BOOYOW SAYS! DON'T DO IT, DONT DO IT! If I were the head coach of the Carolina Panthers and dealing with the QB situation such as it is. I WOULD NOT START CARR.
Now you Panther fans might be saying: But Why BooYow? Here is why!
Simply put, David Carr is not a NFL starting QB to expect wins from. David Carr is NOT a NFL Backup QB you can put in a starters role and expect him NOT to LOSE the game for you. David Carr is the kind of QB you put in New England as the 3rd string QB that only gets mop up duty and pray you dont put him in too early ... like with a 35 point lead with less than 5 minutes on the clock.
Now I know what your thinking: "That Im only saying that because he sucked for the Texans"! Hey, you know what...you would be right! But that's not the whole story. David Carr can't pull the trigger on quick routes...when he does decide to throw it's six the other way. If he gets too much time he hears foot steps and tries to run (which only hurts the team more, by causing possible injuries to other key players).
My thoughts would be to start Vinny, he sure will not hurt your team's chances at winning. He's a veteran, he's strong and he can get the job done...especially when it counts. Listen up Mr Fox, your jobs been on the line too many seasons not to start Vinny. So what if you signed Carr as a backup, by signing and winning with Vinny everyone will overlook the mistake of signing Carr.
Panther fans, please pray that Mr. Fox reads this blog and takes my advice, otherwise you can blow this season off and start scouting for early round draft picks for next year.
I would think that this move is logical, yet unreliable. Carr has not enought power to lead a team like Vinny was, and maybe still is, capable of leading a team.
Yo! The only thing you need to know about BOOYOW is this: "I KEEP IT REAL DAMMIT"!
That's it in a nutshell, and as time goes on I'll lay in on some of the hot sports topics with my own little shpeel. That's right..be HEARD FOOL!
