Nice 1st day draft for dem boys

Ive seen alot of people critisize JJ for his drafting of Felix Jones instead of Rashard Mendenhall. FJ will be a more than adept compliment to Barber. FJ allows the cowboys to have that homerun threat weve lacked at running back since the days Tony D and Hershcel W graced us in a cowboys uniform. Rashard is the same type of running back MB is and from what Ive seen from MB hes gonna be alot better than Rashard will ever be.

I believe they will win the NFC East again this year, maybe the division. Even though they have a great team without the drafted players, wait till the first 3rd and long Jones gets in and busts it for 30 +. He just adds another dimension that Julious Jones couldnt. Which means the opposing defense has something other to worry about besides T.O. and Witten!!

I don't know which will actually be better, it's a big wait and see for me. But I keep flashing back to what was, IMHO, a bad decision at RB when they passed on Stevan Jackson to take JJones later. In hindsight we can see what I thought at the time was a bad decision, passing on SJ. For a couple of years many Boys fans wouldn't even admit that SJ was better, and when that was obvious fell back on the "look what we got for trading" arg, which I can't totally disagree with. But I can only imagine what it would have been like to have the Barbarion and SJ in the same backfield.

With FJ and RM it will be easier, just which back is better, no trade considerations. But some of the wild posturing and moving JJ did doesn't make a lot of sense to me, like trading 2 starter quality guys for a 4th round pick? Some would argue it was win-win, but it seems to me they could have got more for Fasano and the other guy (I can't hardly say his name so I won't butcher it in spelling). A lot of it seemed like movement for the sake of movement. I get a little nervous when JJ's prints are too visible, and when a Jimmy Johnson or Bill Parcells isn't coaching that seems to happen.

Your right about Jackson. I live in St. Louis and the only thing the Rams had going last year was him. Lots of problems in "Lamb" country!
