Farve has show signs of life this year, but he has also had the ability to throw long passes to the wrong team.
I don’t think he should get all of the blame for the poor record (he doesn’t play defense), but I do think he gets the blame for impeding the rebuilding process.

i dont understand how fans fly off the handle like this. brett will finish in the top ten for QBs just like he did last season. but somehow the 38 point debacle is his fault. the Jets had 3 rushing TDs and 2 passing TDs. i suppose Brett should have run on the field and played LB? Pennington had 2 Ints also and somehow they still managed to win the game.
Joe Louis the greatest? Marciano knocked him out in the 7th round. Ali? He wanted nothing to do with Spinks or Foreman - he was smart: they'd both have knocked him out in a real boxing match. Joe Namath? Far more interceptions than td's, & the Super Bowl was fixed from the get go.

Gaff... We Dallas fans have been dealing with the same problem for years. First Testiverde then Bledsoe. All the kids in between just weren't hacking it. I think that teams just get greedy for wins and think that these old men can help them out. I'm sure Parcells was thinking that way. Jerry Jones has a tendancy to fire coaches who don't produce right away. They don't understand that it takes time to develope a young team.
Gaff ..... The same thing is being now bandied about in Tampa as Gruden has but ruined the team. A lot of his most recent draft picks haven't picked up the game and have been a complete disappointment ! He puts the blame squarely on te fact that the team has suffered a lot of injuries. But isn't that why you're so suppose to have adquate backups or players that are willing to commit themselves t the task at hand ?
