The Indians season has been one word, disapointing, and Carmona the same, Cliff Lee which the Holos play tonight, which has 16 wins, but the Indians has both Travis Hafner and Big V-Mart on the DL, but in the past 2 week, F-Rod for the Angels has not got the job done, I like the Angels in this series and on Saturday.

Chicago White Sox vs Oakland 24% of the USA: Analysts- Glen Kuiper & Leo Mazzone. Starting Pitchers: John Danks(White Sox) 9-5; 3.18 ERA vs Greg Smith(A's) 5-11; 3.92 ERA: 1-1 vs CWS with an 3.75 ERA in 12 career innings. Well the A's was in the AL West race, so they trade any their top 2 pitchers, which in my opinion was a good thing and said better luck next year, and the White Sox are in a race againist the Twins in the AL Central. 2 southpaws in this matchup, I like the White Sox on Saturday, but a Sweep of the Royals for the White Sox, will mean a series loss in Oakland.

Seattle vs Minnesota 7% of the USA(only in Minneapolis, Portland, & Seattle): Analysts- #### Stockton & Mark Grace. Starting Pitchers: Ryan Rowland-Smith(Marniers) 2-1; 3.71 ERA; 0-0 with a 3.00 ERA in 6 career innings vs Seattle. vs  Scott Baker(Twins) 7-3; 3.78 ERA. Well in 2001, FOX wanted this matchup on bad for both teams, but this year, the Marniers has been a injuried up team, while the Twinkes are in a key race in the AL Central, I think the Twins will in this series, but I like the Mariners in an high scoring affair on Saturday.

Last weekend the Angels and Yankees spilt 2-2 in the boggie down(The Bronx), so this week is a 3 game series in the Big A, the Yanks and the Angels by 6 more time this season, all at Anaheim, so John Lackey in his career vs the Yankees is 4-7: 4.89 ERA , but at home this year he is 4-1, with a 3.56 ERA. Well the Angels might have made a WS move to get Mark Teixiera and their starting pitching and latter part of the bullpen is outstanding, while the Yankees last weekend got OF Xavier Nady and LHP Damaso Marte from the Pirates and on Wedensday they got C Ivan Rodriguez for Kyle " Mr Worthless" Farnsworth from the Tigers, but the Angels batting order could be unbeatable mainly in October, but the Angels have the AL West in the bag, and the the Yankees are only 4 behind the Rays and one behind the Red Sox, so I like the Yankees on Saturday and the Angels in 3-1 win in this series. You won't see Joe Buck again until the NLCS in October.

So the Empire are only 3 games behind the Rays and the Nation for 1st, but the Nation has Big Papi coming in the lineup starting today and Manny has sore knee which will keep him out of today's game, but the Sox are not going from the Green Monster, while the Yanks have the 2nd best road record in the AL, I like the nation in this series, but the Empire in Saturday's Game, and it could take 3 & 1/2 hours.

Atlanta vs Philadelphia 14% of the USA(only in Atlanta, Birmingham, Charlotte, Greensboro, Greenville, Jacksonville, Knoxville, Nashville & Philadelphia)- Analysts: Kenny Albert & Eric Karros. Starting Pitchers- Jo Jo Reyers(Braves) 3-9;4.95 ERA vs Cole Hamels(Phillies) 9-6; 3.11 ERA. Look he just had an interview or a miniseries on Fox News on monday talking about how the Packers don't want me and they forced me into retirement, I might sound like like Stone Cold Steve Austin from the WWF and I qoute when he was talking about Mike Tyson, " It made so sick I was throw up in the back" and for ESPN and the no.#4 loving media out there, they was no news about this until this week, and for everybody to tease this like his people said or this like a show coming on TV this fall was very stupid and crazy. Now look Brett if you didn't want to retire, then don't be crying and saying as I qoute ' I can still play but I just don't want to" it sound like another WWF thing when Shawn Micheals vacented the title and said " I losted my Smile", hey lets call SportsCenter "FarveCenter", because thats what it is now. For the Packers you need to make a stand to no.#4, we have to move on, either you stay retired, we gave you a chane to reconsider and you didn't, we have to move or if you do come out of retirement we will trade you to the AFC, but not in the NFC North and thats the bottom line. The fact of the matter is no.#4 has been back and forth with the Packers for the last 3 years and when we all thought he made a decision, he still don't know. Well on Tuesday we had a great All-Star Game in which the AL won 4-3 in 15 innings in which the Coverage of the Game started at 7pm Eastern time and went to 1:50am EST, but is was fun plus worth it except for the homefield in the WS and Red carpet Parade, but this week on the Game of the Week on Saturday, 3 big time matchups that will effect the postseason race as it hits up. Now before I start, I must say how do Wash D.C gets this game in which they are a NL town, but where I live in Baltimore, I get the Phillies vs the marlins, I don't care but its just interresting thats all. Now we have the 2 best teams in the AL going at it, with a 9 game winner and last year's ALCS MVP vs a 12 game winner for the best record in the AL. Now the Red Sox got back in 1st place in the AL Esat before the All Star break and the Holos been there from the start, but in this 3 game series, its all about who can get on top 1st, I like the Angels in this series, but I like a low scoring game on Saturday for a Sox win.

