I finally got my PC working again, just on time for the 2ns meeting of the season between the hated Leafs and the Habs.

End of 1st, 3-1 Leafs... Kaberle is on fire tonight, we have to find a way to turn him off. Glad Samsonov scored, Aebisher doesn't look very sharp tonight, I don't blame him, he hasn't played for almost 10 days now, actually more than 10 days.
1st intermission.
2nd period, just crapy for the Habs, where are the shots on goal? The Leafs look like they're getting all the good bounces tonite.
4-2 Leafs, 2nd intermission.
I really don't understand why the Habs never play a consistent 60 minute game. In the last 10 minutes of the game they just outskilled the leafs and tied the game, now into shootout.

Final thought? The Habs are extreamly lucky to get a point out of this matchup.
That's what I hate the most about the Habs environment, the Press, and the French press mostly. They create a star, and they kill him like a dog after a while, and the guy has to live with it. How nice would it be to play in your own city, for your childhood team, without being crusified every other left turn you take in your life as a whole? Every player would love that.
For tonight's game, I feel split between wanting the 2 points for the Habs, and wanting Theodore to record a shutout. The same thing about Brisebois, I hope he brakes a couple Habs arms out there.
My prediction for tonight is more logical though, I think the Habs will win it 4-2.
Remains to see how they are treated on annoucement.
Of course they boo them like dogs, children as they are those Habs fans. No class.
Avs 1 Habs 0. Brisebois an assist, the Habs are not helping their cause, nor Aebisher, 2-0 now as we speak!
Sourray again, shoots one top right and scores 3-1.
End of 1st, Theo was very good in front of the net, so was Aebisher who had no help whatsover from anybody on his team.
Wow, Sheldon Sourray scores his 5th Goal and 7th point! Put him upfront! lol. 3-2 Avs.

Samsonov score, 4-3 game Avs, back to a one goal game, Sourray get a point too! Kovalev and Samsonov connect for the 1st time.
A very good game indeed tonight, Ryder ties it up on a 5 on 3 PP.
Man I wish our offense score as much as our deffense, Rivet puts the Habs ahead 5-4.
Tied at 5, 10 goals in this game as well, I'm loving it.

Last minute of play, what a nice team effort, started a bit late but they never looked back.
Another one is in the books, I'm loving the Habs so far this season.
After last night's game, the Habs will fall short tonight in my opinion. Last night was a very tough phisical and mental game that the Habs won, and then left right after it to Chicago, they probably barely rested and hit the ice for a short practice so they must be out of gas a bit.
If they want to win this one, they need to score first and fast and more than one goal.
Prdiction: 4-1 Hawks
This one starts on the wrong foot, one minute in the Hawks score. 1-0
Good to see Khabib back on track, I always admired this guy, Aebisher is doing not bad either tonight, except on that first goal. Habs need to score, and score soon.
Again Higgins? Are you shi ting me? This guy is on good pace so far, 1-1.
I missed all the action in the 2nd, had an unexpected visit, now in the middle of the 3rd, 2-1 Hawks on a power play i think.
This game has been a bit all about goalies i guess, I kinda missed the track there in the 2nd, but so far late in the 3rd it is about them.

Done, the Habs lose, not as I guessed, but really Khabi was amazing tonight as far as I saw.
This is one of the best hockey night ever for me, I love the Habs but my second favourite team is Calgary's.
The flames are just hard work, hard work and more hard work and that's why Ilove this team. Although I have to go with the habs winning the matchup tonight, I hope that when the Habs don't win the cup, only Calgary does.
I chose the Habs to win because of their flawless PK, and the Flames poor PP. This will be a close one, unless the Habs PP get them a couple then it shouldn't be that close.

Kip got the best out of Koivu, and I'm sure that Koivu is pissed eventhough the Habs won and his line played awsome again tonight.
So was it all coincidence that HHL.com ended the game at 5-4 Habs after the 2nd period? It's a million to one chance of it happening especially after what we saw in the first 2 periods of play, 9 goals that is!!!!!!!!

That season I lived one block away from the Old Forum on Tower Street and I was in the middle of the action, I was 19 and since, I haven't let go of my need for another similar experience.
