Do we have four more out there to fill the show tomorrow!
nope. that was all part of my brilliantly schemed plan to get people not to notice i'm actually a central michigan fan. lol
seriously though, i'd do it, but i'm amish and i dont have a telephone.
ok, in reality, i hate talking on the phone anyway, and i really dont believe wisconsin has a snowball's chance in Tempe, AZ of winning this thing. now, before you ask me to be more positive about this....
....i'm POSITIVE wisconsin doesnt have a snowball's chance in Tempe of winning this thing. better?
maybe if you can find chorizo. i'd bet my left arm he thinks they can (and will) win it all.
ksp- chorizo had his own college bball poll last winter, and even after wisconsin lost 2 games in a row, had them #1 in the country. i guess if he doesnt care about football, maybe he wont. but if he does, i'm pretty sure he'll think they're easily NC team material.
Well I would throw my hat in the ring for BOISE ST., but the Broncos deserve a much better representative than me. I'm not a die-hard fan yet and just moved here 2 months ago so they need a person who knows the team in depth. My team I grew up rooting for and still do... UConn Huskies haven't a shot...except in college hoops. Come on Izzy give me something I can handle...like frisbee golf or something.

ksp...dammit...our LB unit is ranked number 1 across the boards in every college magazine...and all 3 LBs are butkus watch listers. I know you are LB-U, but NOT this year..we have the top 3 ranked LB's in the country. (according to the experts, ie...Phil Steele, Athlon ect) :p
KSP: Lisa is correct. USC HAS the best LB unit. Probably better than the OSU unit with Hawk and Carpenter. Probably better than the Miami unit in 2001.
USC HAS THE BEST "EVERYTHING". I was just the only #### to decide to battle them at one position.
Let's see how it goes at the end of the year though... PSU has a bunch of LB's recruited and coming in, plus solid third guys to play along with Lee and Connor... and by the end of the season, statistically, we may have that title.
Nost...did I say that we won in a night game? I dont remember that...I know we won, but I cant remember if it was a night game. Was it? You did awesome by the way! :)
I'm ready to talk about SC and Nu in 2 weeks...this could be fun! :)
What USC doesn't have (yet SHOULD) with their many tailbacks... is recruit a guy named David Licious (D. Licious for short), and then you could have had the "Bootylicious Backfield". Way to blow it Carroll.
oh...I did say at night...,my bad...I know the last time we played at Lincoln we won..so we have a winning record there. I must have got confused with the night game issue. (ie-one glass of wine)
Man, I had a hard time trying to keep myself from snoring. Tell me, how do you talk about a team going to make it to the BCS game and you know you will lose top Penn State, Michigan, Wisconsin and Washington.
Lise - I told you that I would work that line above into a post, and I did... two USC references there actually. I hate to promote, but thought I would in this case since we had already chatted about it.
I don't know how "Nostradamus" was selected to make a case for Nebraska to win the BCS, but he could not have done a poorer job.
There is a whole litany of sound, cogent, and sensible arguments that could have been made for Nebraska making a return to the elite level of college football this season. He unfortunately made none of them.
Sorry "N", you blew your airtime.
My name is Frank Irizarry and I am an Assistant Professor of Communication at Suffolk University in beautiful Beantown. I teach courses in public relations. I am an avid sports fan with football being my true passion. I played two seasons of College Football for Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York (1989-1991). My most rewarding football experience though has come in the past four years as the Head Coach for my oldest son's Pop Warner football team, the Deland Knights. This past season we were 8-1, 6-0 in our Division and we finished in third place in the Mid-Florida Conference (The SEC of youth football!) . I used to be a college debate coach so I like to make and hear what I think are good arguments.