San Diego vs St Louis 18% of the USA: Analysts- Matt Vasgersian & Mark Grace. Starting Pitchers- Randy Wolf(Padres) 6-9; 4.66 ERA vs Todd Wellemeyer(Cardinals) 7-4; 4.04 ERA. The Padres have been a disappointment at best this series, while the Cards have been maybe best biggest surpise beside the Rays, but both teams are still in the playoff race, but the Priests(Padres) pitching has not had its prayers answered, in which have stuggled all season long, while the Cards have glued starters together and have won. I like the Cards in a 3-1 series win and a Saturday win as well.

Philadelphia vs Florida 11% of the USA( only in Atlanta, Baltimore, Miami, Philadelphia & West Palm Beach): Analysts- #### Stockton & Tim McCarver. Starting Pitchers- Kyle Kendrick(Phillies) 8-3; 4.47 ERA vs Scott Olsen(Marlins) 5-4; 3.77 ERA. The Phillies are in a tie with the Mets in the NL East and the Green Fins are only a game back of both, so this series is huge, the Phillies just got Joe Blanton from the A's to help that pithcing staff that has been awful, but the one surpise you will see Satruday in Brother Kendrick, but the Marlins have the 1-2 knockout punch in Harley and Uggla. So like the Marlins in this series, and the Game on Saturday, plus the Mets will be in 1st place by the end of the weekend. This is the game I will get.

Arizona vs Philadelphia 55% of the USA( this is the game I will get): Analysts- Matt Vasgersian & Mark Grace. Starting Pitchers: Randy Johnson(D-Backs) 5-7; 5.18 ERA vs Adam Eaton(Phillies) 3-7; 5.20 ERA. Well this is the real Game of the Week and the Phillies and the Diamondbacks have or are losting control of their leads, the D-backs can't get timely hitting and the Phillies can't get good starting pitching, so I like the Phillies in the series, but I like the D-Backs.

Minnesota vs Detroit 21% of the USA: Analysts- #### Stockton & Eric Karros. Starting Pitchers: Scott Baker(Twins) 5-2; 3.32 ERA vs Nate Robertson(Tigers) 6-7; 5.19 ERA. Well this maybe the best pitching matchup of our 3 games and the Tigers has roared back in the AL central race at 46-45 with a extra innings lost to the Twins on Thursday, While the Twins are on hot pursit of the White Sox, this series maybe impact wise the biggest of our 3 matchups, I like the Twins on Saturday, but a 2-2 split for this series.

NY Yankees vs NY Mets 43% of the USA(The game I will get): Analysts- Joe Buck, TIm McCarver & Ken Rosenthal. Starting Pitchers- Andy Pettitte(Yankees) 8-5; 4.04 ERA vs Johna Santana (Mets) 7-6; 2.93 ERA. Well the Yanks and the Mets are playing a Yankee/ Shea doubleheader, the Yankees are at 42-36 and Andy Pettitte as resuming the role as Yanks Ace and Johan Santana for the Mets has had a lack of run support and the Mets are 38-39, but Santana is 4-0 all time vs the Yankees with a 2.93 ERA in 48 and 1/3 innings. The Series will be a 2-2 spilt with the Mets getting Saturday.

