Did you happen to notice the crowd at Darlington as Kyle drove by for the checkered flag? It didn't look like there was a soul cheering him on... I thought these NASCAR fans were knowledgeable...
This young guy is the greatest thing to happen to NASCAR in years and these people are sitting on their hands... Go figure!
I love how he goes for it!
I am a long time Mark Martin fan and for years I watched him be conservative and it drove me nuts!!
it's all Rowdy now checkers or reckers!!!
but I still keep an eye on Mark
Martin has had good success at Darlington in the past, but this year the Lady in Black gave him all he wanted... I think he got a top 15 finish tonight. Last night he went down low on fuel and got rear ended... I think he was in his backup number 5 car for DEI tonight...
they call you king kyle,i call you lucky enjoy it cuz it"s not gonna last.dale jr is gonna take the spot light from you.you get your wins from hitting the drivers in the rear, that"s not racing, by the way dale sr invended that one. get your own techniques.i think dale sr"s son owes you one now. go dale jr. all your fans are waiting to see ya do yor thing. cricket mossor
If that race didn't convince everyone that Kyle is the best out there this year, then they need to go watch cooking shows. That was how you overcome adversity through sheer determination, willpower, huevos gigante, and raw talent. There were 367 laps. How many times did he slam the wall? 366? He got everything out of the car there was to get out. That is the difference between winning and finishing fourth. Sorry for ranting D-Man.
Keep drinkin' the Kool Aid dude! I think it's laced with near-sightedness. Open your eyes and enjoy. It's just racin' and Dale Sr. didn't invent it either... It's been around as long as folks felt the urge to find out who's car was faster... It dates back to the days of Revenuers and moonshine runners.
Pay attention and enjoy it man, Kyle Busch isn't going away anytime soon!
Anyone not blinded by their NASCAR love interests needs to take a hard look at this young man. Those of you that just can't accept that Kyle Busch has a huge driving talent, read what I commented to crickbuggie...
The hate for Kyle is understandable by older fans with their long time love for their own particular favorites but Kyle is very very attractive to younger fans his age, particularly women.
He's young, good looking, rich, super fast, has that take no prisoners bad boy attitude. Very attractive. Trust me.

Here we go with the young rich ant attractive thing again. I thought NASCAR was about racin. Guess I must be one of the old ones. I dont think attractiveness had much to do with last nights win.
As Dwindy said 'love interests' (OMG LMAO) aside, the guys has supreme talent and he's here to stay. He drove a super race and good for him!
Nothing about NASCAR says you have to be old poor and ugly to be fast. It's just as easy to like young rich and good looking and FAST.
Earlier above Dwindy mentions moonshiners. I never knew a moonshiner outrunning the govt boys but to me Kyle Busch just drips from that same attitude. Catch me if you can.

It IS just racin'... If NASCAR fans truly appreciate racin', then why did the ones in attendance at last night's race in South Carolina sit on their hands when Kyle Busch was crossing the finish line? Why did they roundly boo him when he was announced to the crowd in the pre-race festivities? The "blinded by love interests" is a very valid point in my opinion. These folks have their favorites, we all do, but to not recognize this man's racing talent by giving him his due, is BUSH league!
My dad says Dale Sr was probably the most hated driver in NASCAR history the first half of his career until the record wouldn't allow anything but admiration of his hard nosed outstanding ability.
Kyle is only 23 and has so many top 10 finishes that if he keeps it up it's going to make a whole lot of people look really foolish before he is done.
There have been a lot of comparison made between Kyle and Dale Earnhardt... I'd say the best comparison is the will to win... Driving styles are similar, but not the same. It will take another 15 years or so to draw a true comparison between the two. Kyle needs to stay healthy and not lose that will power...
Being an NBA fan I compare his will and drive and perhaps personality to that of Kobe Bryant. Not the most personable person on the planet maybe but ever so often that burning drive is in an athlete and I think Kyle has it and I find that sexy beyond belief. I have a blog up where I paraphrased the old song thunder road. Probably make people mad again but I like it.
MAYBE YOU SHOULD HAVE SOME MORE COOL "aid" I HEAR YOU NEED IT TO SEE BETTER!!! THE FANS ACTED THE WAY THEY DID CUZ KYLE IS THE WAY HE IS WE THE PEOPLE THINK HE IS WHAT WE THINK EVERYONE HAS THEIR OWN OPINION. THAT"S WHY THE FANS THROW THEIR BEER CANS AND CUP DOWN AT KYLE.

I love this kid. But I for one, will be glad when it is Smoke in victory lane on the Cup side instead of Kyle so much. lol
But I am loving seeing JGR dominate like this. I have always wanted to see them do this. So I am going to enjoy it for as long as it lasts, even if it because of Kyle.
At least Smoke is dominating in wins on the Nationwide series.
crickbug...How come Earnhardt "fans" are the only ones who throw beer cans and cups? How cool. Your reason is 'cuz Kyle is the way he is.' Brilliant! Sink to a lower level. That's always a sign of superior intelligence. You are the epitome of an Earnhardt fan.
I believe you are a true fan of NASCAR, sure, you have your favorite driver but you still recognize other drivers when they do well. Kyle has some issues with his mouth, but when he's running at speed with competition, he makes sweet music.
Metal Gods... Is that idol worship or a rock band? lol
There is one determining factor in your comment and that is time. Will Kyle Busch stand the test of time? This is a risky and dangerous business and for that reason it is hard to tell at this juncture...
One thing is certain though, Kyle Busch is not a one hit wonder!
I dont know if I would have thrown beer cans maybe a few adjectives but I even wrote a post about K.Busch I gotta hand it to him hes hot right now.. but I still feel Toyota is cheating somehow...lol
I think Hendrick's loss is Joe Gibbs gain! If Kyle was still running with the Chevys I think he might have this kind of success anyway. It's not a question of equipment it's a question of committment to win and talent!
Thanks for the comment about what Richard Petty said, I hadn't heard that... I did hear that Buddy Baker compared him to a young Darrell Waltrip but didn't think he was fairly being compared to Dale Earnhardt... Interesting stuff!
" It dates back to the days of Revenuers and moonshine runners. " Bump and run was first done in the ancient charriot races over two thousand years ago.
Yep. If you ever went to a local track race over the years, You would see it all over the track.
Funny. It seems like Dejavue with the negative press on Kyle. Remember a lot of what is said now was said when Dale Sr. raced in his early career.
I didn't see any Beer cans and cups thrown at Kyle Sat. night.
I just wonder if any drivers today can keep up with him or brave enough to let it all hang out.
