Roger Clemens...liar, liar, pants on fire!
Mar 05, 2008 | 3:57PM | report this

Oh my...watched the congressional hearing on steroids in baseball with Roger Clemens and his accuser, McNamee.

The truth is obvious.  Nuff said.

We love the Cowboys, but TO ain't no Michael Irvin!!
Mar 05, 2008 | 3:50PM | report this

As of the end of the '07 season I am very concerned over our situation at WR.  TO was inconsistent and it is said that big players make big plays in big games, and what did TO do??...dropped the ball!!

Michael Irvin had his biggest catches in the big games!!  Patrick Crayton, just signed to a big deal, also dropped passes he should have caught.

Last year I was hoping Dallas would have drafted Robert Meachum from UT, or picked up another top line free agent, despite TO's protests ( he complained when asked about the prospects of Dallas picking up Randy Moss in '07).

We have to do something here...if we don't we are doomed.

Equal Justice Under the Law for Vick...No more, no less...
Aug 22, 2007 | 7:06PM | report this

The punishment for Michael Vick should fit the crime and be no more or no less than what others commiting the same act would receive.  This includes the action that may be taken by his employer, the Atlanta Falcons, and their parent organization, the NFL.

Of course, the NFL's position would have to be consistent with it's treatment of other players that have commited a felony.

Vick's most difficult hurdle may have yet to be revealed...gambling issues related to the dog fighting business.  Every sporting league takes this issue extremely seriously, as well it should.

I personally feel the only possible way Vick should be banned for life is if a SERIOUS gambling addiction is uncovered, or any gambling related to the NFL.  Otherwise, after he serves his civil punishment, he should be able to resume working just like other ex-con's would be allowed.  Whether a team would hire him would be another story entirely.
