE I STARTED BLOGGING AGAIN I HAVE GOT COMMENTS REGARDING ME TYPING IN ALL CAPS ..SOME PPL DONT MIND IT SOME SAY IT HURTS THEIR EYES SOME SAY IT'S LIKE I AM YELLING WHEN I CLEARLY AM NOT .. PERSONALLY I DONT SEE WHAT THE BIG DEAL IS WHEN SOMEBODY IS READING A BLOG THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO BE CONCENTRATING ON THE CONTENT OF THE BLOG AND NOT THE GRAMMER NOT THE SENTENCE STRUCTRE ETC ETC .. FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE LEFT COMMENTS DESPITE THE BLOG BEING IN ALL CAPS THANK YOU .. IT IS MUCH APPREACITED .. BUT I DONT WANT TO PUT OFF OR OFFEND ANYBODY IF YOU TRULY THINK IT'S DISTRACTING TO BLOG IN ALL CAPS BY ALL MEANS PLEASE SAY SO HERE AND IF I GET MORE OF YOU GUYS SAYING YES YOU NEED TO DROP THE CAPS THEN THE MAJORTY RULES THATS THE WAY IT SHOULD BE . SO LET'S PUT IT TO A VOTE AND AS ALWAYS THANK YOU FOR DROPPING IN
I personally won't read it just because the All Caps does hurt my eyes. I love to read and it just slows down my reading so it cramps my style. Thats my personal opinion on it....Oh and I also appreciate those who blog with-in the proper english language.
Personally reading all caps in a single spaced commentary is rather difficult. I find myself paying less attention to your content at times and looking for words instead.
Just my vote, but all caps in the Internet world is viewed as yelling for a reason, it's harsher to read, has a more aggressive tone, and makes some folks less willing to pay attention. In this environment it's just as important.
Add to that, if your replies are in normal script, why can't your points be in normal script too ? Your replies are easier to read than your posts :)
dalamar - maybe it's all in the mind ya know pshyological .. to me there is not a diffrence to this : i walked to the store and this I WALKED TO THE STORE if i was yelling usally when ppl yell theres exclamation points or some other form of puncuation or sentences leading up to the point you were trying to make would be in an agressive tone ..ty for the vote so thats 3 - 2
I'd have to agree with the others who say it's difficult to read. No doubt you don't intend it as a "yell", but that's how it reads. Just my opinion, and I certainly mean no offense.
If typing in all caps is the biggest complaint you get about your blog, you're not working hard enough.
Seriously, I don't see it as a big deal. You should write your posts in a way that works best for you, and makes the most sense to you. Focus more on the reaction to your opinions, not the reaction to something as incidental as caps lock.

If I were honest with myself, yes, no CAPS would be good. But it is your style. It sticks out, and you have made it yours.
It is definitely all good on 'shroom night. Like many have said, it is your blog, do what you wanna do. You definitely have enough people interested in your stuff.
Keep up the good work. You always get your point across. That is why we are here.

gr8one54 ........ I say the only time you should be wearing a cap is during sex, as we Brits like to say. Safety first as an unwanted pregnancy is hard to justify. All joking asides though, you do as you deem fit. At the end of the day the reader is more concerned about the content and whether or not they've enjoyed reading the post. But if you should hit an " albatross " by having written a real good story and having some exciting pictures as part of your piece then you've done yourself proud.

Gr8 - I say that you should type any way you want to. Those that buy into that whole YELLING THING when you use all caps are simply following along with 20 year old "CHAT ROOM" etiquitte. Does that mean if I use all lower case type that I'm whispering?
You are correct. It's about the content. Whatever you feel more comfortable with is fine with me.
It's your blog, do it the way you want. If it offends some, then you may lose some readers who would rather not see all caps. If it's a part of your style and you have attracted readers with it, then you would like to think they would keep reading if you changed. No one can make you stop, it's your choice. I for one like to read normal type, and use caps for emphasis.
Damn it I cant see my eyes hurt. Im teasin. Its your writing style write how big or small you want. LetsGoBuffalo should be thanking you for writing bigger so his old man eyes can see it.

gr8one54 ............I've double bagged for ages. As I'd never believed a female after my divorce. That being said the present piece of female companionship that I've got at my side I consider to be genuine. We both know what we want from the relationship and it comes with no strings attatched. We're both good for each other and that age difference doesn't seem to hurt one bit. Not that I'd ever complain on that score !
Your style, your blog. If it hurt that bad they wouldn't read it and judging by the responses, it's getting read. Your posts are interesting so keep doing it your way.

I agree with mean (but I think he is hot....shhhhhhhhhhh) It is your writings and you should choose cap/noncap just as you choose the content. You wouldn't ask anyone what you should write, don't ask them how to write it!! I enjoy your stuff....KEEP IT UP (I am shouting..lol)!!
