Sorry for the lateness. I was busy, so I've got all three tonight.
First, Canisius.
Returning 6 players, and 7 new faces, including 5 Freshmen, Canisius is ready for November. Coming off a disappointing 9-20 record, whcih included 8 non-conference losses, the team expects to rebound with the likes of Darnell Wilson and Corey Herring, both Seniors.
Ok, I got this far. Be happy for me.
Honestly, no-one really knows about the MAAC. At all. Their conference doesn't even have any good things to read. I mean, my god, it's your own conference! At least the school that I go to, their conference has stuff. This is absoulutely horrible.
From Thursday to Sunday, I'll be predicting the overall season, Month by Month. (March will be with February, OK?) Also, these records will NOT coincide with my daily predictions, mainly because things change, ok? And plus, It's not like I'm perfect.
So, yeah, that's it for the whole team preview thing. I gave up. It's absolutely evil.
Ya know, tell ya what. If someone can write a decent preview on Canisius, I'll consider finishing the series. Other than that, wait until Thursday.
"Ya know, If the world is round, wouldn't a moving ball never stop, regardless of all those Science law thingys?"
1) I don't know where it is. If you want to know, go to mapquest.
2) I've been in a long-term blogging super brain #### for a good month and a half now, so that's why I haven't been saying much. Also, I got high school. SO FUN.
"If yellow equals green, then does jackrabbit equal computer?"
I don't get what you mean by "Their conference doesn't even have any good things to read." There is a lot of information on the MAAC web site, including the entire media guide and statistical information for all the teams.
If you choose to continue, might I suggest following a format similar to the one deadspin.com uses for its previews? They generally pick four or five interesting facts and write a short paragraph on each. It makes for a good read.
you seemed so happy to be covering the MAAC earlier, what happened? Okay here's the lowdown:
Manhattan would be the favorite, but lost toomany players (they transferred do to a new coach) Bobby Gonzalez went to Seton Hall, and the Jaspers got a steal with Barry Rohrssen (assistant from Pitt) who will make Manhattan a tough team to beat. If they had all their players back this could've been a top 25 team...in the last few years the Jaspers have beaten Maryland and Florida, so they have some telent. Don't knock the mids.
