A group of players on a Major League Baseball team that has had more than it's share of negative PR over the last few days has taken a very different approach to raising awareness of cancer generally and, with Mother's Day coming up this Sunday, breast cancer awareness in particular. Chicago White Sox' pitchers Bobby Jenks and John Danks, along with outfielder Nick Swisher and catcher Toby Hall have dyed their facial hair hot pink to draw attention to and show support for cancer awareness and research for a cure. Several children from Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation were on hand to witness the ball players turn their beards pink at the New Comiskey Park in Chicago.