Chi Cubs vs Chi White Sox 56% of the USA: Analysts- Thom Brennamen & Mark Grace. Starting Pitchers- Sean Gallagher(Cubs) 3-3; 3.97 ERA vs Javier Vazquez(White Sox) 7-6, 4.24 ERA. The Cubs sweeped the White Sox on the Northside last week at Wrigley, but the Cubs justed losted 2 out of 3 at home to Baltimore, while the White Sox went to Dodger Stadium and took care of the Blue. St. Louis vs Boston 88% of the USA(Game I will get): Analysts- Thom Brennamen, Tim McCarver, & Ken Rosenthal. Starting Pitchers- Mitchell Boggs(Cardinals) 1-0; 5.56 ERA vs Daisuke Matsuzaka(Red Sox) 8-0; 2.53 ERA. Well the Cards are 42-32, but just got sweeped by the KC Royals in St. Louis, while the Red Sox is 46-29 and just took 2 out 3 vs the Phillies, the Cards and Sox had 3 meetings in the World Series(1946,1967 & 2004) with the Cards winning the 1st 2 and the Red Sox winning the most recent one. Anyway, Mr. Boggs 1st start was good, but the last one was not, while Daisuke has not started since May 27, when he went on the DL for a Mild Strain of his roator cuff. I like the Red Sox to take 2 out of 3 and for Daisuke to go 9-0 on Saturday.

Cleveland vs LA Dodgers 11% of the USA(Only in Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, Los Angeles and San Diego): Analysts- Matt Vasgersian & Eric Karros. Hey the tribe and blue has been down in recent weeks, but CC has been looking better in his past 5 starts and Chan #### Park is replacing Hiroki Kuroda in the roation. Well interleague play is on Fox Saturday Baseball and one key NL showdown, on June 14. So lets get it on, all games start at 3:55pm.

Boston vs Cincinnati 56% of the USA: Analysts- Thom Brennamen ,Jerry Remy & Ken Rosenthal.  Starting Pitchers- Tim Wakefield(Red Sox) 4-4; 4.33 ERA vs Edinson Volquez(Reds) 9-2; 1.56 ERA. Well the Reds have some good young pitching coming on and the Reds are 32-36 and in the Wild Card race, and the Red Sox are in the tough AL East and on top 42-27. I like the Red Sox in this series, but I like the Reds in the game Saturday to hit off Mr.Slow: Tim Wakefield. This is the game I will get.

Philadelphia vs St. Louis 26% of the USA: Analysts- Kenny Albert & Mark Grace. Starting Pitchers- Adam Eaton(Phillies) 2-3; 4.62 ERA vs Kyle Loshe(Cardinals) 7-2; 3.92 ERA. My, My, coming into Friday the Phillies and the Cards have the same record of 40-28 and this is a key series for both, the Cards have been ####ed up all year, but has found a way to win and with replacement ace Kyle Loshe and Mr.Utley has been the Man in Philly. I like the Cards in this series and on Saturday as well.

LA Dodgers vs Detroit 17% of the USA(only in Detroit, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Phoenix, Portland, & San Diego):  Analysts- #### Stockton & Eric Karros. Starting Picthers- Brad Penny(Dodgers) 5-8; 5.38 ERA vs Eddie Bonine(Tigers) 1st start of season. `Well the Dodgers ace has been more less than Penny and the blue record is only at 34-35 and the Tigers picthing just have been whack this season at a very disappointing 29-37. Who will win this series, the Tigers, but I like the Dodgers on Saturday.

Well last week on Fox we had Ken Griffrey Jr. hit no. 599 out and the Mets beating the Dodgers by 1, so let talk about this week on June 7th about a big time NL showdown, AL leading Red Sox and 3 other teams in the AL trying to turn it around, on the Fox Saturday Baseball Game of the Week. Chi. Cubs vs LA Dodgers 60% of the USA: Analysts- Kenny Albert, Tim McCarver & Ken Rosenthal. Starting Pitchers- Carlos Zambrano(Cubs) 8-1; 2.51 ERA vs Derek Lowe(Dodgers) 3-5; 4.17 ERA. The Cubbies are look like a real deal NL Contender, and they got their ace starting in this matchup and they have a record of 39-22, and the Dodger Blue are at 28-32, this is a big series for the Dodgers, but with the injuries that they have I do not see them winning this series and on Saturday as well, their best chance of winning is to have their starting pitchers going deep in this series.

