The Tenth Edition of All Star Bloggers is Just Hours Away!!!
Jul 25, 2007 | 10:19AM | report this

Tenth show and we are still going strong!

This week's All-Star Bloggers show will air at 10:00 pm EST on Wednesday evening.

Our guests this week will be:

Wednesday, July 25, 2007, 10:00 pm EST
SoCalSportsFan
Broblog

We have some interesting items to discuss this week including:

1) Mike Vick - Will he ever play again in the NFL and what does this scandal to to him, the team and the league as a whole?

2) The NBA Referee Scandal - Does this doom the prospects of an NBA franchise moving to Vegas?

3) Ian Johnson says he needs extra security for his wedding in Boise.  Is this a sad ending to an otherwise storybook tale?

We will discuss/debate these issues but we also want to hear what YOU have to say!

The call in number is (646) 478-5128. Please don't hesitate to call in. Part of what makes the show special is the interaction with the callers who bring such a strong dimension to the show. Also, if you would like to be a guest on the All-Star Bloggers show, please contact me at Gatordebate@aol.com. There are so many great bloggers out there and I want to give anyone that wants to have it, a chance to come on the show. Make no mistake folks, the show is not about me but about the great guests we have had, we are having and will continue to have. This is a show by the bloggers and for the bloggers.

I hope you all tune in on Wednesday evening!

Should be a another great show with great guests. I was wondering, some of the archives have dropped off. Is there anyway to bring them back up?

Going to have to hit the archives Frank... won't be around tonight, but I'm sure everyone will do well. You will have to have me back on sometime... if you are interested. Later

GR8ONE: That would make for a great show. I'll have to see if I can get them together. I am not wedded to the two guest format. Just trying different stuff.

Steeler: I will have to check with the folks at BTR to see if they purge the archive after awhile. I'll let you know if I hear back.

KSP: Of course I'm interested! Have fun tonight.

Hey Frank, I enjoyed it. Sorry to cut it so short, but my boss showed up unexpectedly tonight. I apologize for that, but he needed to see me. One of my teachers is getting shipped off to Iraq, and I have to hire a new teacher soon even though I am on vacation. Anyway, I would be honored to come back on some time soon.

I really wanted to tell him how much Iadmire his stance of his convictions. To tell him that I admire his writings, his stance on being the family man that he is, and that I'm jealoes he lives in San Diego.

So Cal...I will NOT stealing his thunder, so can't share the news.Sorry sweetie~ Only reason why Rev knows is because we were the oiginal musketeers on the show and Rev had his cell phone number.

You will prolly figure it out in the next 2 days, but it's good stuff and couldn't happen to a nicer guy! see my comment below for the good news! Frank is being promoted by Fox!

ABOUT ME

FrankIrizarry
My name is Frank Irizarry and I am an Assistant Professor of Communication
at Suffolk University in beautiful Beantown. I teach courses in public relations. I am an avid sports fan with football being my true passion. I played two seasons of College Football for Marist College in Poughkeepsie,
New York (1989-1991). My most rewarding football experience though has come in the past four years as the Head Coach for my oldest son's Pop Warner football team, the Deland Knights. This past season we were 8-1, 6-0 in our Division and we finished in third place in the Mid-Florida Conference (The SEC of youth football!) . I used to be a college debate coach so I like to make and hear what I think are good arguments.
