As always, I'll be there listening and happy to hear a voice, a voice that goes with the writer. Wonderful stuff here Frank.
New post about College Football and reaching out to service men and women in the war zones. They could use us. We are a great community. It would be awesome if FOX Sports.com could offer, even old taped shows that back in the world, a popular phrse used by sevice people, they can have a taste of what's going on back home. Maybe you could talk with them. I'll tell you now that AFN-Radio and TV doesn't buy these. They would be donated for use to the military people alone. Great idea.
Please frank, and all of you visit my newest post. You don't have to comment, just write down or visit the sites to send letters to wounded vets, lonely vets, vets in mental problems. Show them you care. Thanks, Marty
I've been meaning to catch the show for a while now and finally did last week. You do an excellent job. Great stuff! I was very impressed with the way you kept things on track and allowed each guest to have their own say on the various topics. And last week with all of the heavy hitters you had on the panel (Shooter, Miracle, and FP) the insights that each brought were fantastic.
This week it looks like you have another terrific panel. Josh, Riv, and KP are all top-notch bloggers here and should have a lot of insightful commentary on the stretch run in baseball.
I just wanted to say thanks again for having me on the show. As always, it was a pleasure, and I had a great time... and thought that you did an excellent job yet again.
I would also like to thank my two friends JOSH Q. and RIVJO, who both did a great job tonight... I had a great time talking baseball with you guys, and really appreciate you finding room for a non-Yankee/non-Sox fan. Ha ha.
I may have to hit the archives because there was one point where I think I had so much I wanted to say that I fumbled and don't even know what came out.
Either way, I had fun guys... thanks again for having me, and for taking the time to chat baseball. I hope we can do it again soon. In the meantime, best of luck to both of your teams.
will the Yankee and Sox fans be fighting their dogs on the show? Just curious cause we're coming in or the 117 Yorkie dog sled to listen to the show and I didn't want any Pit Bulls to get hurt.
I don't know what's up frank but I can't get your Fox email to open.

Great show! Kevin, Joe and Josh blew my mind with all the baseball talk! I actually enjoyed it, and you know I am not a big fan of MLB! Kudos to all! Joe-keep dreaming about those Yankees...they still have to play my Angels if they advance! hee hee

Josh and I are saving the real "arguing" for the playoffs. That was just polite discussion.
As for Lisa and the Halos. I'm counting on the those Seamen from Seattle running them down as well as the Yankees passing the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim via San Bernadino-Mickey Mouse World-And Universal Studios.
In other words no Angels in the playoff mix this year. (Got my fingers crossed)
By the way you can call me Joe but everyone else calls me John.
Last week and this week were the two that I really liked. One week they want to get it on and are held back somewhat. This week, they got after it. Both are the two best so far, plus I'd like to do a Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State type round table once the season starts. Just keep hanging up on Lisa, I couldn't stand getting shown up to a girl who knows every player on every team and all the X's and O's.. Coodies, yuk.
Great job. Those three are the best.
I still would volunteer to do a show and moderate it. I'll fly down and do it from there. Could it be an amazing, embarrassing question night. Who knows.
Really I'll follow preset conditions, ha ha .It won't happen.
My name is Frank Irizarry and I am an Assistant Professor of Communication at Suffolk University in beautiful Beantown. I teach courses in public relations. I am an avid sports fan with football being my true passion. I played two seasons of College Football for Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York (1989-1991). My most rewarding football experience though has come in the past four years as the Head Coach for my oldest son's Pop Warner football team, the Deland Knights. This past season we were 8-1, 6-0 in our Division and we finished in third place in the Mid-Florida Conference (The SEC of youth football!) . I used to be a college debate coach so I like to make and hear what I think are good arguments.