Seattle vs Boston 29% of the USA(The game I will get): Analysts- #### Stockton & Mark Grace. Starting Picthers- Miguel Batista(Marniers) 3-6; 5.90 ERA vs Tim Wakefield(Red Sox) 3-4; 4.50 ERA. Well we have the Kissing Marniers vs the Fighting Bo Sox, if you don't get what I mean than you are on your own, but the Mariners need to start get the picthing on track, and Mr knucleball himself Tim Wakefield has been doing well outside of his record, I the Red Sox in this series and on Saturday, and please no fighting or kissing in this series.

Cleveland vs Detroit 10% of the USA(only in Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, Detroit, & Minneapolis): Analysts- Thom Brennamen & Rick Manning. Starting Pitchers- Aaron Laffey(Indians) 3-3; 3.02 ERA vs Kenny Rogers(Tigers) 4-4; 5.54 ERA. The Tribe and the Tigers both have started very poor in this season, as the Indians are 27-33 and the Tigers are 24-33, both team pitching has been bad and the hitting for both teams are not to far away from their pitching, but both starting on Saturday pitching has been in games and have had a chance to win. In like the Indians in this series, but I like the Tigers for Saturday.

Well, I guess Fox did not see this when they pickes these games for May 31, but we have a matchup between 2 last place teams in the AL, another matchup with one team a game under .500 and a team at .500 and a second place NL East team and a last place team in the NL Central. So lets preview this week games on FOX Saturday Baseball Game of the Week. All games start at 3:55pm EST

LA Dodgers vs NY Mets 65% of the USA( Game I will get): Analysts- Joe Buck, Tim McCarver & Ken Rosenthal. Starting Pitchers- Chad Billingsley(Dodgers) 4-6; 3.68 ERA vs Mike Pelfrey(Mets) 2-6;5.33 ERA. Well the Mets are at 26-26 and arer trying to get back in the NL East fight, while the Dodgers has stuggled in the past 2 week and their record is at 26-27 and lost the 1st matchup last night at Shea, but Mike Pelfrey has lost his edge and the both the Dodgers and the Mets need this series to make the U-turn in there divisions. This will be a 2-2 split, but I like the Dodgers on Saturday.

Atlanta vs Cincinnati 22% of the USA: Analysts- Thom Brennamen & Leo Mazzone. Starting Pitchers- Jair Jurrjens(Braves) 5-3; 2.86 ERA vs Josh Fogg(Reds) 1-2; 9.00 ERA. Mr. Jurrjens has been a good thing for the Braves as every start he has given the Braves a chance to win, and Josh Fogg has been a Fog for the Reds, lets keep it real, the Braves will win Saturday and win this weekend series.

Detroit vs Seattle 12% of the USA(only in Cleveland, Detroit, Minneapolis, Portland & Seattle): Analysts- Kenny Albert & Eric Karros. Starting Pitchers- Justin Verlander(Tigers) 2-7; 5.16 ERA vs Felix Hernandez(Marniers) 2-5, 3.60 ERA. Well if you talk about 2 disappointing teams so far these are the 2, the Tigers are 22-31 and the Marniers are 20-34, and the 2 aces that are pitching on Saturday has been on the bad in, more Verlander than King Felix, more of his losses has come during to a very thin bullpen, maybe the Mariners wished they still had Geroge Sherill, and the Tiger wished their pithcing would like a tiger than a house cat, anyway I like the Tigers in this series, but the Mariners shoul win tomorrow unless a bullpen blow again or maybe both.

I wrote about 3 week ago how the NHL need to get a better image on TV, and now they have the matchup they want, the historic Detroit Red Wings vs Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins, but the NHL Scheduling has got in its way, the NBA Eastern Conference Finals, which have the Detroit Pistons vs the Boston Celtics, now the 1st 3 games of the Stanley Cups are on Saturday, Monday and Wedensday, oh yeah, the Eastern Conference Finals are on them same 3 nights, and also the 1st 2 Stanley Cup FInals are on VS, while Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Saturday is on ABC and the next 3 games are on ESPN. I wish the NHL would have adjusted their schedule to make sure the people in Detroit did not have to choose what to watch on them 3 nights coming up and to its fans as well. The NHL could have moved the series to Thursday, Sunday, and Tuesday, to make sue Detroit Fans can have its full attention and for the NHL not to look like once again they don't have a clue. The NHL has the perfect matchup to help it become a top sport in the USA again, but you have to scheduling your league and your TV patners so people will care. The hockey is the best now than it was 10 years ago, but people don't know because of the way the NHL is presenting itself to the once in a while hockey fans and to all hockey fans.
