Tonight's game will be again all about PP and PK. Of course remains to see how well Huet will handle the nets.

Pretty good start for the Habs, I guess Huet is going to kill us tonight, what did he do all summer, practice Soccer? What a lame goal.

Not a bad oppening period by the Habs, I liked the fact that they haven't allowed the Sabres that many shots and I like that Huet seems to be getting back in it. Miller was outstanding so far.

3-0 Sabres, Pomminville scores it. Huet looked a bit week on that one, come on guys, get back into it fast.
The habs look frustrated out there, taking all kinds of Penalties.
The 2nd period wasn't as I wished for it to be, the Sabres have actually taken over the gameplay and they look like just having fun, Miller again had a very solid period.
Between brackets, I really enjoy watching the Sabres, they are an awsome group.

Ok I really don't see how the Habs can come back into this one, they are just killing their chances, stupid penalty by Kovalev killing the PP.
3-1 Final, no match tonight really, hats down Sabres.
My predictions for the Habs this season: 101 points, good for 4rth place in the East.
Fist period of the 06\07 season is on and our Habs are looking sharp. Huet is up to the test so far, one less thing to worry about. True that the officials deprived the Sabres of a sure goal, but I wonder how many bad calls are going to go against each and every team during the long season.
I like the line of Plekanec-Kovalev-Samsonov so far, they seem to have a good thing going on. Miller has been very sharp through the first period as well, which should reassure all the Sabres fans out there.
On to the second period...
What a game so far by Captain Koivu, how does he do that just beats me really. The guy is playing with an injured eye! Way to go Higgins, this should be a good boost of confidence to help him continue what he started at the end of last season, 2-0 Habs.
There we go again, just around the half way mark of the game and the Habs are throwing it all away with penalties. 5 on 3 for 1.20, let's see how they they will kill this. This badly reminds me of last season's problem with the Habs. 2-1 already.

What's with all the bad giveaways tonight? Ninima, Bonk and Markov already giving it away badly. Good, now the penalties are killed, so far a great job with the special teams, a brief demonstration of what's coming our way this season with the Muller and carbonneau system.

Waw what a game tonight really, overtime is just too much action. Just where is the line of Kovalev and Samsonov tonight? Koivu line can't do everything all alone, that's my biggest worry this start of the season... On to shootout! What an exciting game all together really, great oppening game going to shootout, although the Habs had this game slip away badly at the end of 3rd. Let's hope for a win afterall.

Overall game is good, first line impeccable, second line started alright than vanished.
